The Cruiser Division The cruiser division began back in 2005. The Cruiser title came into being when the owner, Jarel Drako Damone, noticed that there weren't a lot of cruiserweights or divas left in the company. As such, he decided to merge the cruiserweight and women's titles. Cruiserweight champion Jed and Women's Champion, Janelle, had a one on one match to unify the titles, with Janelle ultimately emerging victorious to create the cruiser title. Janelle quickly became the pioneer of this new division, defending the title against people such as Trish Stratus. She would eventually lose the title after a lengthy reign to TJ Angel in 2006. Keeping the division alive, Trish Stratus was the next champion, and lost it to Brody Duncan on her first title defense. Brody lost the title back to the pioneer herself on his first title defense. Which brings us to Wrestlemania. The cruiser division was already moving along nicely, and Trish Stratus was still after the gold. However, the owner threw a curveball by announcing a wild card entrant to the title match at Wrestlemania. That wildcard was none other than his younger brother, Brandon Damone.
Wrestlemania comes once a year, and this was the opening match of the night. They didn't disappoint either, as both Brandon and Janelle took to the skies throughout the match. Trish, while not notoriously a high flyer, took several risks. the match was a close call, with so much flying all 3 competitors had to have wracked some frequent flyer miles. But at the end of the match, it was Brandon who emerged victorious with a picture perfect moonsault on his younger sister, winning his first ever singles title. We got the chance just a few days later to interview the new cruiser champion.Interviewer: First we have to say congratulations on your victory at Wrestlemania. Brandon: Thank you. When i got the call from my bro saying he wanted me to open the biggest show of the year, i knew i had to do it big.Interviewer: It's obvious that you and your sister know each other's moves well. however, you had the element of surprise on your side. Brandon: My sister isn't one to b***h and complain. She knows that being champion means being prepared for anything. She brought her A game and so did I. I guess i just wanted it more.Interviewer: What are your views on Trish Stratus? Brandon: Trish did her part in the cruiser division, and i know she's hot on my heels. It's rumored that she's challenging me for Judgment Day, and I'm going to accept.Interviewer: Nice to know you're a fighting champion. What are your other plans now that you're here in the cruiser division? Brandon: You know, Jarel always told me that being champion doesn't mean a thing if you don't defend the title. So many people in this industry can boast long title reigns, but their title reigns were only long because they never defended them. Like my brother, i intend to defend this title at every opportunity. I want to steal the show. The cruiser division is going to blow up even bigger than it already is. I want to get some of the other guys involved in it, like Cartwright. I want them to see that just because it isn't a world title doesn't mean it isn't worth their time. I want them to see that we cruiser division stars can put on matches just as good if not better than theirs. So to all the other title divisions, watch out. The cruiser division is going to spark a revival in this company and bring it front and center, bigger than ever before.

The Fued ends at last For the better part of a year, XCW fans have watched a bitter feud between two of the biggest and meanest superstars, Zarel Damone and Kane. The two have been in wars over this time, fighting in cage matches, hardcore matches, tag team matches, and everything in between. Finally, to settle the feud, the two met in a last chance ambulance match for the intercontinental title at Wrestlemania. The question is, is the feud really over?Zarel: Is the feud over? That's a good question. Let's put it this way. I'm over it.interviewer: But is Kane over it? Zarel: That sounds like something you should ask Kane. I don't really associate with him.Interviewer: Isn't it true that you and Kane have tag teamed together in the past? Zarel: In other federations, yes we did tag team together. Interviewer: What happened? Zarel: I think all you have to do is look at Kane's history to understand. Kane has turned on every tag team partner he's ever had, starting with Mankind. Then there was X-pac, the Undertaker, the Hurricane, and Rob Van Dam. Most recently he turned on Shawn Michaels, forcing HBK to find a new tag team partner to win the titles back from me and Janelle. Interviewer: Well, couldn't he say the same to you? You turned on your own twin brother in other federations. Zarel: Say what you want. Leaving my brother behind got both of us a lot more gold than we had before. We're past that now.Interviewer: Well, regardles, you're still the intercontinetal champion. What are your plans now? Zarel: As long as the Big Red Retard stays away from me, I'm moving on up. The undertaker is next on my list, cuz he has what i want, the XCW Undisputed championship.

A Talented Rant My untalented public, I have great news for you all! The Editors at XCW Magazine asked me to write a article about whatever I wanted to and I was happy to use my excellent writing skills! Travis. Yes, lets write about him. Why not? I know it's scraping the bottom of the barrel but to be honest I don't have any other ideas. He has a rematch against me coming up for my XCW Television Championship and the stipulation in the meantime is that if he touches me he loses his rematch, but if I touch him I lose my title. Fine by me, I don't want to touch him. I don't know where he has been! Also, he gets to name what type of match it will be, if he ever gets it. I plan to find a way to get him to punch me (at least) and then he loses his rematch! Easy! A night off for me, even if I have to spend the next few weeks annoying him to the edge of insanity, it will be worth it! twisted I find it unfair that he gets to name the match type. I am the champion, I should be the one calling the shots, not some "legend" wannabe who isn't fit to shine my £200 shoes. I will win the match and retain my title, just like I beat him for the title in the first place. It just concerns me that I could be stepping into a match unknown to me. I mean, I'll find a way to win anyway because I am The Talented One, but this strikes me as favouritism and I thought our all-powerful master Jarel was better than that. Rant over. I'm hungry, I'm off to get some pizza! "The Talented One" Cartwright

(jarel ought to get a kick out of that. all powerful master. hahahahaha!) DX: The next generation Since XCW's beginning, Shawn Michaels has lead the renegade group of D-Generation X, but couldn't seem to find the right partners. His longest ally was the volatile Kane, who turned on Shawn Michaels just a few months ago in favor of helping his brother the Undertaker, who he's spent most of his time feuding with since his debut. After being sold out and screwed out of the tag team titles, the Heartbreak Kid went on to find a new partner, a legendary figure like himself. It seems that this time the partnership might last, with both men having a mutual respect for each other. They won the titles back from the ever popular Damones and steamrolled right through Wrestlemania, defeating Arc Angel and Brody Duncan to retain the titles. Shawn has granted XCW magazine an interview regarding the state of the tag team division.Interviewer: Thank you for your time, Shawn. First off i guess we should congratulate you on another showstopping performance. HBK: Just another day on the job as far as I'm concerned. However, someone has to breathe some life back into the tag team division. Since the undertaker started concentrating on his solo career, it would seem to me that the tag team division has been lacking. Me and Kane held those titles unopposed for over a year after taking them back from the Undertaker and the Rock. Then the Rock turned against the Undertaker and things just got crazy.Interviewer: I take it that despite the ongoing feud you and the Undertaker have had over the Undisputed title that you still hold some respect for him. HBK: You can't help but respect him. He's been carrying the company pretty well. A year long title reign is nearly unheard of in this day and age. He's XCW's first Undisputed Champion. And he managed to take me down all on his own without help from the Ministry. Yeah, i respect him.Interviewer: Well, you've got a new partner now in the Maverick. He's always said to have admired you in childhood. HBK: It never ceases to amaze me how many people in this business do. Makes me feel kind of old, you know? But as a teammate, he's the best i've had since Jarel. There's not that feeling of needing to look over my shoulder anymore like there was with Kane. And he holds his own in singles matches. There's no need to back him up. And I don't have to constantly engage in meaningless scuffles.Interviewer: Well, we know you aren't going to stick to just the tag team division are you? HBK: Not a chance. While i respect the Phenom, he has something we all want, the top prize in our business. And I want it now more than ever. I fully intend to take him on again at the first opportunity and take that belt. However, we can still keep the tag team division moving along. DX has got some big plans for the future, and if you're not down with that, we've got just two words for ya!at the end of the article are these spray painted words: SUCK IT!

(bow to your almighty master damn you! muwahhahahaha! ) The Undefeated Streak Continues and the rivalry ends Since the beginning of XCW, one man has truly reigned supreme. After almost 3 years, the Undertaker has only been pinned twice, but at the biggest event of the year, he has never been pinned. Counting his Wrestlemania victories in WWE, the Phenom has brought his impressive streak to 17-0 with the two Wrestlemania victories in XCW. At our first Wrestlemania, he faced off against Royal Rumble Co-winner the Dark Hunter, setting the bar for Wrestlemania match quality. After a truly back and forth match in which both men kicked out of each other's finisher, a third and final tombstone kept the Dark Hunter Down, allowing the Phenom to keep his World title. The two world title were combined into the Undisputed title shortly thereafter, and the Phenom's reign continued. Shutting down the top men in the company, including Kane, Shawn Michaels, and the Rock, the Phenom even took on newcomers in his quest for a challenge. Heading into this year's Wrestlemania, an old friend turned foe stood in his path.
After winning an over the top rope battle royale, the Rock was slated to face the Phenom one on one, one last time for the Undisputed title. The Rock seemed more determined than ever to win the goal and break the Undertaker's Wrestlemania streak. Though no physicality occured between the two in the weeks leading to Wrestlemania, sometimes silence can be deadly.
The Great One rode into Wrestlemania with an intensity he hasn't shown until recently in XCW. In the Rock's debut in XCW, he was recruited into teh Phenom's Ministry of Darkness. As part of the Ministry, he had a hand in the destruction of Evolution, headed by Triple H and the repeated decimation of DX, Kane and Shawn Michaels. But while with the Ministry, tension began to grow as the Rock saw the Phenom win the XCW title and retain it time after time. When the Phenom lost the title due to interference from Kane and Shawn Michaels, the Rock still felt slighted when the undertaker won the world heavyweight title and decimated their rivals again. The last straw, according to the rock, was when the XCW Champion, Schneider, mysteriously vanished and the Undertaker became the Undisputed XCW champion. The Rock withdrew from the Ministry and went through the remaining members until he earned the right to face the Phenom. His first attempt ended in failure, and though he tried to rise again, Shawn Michaels and Kane got to the Phenom first.
Relief came at last after a surge of new blood was brought into XCW, bringing legends such as Sting and the Maverick, as well as younger generation people such as Ryan and the American Dream. In an over the top rope battle royale with some of the bigger stars, the Rock finally earned his shot, outlasting 10 other men to earn another shot at his former leader in the Ministry. The Undertaker welcomed the challenge and the match was set.
The Rock received a decent reception from the fans as he entered the ring at Wrestlemania. He wasn't intimidated by teh impressive entrance of the Phenom. Finally, he'd recieved his shot. The Rock took to the offense early, but no one stays that way for long against the Phenom. the two men battled in and around the ring, even on the announcer's table. The match was filled with familiar maneuvers, and a few different ones on the rock's part in an attempt to keep the undertaker down. The Rock hit the Undertaker with everything but the kitchen sink, and that includes the steel steps. Unfortunately, he couldn't stop the Phenom's momentum, as one tombstone piledriver later, the Rock was pinned for the three count.
As we all know, the undertaker began his streak back in WWE with a victory over the legendary Jimmy Supafly Snuka. He went on through several other greats, such as Jake the Snake Roberts, King Kong Bundy, Diesel, and Kane, and some that are best left forgotten, such as the Giant Gonzalez and Albert. But here in XCW the undertaker has the two longest world title reigns in his illustrious career. And if Wrestlemania is a preview of things to come, the Phenom has a great deal more in store for the fans.
