Like I said in another post I did, (i forget), my mom and I LOVED Gilmore Girls. Thing is, she died of cancer a pretty long time ago. She always reminded me of Lorelai. Always happy & funny. She said I remind her of Rory. I miss her and thats why Gilmore Girls is so special to me. I hate that it is ending because it is like her memory is ending in a way, but I know she loves me and stuff. So I wondering...does Gilmore Girls remind you of anyone special? They don't have to be...dead....it can be anyone.

Gilmore Girls was pretty much just mine. It was a time when I could leave the family and just watch on my own, I'll miss that.

It really just reminds me that it's OK to really love your family.
I'm quite close to my family, all of them. When my friends and I are starting to think of college, my friends want to go as far away as possible from home, but I really am thinking about colleges close by. My friends think I'm insane, but Gilmore Girls did remind me that it was OK to have a close relationship with family.

While Gilmore Girls doesn't much remind my of any irl relationships... I do think it will impact how I raise my kids. Lorelai is such a good example of how awesome mothers can be and the show really displays a good mother/daughter relationship.... my mom is more of a season one Emily...lol
