Dear Diary:
I don’t know which is weirder, being pregnant, or actually having someone else in your life you have to look out for. It seems all my waking moments revolve around Kaylee; is she happy, tired, hungry, sleepy, and mad. I have to watch her every movement, and catalogue her every action.
It’s tiring, but I love it. My baby girl is beautiful, and I don’t know what I did without her.
I think Trent would be proud to see his daughter. I have a feeling that even though I know we put him to rest, he’ll be watching her grow.
I’m a little worried about the Warden’s though. If Kaylee has appeared on their radar, they haven’t said anything. Alexis hasn’t heard anything either, but if Kaylee is something other than fire, Alexis probably wouldn’t know about it.
I’m fine with the idea of my baby having Warden powers. I’m not gonna make the same mistakes my parents made with me, by forcing me to fit into their white-fence world. Kaylee is gonna be loved no matter what life throws at us, for who she is. And truthfully, there is nothing else I’d rather have he be.

[???] - - Arafel Back to the familiar waiting room, where the three always came for whatever reason needed... it was fairly convenient being able to return to the same place. Still, no one seemed to know what had been ailing the paler of the twins, so here they were again... while he was feeling down and out of it again, nothing big... just these sleepy spells, probably another cold. So she stepped into the room, opening the door for the two children, and letting Futoeki rush in with Iteru tagging along behind.
"Go play in the waiting area, I'll be there in a moment." She smiled, sending the children off while she went to sign in and explain the symptoms.
Futoeki was first to the toys, digging out some of his favorite and bringing them back to where his more tired brother had plopped into his seat, scanning the room until his sibling showed. Elda-Chan Eden struggled carefully with the door; baby carefully balanced in one arm, purse, diaper bag, and other necessities on the other arm. Mindful not to drop the child, she made her way to the counter to get the necessary paperwork. This was Kaylee’s 6-month check up, and the little girl seemed to have more than doubled in size. She was becoming more playful and energetic, but still didn’t attempt to talk much. At the moment she was sleeping peacefully, still her favorite pastime, unaware that she’d soon be awaken by the poking doctor’s hands. Eden collected the necessary papers and made her to the waiting area, sitting just a few seats down from a couple of young boys. Arafel Iteru enjoyed the attention from his brother, though a little tired, that inner boy desperately wanted to play. Futoeki helped that need by getting rid of most the physical strains for the action. Atleast he could play with a toy plane. "Broom~ pew pew!" both the boys made the sound effects, firing at one another, dipping, diving, somersaulting, several moves that real planes could never pull off. There was a curious pause when someone sat nearby though, just after their mother returned to her seat besides them. She had offered a warm smile to the other mother, giving her two a little "shh" and a glance to the sleeping tot. Both zipped it, nodding in understanding... You had to be quiet around sleeping babies! That was just a fact... but now they were interested... both wound up staring wide eyed at the sleeping figure. They hadn't seen a baby that young before had they? It was kinda cute... like one of Ilori's little dolls. Elda-Chan Eden smiled broadly at the pair, noting their apparent interest in Kaylee. She nodded to the woman she assumed was their mother, before shifting seats to be closer to the family. “Hello there.” She said warmly to the boys, but still quietly so as not to disturb her own child. “I’m Eden, and this,” She gestured to the baby in her arms. “Is Kaylee. Who might you be?”

[First Words and Memmories] - - Kaylee's first word and the memmories it arises in Eden
Eden was tired. Admittedly, raising a child by one’s self was exhausting work physically, but it was more than that. She was tired emotionally; drained, actually. She’d lost more than she’d ever know when Trent died, but had gained so much as well.
She looked at the precious bundle of ten-moth old baby cuddled in her arms. She’s was a beautiful girl, with her mother’s tarnished red hair and smile, and her father’s eyes. The eyes of the man Eden would miss for the rest of her life.
“You remind me for your dada.” She cooed to the smiling child. “You look just like him, and your dada was very special.” The baby’s smile grew wider and she giggled.
“Dada. . .” She repeated, imitating her mother, and Eden felt her heart stop. “Da---da. . .” The tiny girl said again.
Eden’s heart ached just a tiny bit as she hugged the child to her chest, and whispered softly against her hair.
“Yes, your dada.”

 Dear Diary:
Where has time gone?
My little baby is growing stronger everyday, and she's gorgeous! It's like someone took all the best qualities of Trent and I and threw them together into this little person. It's astounding!
She's not prefect, not by far. She has a temper (oopies, guess who she gets that from?), and much like any other child she's into everything. Nothing has manifested that you could call, well, supernatural. But that's not unusual at this age.
The djinn have also been strangely quite of late. I'd almost be worried if I wasn't enjoying the break so much.

Autumn is most definitely here, and the weather is becoming brisk and chilly. In an effort to make use of some collected tree branches that had fallen during the summer storms and to get into the spirit of the season, Eden sets about making a fire in the fireplace.
Little Kaylee watches her mother with great interest, seeming transfixed by both the process and the flames themselves. Maybe a little too transfixed, one might think.
At some point, Eden turns her back for just a moment to crumple some more paper, and when she looks again, Kaylee is in the process of sticking both of her hands right in the crackling fire! Oh, no!!
Eden will find, however, that her daughter is, strangely, not burned whatsoever. In fact, she seems more than a little annoyed at being denied her newest friend....
