If anyone is wondering, thiese Gundams are for anyone. But I'm just showing them off alittle, but I guess you would have to ask Locke. And if he approves, then its a free for all. Ask for any suit and it'll be yours.

Apparently, we're misinformed about how the mech system works here. Let's clear that up now.
Mechs are used for roleplay, yes. However, we have a higher use for them in the form of a Super Robot Wars-like battle system. While the system isn't perfected, it's enough to host some beta stage battles.
While you can freely RP with mechs as much as you like at no cost, to use a mech in the battle system DOES cost donations to the guild(See Battle System topics for pricing). Leowen has also been cool enough to post some information in a new announcement at the top of the guild.
As a basic means of combat, we have some default machines available at reasonable pricing. While these are cheaper to use, they may lack a bit in capability when compared to a custom job. However, with care and financial backing, they may prove to be as effective as any custom job.
For the more serious player, we can have customized machines brought from various Sci Fi sources as personal units. These cost a bit more, and will run you a more sizable cost with power. Also keep in mind that numbers need to be kept at reasonable levels and balance to maintain a level of fairness.
Now, as for what was discussed, we've thought about having some low powered units around for trial runs, for those who aren't sure if they want to invest in the system or not. While these units aren't meant to be permanent (Temporary trial runs, mind you), they can help people decide whether or not to join in with the battle system.
To give machines away would be rather unfair to those who've already sprung for mechs.

Actually, you have to pay with gold to use mechs from outside the guild, even in the RP only section.
Now If you're willing to dish out massive amounts of gold or credits, you could build a mech that could blow anyone away in the battle system, thats up to you. Just know that to make a mech brought in from the outside of the guild stronger, you MUST use gold, whereas if you buy my mechs, you can upgrade them with credits, which, if you do missions, cost NO gold. Personally I think my mechs are the better deal, but thats just my personal opinion.
Besides, the only shops allowed to sell things must appear on the List that I've posted. We wont have any more Mech shops for a while, 2 is plenty for now, keeps everything uniform. If you have somthing else you would like to sell, you can talk to Locke and I and we can discuss allowing you to set up a shop or somthing.
