I've had this white rainy hair for a loooong time now... I love this hairstyle to death. >w<
In real life...
I cut my hair to my neck when I was eight, and it was literally down to my hips before that.
It was one of the worst mistake I've ever made. v.v
Now I've grown it out again, it almost reaches my hips when it's straightened, but I have curly hair naturally.
I'll never cut it again, and it's usually a reddish/purple color.
When I go out, I straighten it and have two little pigtails that don't have all of my hair in them.
I don't have a stylist, but I go to a salon and there are two people there who know me and dye it for me.

I change my Gaia hair whenever I get really bored, or something new that I love comes out. I used to delete and recreate my avi (and change the hair) very often when I was in AT all the time though, so I could match it to the current avi. However, I usually don't bother now; I have mules for that if I'm competeing, since I don't want to lose my salon hair.
Right now, it's darker than my natural hair. I have dark brown hair that's reddish in the sunlight, but there isn't a color like that (not even one that's plain dark brown) so I'm going with black. Plus it fits the avis I've been doing recently better.
My real hair I don't cut; I did when I was a little kid and I got so sick of people messing with my super long hair that I cut it off to my chin. It looked great that way, but being lazy I began growing it back out and I'm glad, since I really like long hair. It's now down to about waist level, and I'm hoping it'll keep going. I cut Cleopatra bangs into it (like Nelly Furtado's hair in the video for Say It Right; she and I have similar facial shape/hair type/coloring so I can use figure something that looks great for her will work for me too. XD) and I love it~ My hair is naturally perfectly straight, so no work on keeping it that way for me.
My mom cuts my hair for me, and when I dye it (which hasn't been for awhile) my dad does it for me. I do want to get some professional extensions put in as highlights to my hair (I don't want real highlights, since they'd have to be bleached in and that would kill my hair.)
I experiment with ways to wear my hair. Yesterday I wore four braids (again like Nelly Furtado, in 'Turn off the Light'), today it's a ponytail. I've also especially been liking trying sci-fi/fantasy styles, like some of Leia's braided styles from Empire Strikes Back. I need to take a look at some of Padme's less crazy styles and see if I can replicate them.

I rarely change my hair on Gaia...but IRL I have started changing it all the time. I've dyed it at least 10 times in the last year and a half...and I've gone from having 3 foot long hair, to mid-back length, to long layers, then shorter....then a bob. After that I had shaggy boy hair and now my hair is almost buzzed.

Outside of Gaia, I change my hair probably once a week.
It feels awfully dry most times, but the Paul Mitchel hair dye feels so nice.

-I change it whenever I want my avi to have perfect match of hair and clothing colors. That's why I love the mythic and elemental hair.
-Yes, pretty much so. I even keep changing my avi's eyes so they can fit the outfit and hair.
-Used to be, I used to have my hair exacly like my avi's hair, but the paint wore off (it's been 3/4 months, it's only ormal lol) my natural hair is redish-dark brown

-Not really, only when it starts to grow weak and ugly
-Nope, I generally go to a salon near my house or I ask my mom to do my hair or even I do my hair, I do have a lot of things to change my hair, like straighting irons, curling irons and etc etc
-I tend to keep my hair with a hairband and my fringe out of it and some bits at the side, when I had it longer I would do a wierd hairstyle I cant really explai but it looked cool, from behind you'd see sorta a bailarinas-like hairstile that ended in a ponytail on the side, I had it with large curls so in the front it'd give that doll-like look
