Demetrius leaned back watching his children run around. Caelan was steady crawling after the red head Keesa. Kyrie was trying to be the lord of a small mound of blocks and his brother Skelly who didn't understand what his elder brother was doing. He chuckled feeling overly paternal of his children and nephews. They where so adorable.
Mutsuki looked over from the couch he was seated on with his twin, sticking close to his side and watching them with slightly wide eyes. He hadn't seen children that young in so long...he'd always liked children.
Skelly growing tired of the other who he had yet to work out who or what relation he had to Kyrie crawled over to the second couch, staring up at Mutsuki in interest. He tilted his head and gave a happy mew sound, making grabby hands hoping to be lifted.
Mutsuki shifted uncertainly, then picked him up, a bit shakily. "Uh...hello..." he said quietly, placing Skelly on the couch next to him. Itsuki smiled and watched them both.
Skelly sniffed at Mutsuki, little noise wrinkling as he reconganized neither of the others was familiar to him. He looked up at Itsuki and gave a gurgling sound, swushing his coon tail.
"Caelan! You can not bite your brother.."Demetrius moved quickly swinging up the little one wearing green and pausing. What was Skelly doing?
Mutsuki looked to Itsuki, who smiled, and he smiled back, looking at Skelly again, "What are you doing over here, hm?" Itsuki sat back, folding his hands in his lap.
Keesa swifly stop pouting at his bitten tail, looking with his father and giggled running to the other couple, smiling. "My baby brother!"
Skelly giggled at the other and stuck his tongue out at his eldest sibbling before snuggling against Mutsuki, sticking a finger in his mouth.
Mutsuki gasped and looked at Keesa, wings twitching as he rubbed Skelly's back hesitantly. "Um...hello?"
Keesa giggled smiling happily. "I'm Keesa. He's Skelly." It was such a funny name. "He's my baby brother...Caelan is to."
Why did children have to be so curious ? Demetrius sigh, bouncing the baby in his arms and walked over.
Skelly happily have a burrbling purr , nuzzling the other.
"Oh. Nice to meet you, Keesa. I'm Tachibana Mutsuki. And this is my twin, Tachibana Itsuki."
Keesa small features wrinkled as the kitten attempted to say the others name and with a giggle. "Suki!"
"I hope they aren't being a bother," Demetius question trying to tug his finger away from the other baby trying to nibble his hand.
"Not at all," Itsuki spoke up, as Mutsuki had shyed back. "They're just being friendly."
Kyrie kicked his blocks down, setting up a wail of crankyness on being left out.
Demetrius winced, that one took after his brothers bad qualities. "Could you watch them for a moment?" He asked setting Caelan down and hurring to stop Kyrie before he could throw a tantrum.
Caelan glared at the two and hummph.
"Oh dear..." Mutsuki bit his lip and looked at each of the children. Itsuki just chuckled. Mutsuki shifted a bit, and tried to strike up conversation, "Is anyone here twins?"
Keesa giggled. "Kyrie is my twin. Caelan and Skelly are twins. "
Skelly happily climbed into Mutsuki lap, glancing up at the other and attempted to reach his nose with a chuby fist.
Mutsuki smiled weakly, and touched the brutal bruise on his neck, "Usually I'd feel scared for you..."
Skelly gave a small confused sound, looking at the dark color and attempted to climb up Mutsuki to touch the bruise giving concern gurgles.
Keesa little eyes when wide. "Ooooh bad bo bo!"
Caelan snorted looking at it and stared down at his feet, golden eyes glancing at the other slightly in concern but trying to mask it.
Mutsuki pulled back a bit, biting his lip, "Don't worry about it," he said, smiling weakly, "It's old."
"Papa should kiss it and make it better."
Skelly kept attempting to climb, eyes watering in concern and begain to cry.
Mutsuki gasped and leant back so Skelly could reach, just to make him feel better, then he looked up, "No, no, it's ok."
Skelly looked at the bruise and placed one chumby stick hand against it, petting it.
Keesa pouted and tugged Caelan in his lap before the other could bite Itsuki. "No Caelan. "
Itsuki watched them, looking amused despite the attempted biting, "It's ok, I wouldn't feel it."
Mutsuki smiled again, even weaker now, "Thank you. It feels better."
Keesa bounced the other making him give a surprise gurglign sound. "Papa says Caelan cranky cause his teeth make his mouth sore. So he bites."
Skelly dropped down and snuggled Mutuski, sucking his fist and looking at the other twin.
"Ooh, he's teething?" Itsuki chuckled, "I remember when Mutsuki was teething. He bit mother."
"How do you remember that?" Mutsuki asked, blinking and rubbing Skelly's back again.
Keesa nodded. "Caelan younger then Skelly by little time but he gets teeth first. Skelly likes to cuddle."
Skelly gave a happy gurrgling sound in Mutsuki's lap.
"Yes, I'd noticed. He's very loveable." Mutsuki said, smiling and folding his wings tighter to his back.
Keesa beamed. "Papa says that why he named baby Skelly. After someone.."
Mutsuki got a thoughtful smile on his face, "It would be nice to have children. I'd name one after Chitose."
"Who's Chitose?" Keesa question keeping Caelan restrain and occupied to bite a teething ring. "Someone special like Skelly?
"Yeah. She's our little sister," Mutsuki looked sad. "She was nearly blind."
Itsuki got an identical sad look on his face, "I gave her those bells so she could ring when she needed us.
Keesa looked down at Caelan and then Skelly. “Papa was surprise they where both healthy. He was sicky when preganent.”
Mutsuki gave a weak smile, "I'm glad they're ok."
Keesa nodded. "Uncle is too. He's the babies Papa."
Mutsuki looked confused by that, "If he's your uncle, how is he the Papa?"
"My mama is their uncle. "Keesa said. "Mama loves Papa and uncle so I'm was born from mama and papa and Skelly was born from apa and uncle."
Mutsuki looked even more confused, "Are any of them related by blood...?"
Keesa giggled. "Uncle and Mama are brothers."
"So...they share a mate? That's absurd..."
Keesa shook his head. "No it's not. Rene's actually parents are three who are together too. Papa loves them both."
"Oh my, I think my brain hurts...brothers loving eachother like that." He looked at Itsuki, "That happens?"
"I've heard of it."
Demetrius returned with a more subdue Kyrie and catching the tail end of the converstaion. He glanced at Keesa and shook his head. "Questions?" He rumbled out.
