Well, I'm a lizardman player, so my game is the two-move-skink-handoff-for-a-touchdown game, while my bruisers try to prevent the skinks being bruised. 3nodding

Well I have had the Blood Bowl boxed set for what it seems like an age. But soon I am finaly going to start playing it more often. I am thinking of starting either a Wood Elves or an Undead team but I am still undecided on that.

I play or have played almost every team in BB, but my favourite was a Caos team with which I've join the first real league I've ever played and ended up winning two leagues and two Caos cup's in a row. After that I gave them the deserved rest in the "hall of fame" shelf.

I'm sorry to say that you have not won two Chaos cups in a row...the Chaos Cup is located at the GW store that I go to, and is the only "real" Chaos Cup. Plus I was in the Chaos Cup for three years in a row, and no one has won the Cup twice in a row...And I belive that chaos has never won it...Khemri, dark elves, amazon, and dwarves have been the winning teams the last four years... On a diffent note, I play a Wood elf team in a league, and a vamp team for one-off games. Hehe Wood Elfs with agi 5 Blodge, leap, diving catch, and sprint. Paired with a thrower that had strong arm, pass, and hail mary.

Im pretty sure he was just running a self league and stuff and won in his own area....for instance NZ has a chaos cup and a dungeoun cup and several other ones. Wether its held at GW or not doesnt make it the be all.... I play humans mostly, with a witch hunter theme. Have an insane amount of fan factor as they whip up the 'pious' to come and watch. It's fun and the humans are the more versatile of the teams in my opinion, also its sad this thread was dying.

It's just a name for some kind of tournment for a table top game, with a handfull of miniatures and a few dice. On the other hand, if you're really into Bloodbowl, love the background, the races, the competition, the painting, the modeling, the house rules, and the couple of hours it allows you to relax and have some fun for a while, then yes, you have won a chaos cup, as did I and as a bunch of other ppl from several countrys. And now we could talk about tactics, minis, or even schedule a game. Aint that cool? Cheers K

Hello there !
Personnally I've been playing BB since the early 90s (yeah i'm quite old now ^^) and I have a set of 32 teams, which have allowed me to start a league with my pals like the NFL schedule (yeah, lots of game !)
My favorite team is definitively the Lizardmen : fast, strong, quite agile, it's really the best round-up team at start, but they evolve very slowly...

Thats more or less when I started playing BB in a league too, so we're probably more or less of the same age. And by your nick Mr.Vlad I would dare to say you're a WFB player too. biggrin Thats how I got into wargamming.

It's really tempting to pick up the game and have a league over the Summer.
But.. So. Many. Other. Things. sweatdrop

That is also how I started wargaming too ! wink I "rediscovered" BB with the 4th and 5th edition, and as I got more and more attracted by the minis and painting, I get wrapped in WFB and started 6 different armies blaugh

I only have about 4 WFB (at least with enough minis for 2k game with a few units on the side for different tactical choices...). On the other hand, I have 3 more of 40k. And like a dozen BB teams (plenty more for sure but I dont realy want to "start counting"...). Not that I have all that time to play, but I realy like the converting part of the hobby, so whenever I get half an hour free instead of just watching tv, I "just" listen to it and get my hands doing stuff. Thats how my armys grow... K.
