I officially declare the officially official Sweeney Todd guild open for business! (That's a lot of officials in one sentence. 0__o)

So go ahead and start posting. If you want to make a new thread, though, let me know here first. We don't want any repeats/misplaced threads, now do we?

You know those threads you see when you click on the community tab on the header? The top rated threads? Wouldn't it be great if our Sweeney thread made it on the list? The thread is almost constantly on the front page of the Entertainment Discussion forum. We've hit 780 posts, we have plenty of active members. Why shouldn't we be on that page?
So let's make it happen. Just vote a thumbs up every day, and pretty soon we'll make it. I'm going to advertise it in my siggy and some other places, and I hope that some people will either join the thread new or at least vote.

You may have noticed that many topics have been locked. This is only temporary until the Fanworks subforum is up and running. In an effort to keep the guild organized, there will now be a specific place for all fan art, fiction, and any other Sweeney-related fan production (this includes Del's movie).
Also, I would really appreciate it if you deleted any of your topics that lack discussion points, meaning any that can be answered with a simple yes or no. It's nothing personal, I just want to make sure our guild is nice and clean and looks very good and attracts new members.

The fanworks subforum has been made, and all locked threads have been moved and unlocked. Hopefully with the relocation of threads and the updates I'm making to the front page will make the guild more aesthetically pleasing. :]
Also, moderators, please post if you haven't already!

I've locked all threads concerning the movie other than the main thread started by Osh Manifest. Please discuss the movie here. I love, lovelovelove the enthusiasm, but I'd like to limit it to one movie thread please. I didn't delete the topics because some of the discussion was really amazing, and I don't want to lose that. So feel free to read through the threads, and if anything there makes you feel like sharing an opinion, it's totally ok (and wonderful) to bring it up in the movie thread.
Also, I'm thinking of making a Chatterbox forum, for discussion that has nothing to do with Sweeney. The community here on Gaia is awesome, and I think it'd be great to get to know all of you more outside of the context of Sweeney. There's a poll about this subforum-- let me know what you think about this idea. biggrin

Alright, folks. The Trunk is up and running! And yes, the title of our chatterbox/game forum is based off of the trunk Pirelli is shoved into. As far as content of the forum, I'm thinking it should be for stuff that has nothing to do with Sweeney, stuff that has to do with Sweeney that's humorous or lighthearted, and forum games. I've moved a few more game-like topics to that forum (Let's play a game! and Make Your Own Toddfic Plot were moved).

Also, I'm going to be purchasing a guild events forum, so that we can all take part in more special events. I'm thinking contests and parties-- how about you? I'll let you know more when I know more about what I'm doing with this.
