"The World is Dieing"

Okay, this more or less a rant.. I was recently stuck without internet, and in this time I have come to the harsh fact that this world is dieing. Not only by the people by me, but by absolutly everything I've seen. My world, more or less, revolves around the internet. When I'm not talking to people through the Instant Messaging Systems, I'm either on Gaia, or I'm on Google or somewhere else reading on something of intrest of me. If I'm playing a game and I get stuck, I can go to GameFAQ's. If I'm searching for an artical of clothing that I happen to fancy, go to the internet. I download music (Hahaha, I'll admit it, sue me) from the internet, and I listen to some music through other sites like Blue Laguna or something of the such. I've also, now looking back, in the past realised I've even held in going to the bathroom, or eating to finish something I've been doing on the net. My life revolved compleatly around the internet.. and I now know I'm not the only one.

Well, when they cut out my internet, by the way we did pay for it, the company Charter Communications are just retarded... I've found no reason to believe that that is not one-hundred percent litteral. That is the only word that comes to mind when I think of them, retarded. More on that later. Well when they did cut off my internet they also cut off my Television. I currently own three movies for me to watch, Harry Potter: 1, 2, and 3, Aka The Philosophers Stone, The Chamber of Secrets, and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I also watch these movies about four or five times a week, due to boredom and I know them by heart. I can't watch the first movie anymore really because my sister, bless her heart, can not take care of a CD that isn't hers if her life depended on it. I've let her borrow three CD's recently and not a one of them play like they should. One, it only works about 1/4 of the time, the other only works 1/2 of the time, and it skips, and the movie it skips.. and that's the last thing you want in a DVD. So, I don't really get to watch it anymore, I've cleaned it time and time again, but to no prevail.. it won't be playable like it use to. Well, back on to the point, as I've seen these movies, many many times it is hard for me to really get interested in them. It's sad when you have so much at your fingertips and you take it so much for granted. We've become the most laziest race on the planet.

Well, as you can assume, when we noticed that the TV and Internet was cut off, my father called the company and questioned what in the hell they were doing. He asked them and they replied: "It's going to take about five days for us to cut it back on." Well, I'm rather currious, why will it take five days for you to cut of on if it only takes about three minuits, if that, to cut it off? As I was thinking that, my father said just about the same thing, I was listening in on the conversation. They said they could try to get it done tonight, being Thursday and if not then tomorow, they would really try. Well, nothing on either Thursday nor Friday, and my dad called up there today again, being Saturday as I am typing this with nothing to else to do for I just woke up and it's about 2:45 in the morning. He called up there and he asked them when they will get here.. and apparantly the girl who he was talking to, didn't even write it down on the schedule. So now we have to wait even longer.

Well, about a week ago, I bought a game off of Amazon and it was stated to be fifteen dollars, but when they say fifteen dollars they really mean fifteen and any more that they want to add. I've delt with buying stuff off the internet, so I was expecing that it would cost more, and it cost twenty-one dollars. Not too much, but why can't they just say that it's going to be twenty one dollars? People really do get less pissed when they know exacaly how much they have to pay. Well, I payed it and it was on Saturday night of last week, and well.. I understand that they can't ship it on Sunday, for there is no post on Sunday. So, what can you do. I got a email Monday saying it was shiped and should be here in about three to four days. Well, I currently have no game. Being five days later, and now I have to wait another two days and about twelve hours just to go and check the mail to see it it's gonna be here yet. The Postal Service, not the band, for in my opinion they absolutly rule, sucks. It's slow and unreliable in my opinion, Email is so much better, but without internet Email isn't possable in my house currently. They should work on technology, and I'm sure they are, to move stuff through the internet. Almost like teleportation or de then rematerilizing. Well, that could be considered teleporting, but whatever. I still find the US Postal Service very unreliable.

I don't read very often, atleast not books either. Why should I, I have TV to keep me occupied. I have Internet to fall back on when there's nothing on the TV too. That is also all reading, well, a good part reading. Well, without either, I went and visited my cousins house and borrowed a book that I had been meaning to for along time now, it's the fifth installment in the Harry Potter Series, and I'll admit it, I hate reading, but there are a few books that catch my attention. That series is a good one, I really like both the books and the movies. Well, all I've really done today was sleep and read that book. I slept a great deal, because I stayed up listening to my cousins Xbox yesterday and I did happen to get on the internet for about an hour, I sent a friend an spare item that they stated in their signature that they wanted, and I PMed two other people saying that my current Internet Provider is crap. Which I still believe to be true.

In the past few days, I've had nothing to do and what do I have to show for it? 248 pages of reading. That is it.. Without the internet, and TV, my life is dull, and I feel all of your lives would too be dull. I've beaten just about all of my games that I currently have, and I've played just every single one I own that I'm not compleatly stuck on and gotten further in it too while my net has been.. well.. gone. They wern't that intersting seeing they are mostly first gen. Playstation 2 games, and alot of Playstation 1 games. This should probably be an entry for a Online Blog, but I currently hate my Blog, and I want to post it here anyway. What sucks most of all out of all of this though, is that I can't talk to the girl who I dream of without the internet, well.. I could, but not now cause it's past 12:00 and she's not allowed to be on the phone past 12:00.

My final statements are that the United States Postal Service sucks, People who work but don't work suck, and lazy people suck, everybody at sometime sucks, and it's all apart of human nature, I can understand... but that just proves that we as a race are not fit to rule this planet, not fit to rule anything more than a cup of coffee, and there's some people out there I'd not even trust with that.. Ya know, I'll bet this would have never been written if I only lost one, TV or Internet.

Edit: By the way, I finished the book now. Almost 900 pages

Wow... sad tale.
Back to better news... coupons at Arby's, bigger cars that take more gas, bigger bombs and bigger guns. Drugs killing peple, disease killing people, people killing people.
I don't really think we need to worry about our ruling the planet, we'll make sure we don't do it for too long.

Proposed solutions for world problems:
Xenocide of human race (not pretty and not my choice)
More to come... (come on and post other solutions, I don't want t die)

Hmm... that was quite a moment in your life, wasn't it?
Well, technology is funny, we get so mad when our Laptop crashes and stuff, it's actually kinda funny. I think the world also has a sense of life to it though, when you realize that, all those liitle bad moments just fade away.
