0Moon_Maiden0 Chaosctrl hmm...sex..I think you can have it when you married! I've seen teens who get pregnat, and they tell there boyfriend...then he leaves her with a baby to take care of on her own. crying (anyways...yeah) I have a friend who's still in high school, and is pregnat. But she's actually excited about it, and her boyfriend plans to be there for her. Even her parents are excited (now) because it will be their first grandchild. I haven't talked to my friends siblings yet-I hardly see them. Her sister is anyway at school, and her brother is studying to become a priest.

One of my friends went around my school one day and counted all the pregant girls. She got like 13, and those were just the ones who were showing.
I agree sex should be saved for marriage too. I pretty much agree with what everyone else is saying about saving it for marrige, relationships that are only for sex are stupid, etc.
I weep for the future too. Imagining some of my classmates as voting members of society scares me.
People in general need to stop glorifying pimps and players for having a ton of girlfriends and a ton of girls at their beck and call[not sure if I spelled that right =P] for sex and selling to other people for sex. I could go on about this because this is one of the few issues I feel strongly about but I'll stop there. [I'm really indecisuve so I don't really have stong feeling on many issues.]
No one kill me for this comment since I know we've got some great gentleman in this guild but guys need to stop thinking of women as sex objects and need to start thinking of us as real people with real emotions and feelings.

I think the thing that causes that is how the media portrays women. Look at magazine covers; quite a few are covered with scantily clad women (and they're right in the open, where children can see them). The thing is, the woman an the cover isn't someone that you can talk to. They're now an image. An image does not have feelings. Music videos, billboards, television programs, even video games are more examples. After a while, some guys stop viewing women as people, and start viewing them as "sex objects" because of these things. Parents aren't exactly teaching their children to think otherwise. Once again, I weep for the future.

I don't really watch music videos anymore because of that reason, a lot of them are scandily clad women shaking their butts around and sticking them in guy's crotches [refering to the Toxic music video by Britney Spears] When you talking about billboards, how about we just take a drive through Vegas, we'd get a ton of women with big breasts laying around in their underwear advertising 'exotic massages' and 'gentlemen's clubs'. [You know what? Next time I have to go across town I'll count how many sexual billboards I see.] I agree there and when people complain about teenage pregnancy and twelve year olds losing their virginity, parents need to take some blame because a lot of parents are very leniant when it comes to that kind of stuff. If I were a parent I wouldn't let my kid out of the house in some of the outfits I see some people at my school wearing. We should just make a thread dedicated to the mourning the future.

Dornkus bobdapirate ive noticed that most high schoolers get into relationships just for the purpose of sex. i, personally, think thats disgusting if you need to "do" you girlfriend/boyfriend just to show that you "love" each other. if you have to have sex with your girlfriend/boyfriend to show you "love" them, you don't deserve to be going out with them, let alone anyone else for that matter. me, i just stick to being the nice guy that i am and actually treating my girlfriend like an actual person, not something i can have sex with when ever i want (and i agree with everyone else in that sex should be saved for after marriage) if i go out with a girl, itll be becuase i actually like her, not because i like her butt or breasts, i actually couldnt care less about those features, but because i feel that i have something in common with her. i was brought up to be a gentleman, i hold a door open for a girl, let them go first in line, and just treat them like they're an actual person. but this is from the point-of-view of a 15 year-old and is how i feel about the subject sweatdrop Nice to see another gentleman. We're a rare breed in this day and age. At least where I live. I don't find too many ladies behaving like ladies, either. I weep for the future. crying same where i live too... and thank you, my grandmother and grandfather (whom i lived with for about 2 years, though i spent more time with them then i did at my actual home) taught(sp?) me how to be a gentleman and how to treat a lady nicely

well personally, i think sex is something that should be done when both parties are alright with it, but it shouldnt be monagomous, but more so done as a privelage, and treated as a special thing, i know alot of guys who are like "yeah i tapped that a** last night" and its just dumb. besides, to get a girl pregnant isnt good if its unplanned, ive been explained what happens when giving labor, you girls are worriers, love your mother for birthing you! rofl

I personally think it should be saved for marriage. Many people would disagree with me there. Whatever. I'm with you on that one!! ^_^ I thought I'd sound old fashioned if I said that. lol I'm 18 but I like the traditional way of thinking that after marriage is the best way to go. ^_^ Well i'm a virgin and I'm 18 - but i've never had a boyfrined so...meh. Still, I dont' think that necessarily it shoudl just be for marriage, but you ahve to love someone enough to -want- to get married to them in order to have sex with them -- in otehr words it's for serious relationships.
