"It sounds like a wonderful idea to me." Levana agreed with the plan for the day. Each of them would get the chance to attempt something new with the aid of another person there. It would most likely turn out to be a very productive day. "As long as we feel that we can learn something new by the time the competition rolls around then I feel we should try. Today we can experiment and decide if we'll stick with the old or go with the new."

The trio finally found themselves within the outdoor arena. By the looks of things almost every type of contraption had been built and was set to go by the looks of it. A trapeze loomed over head along with a tightrope on the other side both armed with a safety net below them. A trampoline was also set up as well as ribbons and several other types of things that opened up millions of possibilities for the competition. By the looks of it nothing had gone unnotices which should be no surprise knowing the owner of Kaleido Stage. The audience was certainly going to be in for a treat when the competition finally did roll around.

"I didn't bring any of my gear with me but I doubt my clothes will get in the way much. Shorts are certainly not resricting and a tank will move fine with whatever I do. The only thing I'll miss are my performance shoes since I am not quite sure what a tight rope is really made out of. Hopefully not of something that will hurt my bare feet." She chuckled as she lifted her foot and reached behind to pull the sneaker and sock off before repeating the process with her other foot. "Now I do believe we agreed to having Kayla go first?" She smiled at the other girls.

Arahila nodded and smiled happily. She would finally get to try something out with someone there that may just be able to tell her if she was doing it wrong. Nothing about Diablo suggested that someone that was flexiable would be better at it then someone who wasn't, but Arahila could see the possibilities of doing it in awkward positions. If she could take that and add in her contortionist skills then maybe, just maybe she would become some sort of star while she was here.

When Kayla brought up the possibility of her going last it seemed like the obvious line up and Arahila felt a little stupid for suggesting otherwise. "Okay. Well, Levana can go first and I'll go look for a Diablo set up while she gets situated. My leotard is under this so I'll just change real quick and slip on a head band."

Kayla stretched as she watched Levana on the tightrope, she wasn't overly fond of the thing though she only touched it a few times. Of all the apparatus it was the least forgiving of mistakes and it seemed to, at least in her mind delight in tossing you off it after lulling you into a false sense of security. Still she did need to get at least a little used to it if if she wanted to combined it with her silks.


She resisted the urge to cheer when Levana manged a cartwheel, distracting her friend was probably not the best idea. It could not have been easy to pull that off and it was better than she could do.

Perhaps that too was why she was enamored by silks. some of the twisting one did in that reminded her of the turned you pulled underwater when swimming. That much Kayla could do and well.

When levana fell she felt her body tighten then relax as the other girl emerged fine.

Kayla smiled and nodded " I'm not sure if a hot day here would be worse then under the stage lights but either way it's not going to be easy to work with."

Levana walked over to Kayla and Arahila as the two girls stretched catching Arahila's comment as she neared the two. With a chuckled she responded, "I've done a lot of work on a balance beam so I have training on something...well, sort of similar. The tightrope has so many different things to worry about and my major one, if I decide to really learn it, is to not hit the rope so hard after a jump. Unlike a balance beam, that will take the force, the tightrope just throws me right off. Not to mention how much thinner it is." She looked back up at the apparatus with a slightly furrowed brow. She knew it would take quite a bit of work to break her old habits from using the beam and adjusting herself to the tightrope. It would certainly be an interesting challenge and another nice skill to have.

Glancing down again Levana caught sight of the Diablo. "Oh! You found a Diablo." She smiled. "That will be an interesting thing to see once you learn it. Diablos are have always fascinated me but I've never had the time to take it up."

She glanced back up at the tight rope again. "I think I'll not hop on it again. Not yet anyways. I need to think about some stuff before I get back on there. Afterall, I won't get much donw if I just keep making the rope throw me off. So, who's going next?" She titled her head to the side as she turned her focus upon the other girls.

Levana herself plopped down on the ground to join Kayla in some extra stretching while Arahila stood to try the Diabolo. Instead of focusing directly on what she was stretching, Levana allowed herself to fall into the familiar stretch sequence she used after a workout so that she could focus more on Arahila. The balancing of the Diabolo went well enough as did the spinning. A few tips foreward and back but Arahila was able to get the spinning cups under control. When presented with a question though, Levana stopped her stretches momentarily to think.

"Hm, I think throwing it up in the air is the next step. As for how to catch it....well...I can only assume you've got to line it up just right or you'll miss of course." She paused a moment before continuing. "Um, not sure about this, but seeing as I've just experienced this myself on the tightrope, when you catch the diabolo you'll probably want to slacken the string a bit or it'll probably bounce right up and off." She reached down to her foot and resumed her stretching, her eyes never leaving Arahila. "Just be careful. I can imagine that thing huts a good bit if you get smacked with it."

Kayla looked up from her stretching and grinned at Arahila. " Congrats, Oh and just a bit more advice, if you plan to perform outside a lot don't use the metal ones or at least watch the sun when you throw, Plastic reflects but meta is worse" The red head blushed " learned that from a pogs accident to be honest." Kayla didn't have the fondest memory of that time but she figured helping Arahila not make the same mistake was important.

" I'm good to go and If you keep practicing I'm sure you'll be ready in time." Kayla smiled at the other girl and headed over to the Silks. She just going for basics today. Hauling herself up and perhaps a simple flip. With Arahila and Levana aroudn to spot even if things went bad she should be ok and that gave her incentive to really go for it.
