Well, as the title says, here's where you post your character profiles to get approved, and so we all can go and see what your character is for kind of person, if we need to.
You will be able to have more than one character, but, please, just start off with one and begin there. xD Then, if you want and we seem to need to, you can add a second character!
Have at it!
And since I'm not awesome and can't edit other people's posts, I'll just tell you here if you're approved or not, so keep an eye on this post!
Those of you who can come out and play:
Chibi_baka (Spooky, Dee) Kamikits (Horatio, Jackson (nope, that's alright. We needed a bartender, so! x3)) Nadil (Jelena) Sujika (Ruka) Karill (Lucretia, Stephen)

Name: Spooky, Bedlam Bird (Lola Street) Age: 24 Sex: Female Race: Human Height: 1.69 cm Hair: Dusty blonde Eyes: Dark brown Looks: Slim all over, Spooky has constantly lightly tanned skin, she simply never seems to lose it, no matter how much time she spends indoors. Her face is rather square, but her jaw isn't too heavy for her build or face. Has a dusting of freckles on her shoulders and stomach. Her hair is kept very short, just long enough to actually lie down on her skull and not stand up in a fuzz; she also has some sun-bleached tendrils among her natural dustier blonde. Likes: Hard sugar candy, sunlight, (clean) water, especially baths and to read. Dislikes: Vampires, werewolves to a lesser degree, people who, in her opinion, are "soft" about the current order and goes along with it, numbly, being dirty. Family: Mother, Father, two other siblings. All but two, her father (who is "not home" in his own head anyway), and her older sister are still alive.
Background: Was 13-14 around the war, and did, like many others, lose most of her family. What was left has long been left behind as Spooky really didn't like the evolution of the vampires' laws. Is now a well-known (if not by her face) outlaw known as Bedlam Bird, having killed several vampires either by hanging them out to be exposed to sunlight, or, in one memorable incident, set fire to the vampire's bedroom. As any acts done as "Bedlam Bird" (propely signed and everything) are done carefully masked, she has as of yet avoided capture, and usually goes by Spooky, for various reasons, when meeting people or temporarily settling down in a town. Few know "Spooky" and "Bedlam Bird" are connected, and most have died one way or another. Even fewer know Spooky's real name. Weapons: A gun (Smith & Wesson), used very sparsingly, and two large knives.
Notes: Wears a silver necklace portraying a nine-pointed star within a circle. Not a known religious icon, and she has thus gotten away with wearing it.
Name(s): "Dee" (correctly "D"), Beast Master, "pet" Age: 20 Sex: Female Race Werewolf Height: 1.85m (6'2") Hair: Black Eyes: Blue-gray Looks: Tall, Dee has ample curves "where it counts" so to speak, and fair skin that tans easily, though that is seldom allowed to happen. Has rather prominent cheekbones set in an oval face and a sharp, narrow nose. She has straight black hair in a mowhak, which manages to stand on all its own, somehow. Body marks: A tattoo below the hollow in her throat, depicting an upside-down triangle with the roman numeral 'X' inside, it's the symbol of the Executioners. On the left side of her face, from her forehead down over her eyebrow (and eye), cheekbone and cheek, goes a vertical line with two shorter, horizontal lines crossing it under her eye, and a half-circle (like a bowl) over her eye. It's the symbol (if one knows it) of the demon lord Marya.
Likes: Raw meat, sex, listening to other people's voices (if she finds them pleasant), pleasing her Mistress by doing what she asks, fishing. Dislikes: People not paying proper respect to her Mistress, annoying voices, smoking (as her nose is sensitive). Family: Mother, father, four other siblings (three of who are triplets), extended family.
Background: Comes from a werewolf family, so she was born being one. Due to her family being under the "protection/employment" of the demon Marya, they all survived the societal upheaval, though it was several years now, since Dee saw any of them. She was hand-picked, as one of several children and adults from Marya's "protected" families to go through the procedures needed to become an Executioner, though, in reality, they were picked for Marya's experimentation with fusing demon essence in a (basically) human body. Dee was the only unanimous success, but not all of the experiment died or were rendered "useless". Dee has acted as an Executioner for five years now, starting up just as the war was dying down, and is now stationed in Cascade for whatever reason of her "Mistress's". Dee's real name has been "locked away" as an operative of Marya, for security reasons. Weapons: prefers hand to hand, wields a mean iron pole. Powers: Due to the demonic essence in her, she can communicate (and impress) her will and wants on other animals.
Notes: Departs from normal werewolf size by being about as large as a shire horse.

Name: Horatio Landon Age: 47 Sex: Male Race: Human Sign: Taurus Blood Type: O+ Sexuality: Homosexual Eyes: Gray Hair Color: Graying Blonde Hair Style: Short and slightly messy, with bangs to his eyes and slightly pointed back ending just below his ears Height/Weight: 6'4" (1.9 m)/200 lbs Powers: None Weapons: None Major Likes: Wood carving, drinking (and water), silent prayer Major Dislikes: The current state of the world, dead silence, impertinence Family: None (Okay, technically he has a father [Matthew Landon, 77 and pretty senile], a mother [Deborah Juliet Landon, 70], a younger sister [Deborah McCallen, 40], and a niece [Eva Lily McCallen (goes by middle name), 15]and nephew [Matthew II Joseph David McCallen, 9]. He's been disowned, though. His family will never appear in the RP.) Hobbies: Horatio, on a good day, can be found sitting inside his store (or sitting outside, if on break) near the town square and whittling down a piece of wood. He has made whistles, frames, small horses... While not an artist, he considers himself to be pretty decent, as he has been toying with wood in this way for most of his life. He also likes visiting the bar and often heads over for a drink after (or with) dinner. Physical Description: Horatio has light blonde hair now heavily streaked prematurely with gray and cut practical and short. He needs to get it trimmed again, as it is starting to get messy, but hasn't gotten around to doing it yet. He has fair, but not pale, skin and a tall and thickset build still with firm muscles from when he was younger. Usually wears a pair of old jeans and a button-down shirt with work boots and a thick tarnished gold ring inset with a round navy stone on his right hand. It was a present and appears to be the only piece of jewelry he owns. Personality: Horatio places a lot of emphasis on personal honor and, therefore, greatly resents the inferior status that has been given to humans as a result of the new world order. He is a shrewd and private man who rarely says all of what is on his mind, perfering to keep it secret. Horatio is very loyal to both friends and ideas and is careful about changing his mind or, for that matter, deciding upon anything in the first place. Property: Two-story building with general store on first level and living quarters on second, aging tan toyota (very rarely used on account of Vampire-controlled gasoline), four-year-old Border Collie named Jesse. History: Horatio was a young man during the war but did not do any fighting on behalf of the humans although he greatly detested the factors working to overthrow them. He had his reasons for not taking action, though he's not about to share them. Questioning him about his past in general is one of the fastest ways to get yourself thrown out of his store. Now he a storekeeper in the town of Cascade. He did not grow up there; he moved there and was firmly settled in shortly before the war broke out when the town was still quite young. He does not speak of his family and it is uncertain exactly where they are or if they are still alive. While he may not have been born there, he did spend a few years in one of the large cities not too far from Cascade before moving out to the little townand taking up the store. Horatio is a generally cordial man but lives by himself over his shop and has done so since moving to Cascade and purchasing the property. A few years back he bought a black and white Border Collie puppy and named her after the male outlaw Jesse James. While not a participant, Horatio pays close attention to movements of any of the underground religious orginizations. Before the war, it was assumed that he was a sort of generic Protestant Christian.
Note on Names: "Horatio" means "a moment in time", which I thought was fitting somehow. More importantly, though, Horatio was a character from Shakespeare's Hamlet, pretty much the only decent person in it (I'll accept arguments on Ophelia and Gertrude, but Horatio still tops them) and the only one who actually lived to the end. Landon was just a generic English surname and reminded me of Labrador. God, I love those dogs. <3
"Conscience is the root of all true courage. If a man would be brave, let him obey his conscience." ~James Freeman Clarke
Name: 'Akahi Raymond Jackson (goes by surname) Age: 30 Sex: Male Race: Human Sign: Gemini Blood Type: AB+ Sexuality: Mostly Heterosexual Eyes: Dark Brown Hair Color: Dark Brown (dyed, originally black) Hair Style: Shoulder-length, pulled back into a ponytail Height: 6' (1.8 m)/155 lbs Powers: None Weapons: None Major Likes: Heavy bass, bring given proper change, listening to more than one conversation at a time Major Dislikes: Propaganda, alcohal taxes, "Lucky Strikes" (cigarette brand) Family: None Hobbies: Jackson likes his work, for it enables him to overhear many interesting things. Or it would if he owned a bar in one of the cities instead of in Cascade. Still, he gets to hear the news before most people do, and he is highly appreciative of that. He also likes smoking ("Malboro") and women. Physical Description: Jackson is fairly tall and of average weight, with darker skin and dyed brown hair pulled out of his face. It was magenta before and he's strongly considering dying it back to that color. He is also considering growing a goatee, but doesn't know if it will look good on his square jaw. Jackson's clothing choices change on occasion, but he usually wears long pants. Personality: Jackson is pretty quiet, though he can be loud and threatening if he desires to. He rarely does, but finds a silent smug contempt in the knowledge that, when pressed, is more intimidating than most of the people who enter his bar. A bit of a womanizer, Jackson definitely enjoys the pleasures of the flesh, though he's not the sort to brag about any recent activity. In all honesty, he's run a bit dry. He's not interested in any of the women who currently frequent his bar and has worked his way through a good deal of Cascade's population anyway. And the new ladies in town? Jackson's not crazy enough to get involved with an enforcer (doesn't look like she's at all interested, anyway); he's just not feeling it about Spooky; and holds the (rather well earned) bias against vampires that most humans do, so would prefer to have as little contact with Ruka as possible. Jelena, on the other hand... he might be getting lucky there. Property: "The Singing Nymph" (living quarters on the second floor and a stable around back), lots of alcohol, an old and probably worthless share in General Electric. History: Jackson moved to Cascade with his parents (Melinda Aolani and Presley Jackson) when it was just getting started and they were the original owners of "The Singing Nymph". He began to help out more with the family business as a young adult when his father died of a sudden heart attack, and took over fully a few years later shortly before his mother died as well. He started smoking somewhere along the line and enjoys the slow death.

Idk if you already have plans for a bartender (I know they get placed as NPC frequently...), but I've been wanting to play one for a while. ^^; I'll go back and add more detail to his profile when I think of it. I was more concerned about the first guy, and it's late. >>;

Jelena Meaning: Shining light Nickname: Lena Gender: Female Age: 26 Race: Human Likes: Sports/activities/moving her body; card games; dancing around a bonfire and dancing in general (is fairly good at it) Dislikes: Smoking/cigarettes; all kinds of “inhuman” creatures; insults to her home and their tradition Family: Mother; father; younger brother Appearance: Not extremely curvy but neither shaped like a plank, Jelena does however have forms you can be proud over and a finely toned body and muscles. While she might not stand out in a crowd she is beautiful with a soft undertone of east meeting west, pinpointing her, or her parents’, origin to Russia or thereabout. Her skin, being fair but not pale nor tanned so that you notice it, looks smooth but has a little more weathered feel to it, indicating that she’s not all lady sitting still doing inside work. Eye color: Gray blue, like a sky before a great (thunder) storm hits Hair color: A soft reddish copper, not really brown and not blonde either Hairstyle: Jelena has really rather fine hair, making it not so thick, with a slight wave to it. Often up in a high ponytail that ends about mid-back, she combs her fringe so that more than half lies over the right side of her head, sometimes falling to half-shadow her right eye. She could also achieve a more perhaps innocent and younger look by letting her hair down, it then reaches down to her waist, straightening it and parting her fringe down the middle of her head. Real cute and makes her look softer. Height: 5’9’’ (ca 172 cm) Abilities: Jelena knows and practices the, so called, “arts of the old world”, other names that refer to it is also the “lost arts” (but we would know them as different forms of martial arts and other, similar, semi-inhuman techniques). Through her practice, she can jump distances and heights that seem a bit more than human among other things, but all of this have been learnt through years of rigorous training of body and mind. All techniques originating from the mysterious east Asia, one of the few places in the world that have less to none “inhuman” control, some places not even being known if they’re livable or not since the war. Powers: None (She can, however, use her pendant as a communication device to speak with those of her home, it was created by a witch living in the village.) Personality: Jelena would never really calm down and relax completely outside of her home village because the rule is “if you’re outside, you’re working” and the only safe place for an exterminator is truly that village. She isn’t the calmest of the bunch but nor is she overly cheerful and outgoing, she just don’t have any trouble talking to strangers and knows how to use her words. However, there can be moments that she gets a bit too fired up, especially when someone insults her village, its people and their tradition. (The few that might actually know about this “City of the dead” and the killers living there are old inhumans –vampires and the like– that either hasn’t been killed off yet or survived, but the village’s location has ever remained hidden). Weapon: Thread (not your average cotton thread); small, thin stiletto knife made of silver; needles (that she throws), however, these are seldom used Item: A silver chain with what looks like a simple violet crystal pendant, though if you come up close and look deep into the stone you’ll see something else, some kind of letters or runes surrounding a pentacle. Origin: Russia, “City of the dead” Occupation: “Executioner”, as the fashionably like the call themselves, the assassin, or vermin exterminators, from the “City of the dead” Code name: Shining light History: Jelena was born in the so called “City of the dead” for, truly, anyone who knows about that place and isn’t born there and a part of it is a dead man, literary. The citizen of that place calls themselves “executioners”, with a finer word, or simply “vermin exterminators”. However, due to the new World Order creating something called Executioners, it has become a little uncomfortable for the people there to keep onto that tradition. But what is this place then that “doesn’t really exist” but at the same time does? Long ago, long before the public, or official, revelation of the inhuman races, these warriors, these assassins, knew of their existence… and they hunted them, sought to destroy this scourge upon humankind. Like the ninja of Japan, they have always existed but at the same time not and it is according to this tradition that everyone in that village have lived. Jelena, too, is an exterminator, if you would like to call it that, and she has been raised and trained accordingly, meant to always be the ones who fight against any inhuman threat through time.
(If Chibi approves of this (which I'm kinda sure she will since she already half has XD; ) anyone else wanting to have a character who is from this village is welcome to do so and ask me about it if they have any questions surrounding it. >.>)

Name: Ruka Minase
Nickname: Ru, Feather (no real reason), Silver Flower (taken after her grandmother)
Gender: Female
Age: She doesn't like to talk about it. 23 would be the most usual guess.
Race: Vampire
Likes: Cooking FOOD (not blood), Reading, Sleeping, sunlight, though unfortunately she can't get near it....lots of things, really. Especially the colors green and blue.
Dislikes: Trying to cook things involving blood, not being able to be in the sun, the way vampires are currently running things, and the color red.
Family: Doesn't talk about them, if they are still around. However, it has been discovered that she is the grandaughter of the Vampire known as the Silver Flash.
Eye color: Blue-green, usually...Unless she's hungry....Which, she is rather often.....
Hair color: Silver. Shockly lght natural silver. It has been suggested that trauma-induced stress was the cause of the color-change.
Hairstyle: Waist length, she wears it down, except the bangs. Her bangs look as though she cut them herself at one point, and now hang down infront of her eyes. For some reason, she keeps them about that length intentionally.
Height: 5' 6"
Abilities: She's got the same abilities as most vampires, but she is also quite skilled with a rapier and a pistol, as well as several more old-fashioned types of weapons including a bow. However, she is a bit better at 'flight' than others. She can get slightly higher in the air than most, and also maintain the height for a little longer.
Personality: She's a bit of a strange person, as far as vampires go. She's not particularly fond of the status quo. She tends to let people walk all over her. She has been attacked by other vampires on more than one occasion for being a 'disgrace to the culture' for being so sympathetic to the humans.
Weapon: An old Rapier she inherited from her grandmother, who had been known as the silver flash. It is entirely made of silver, initially intended to fend off Wearwolves, But she refuses to weild it against anyone unless defending another.
Item: She wears a small pale yellow gold ring on a silver chain around her neck, which had been intended to be her wedding ring.
Origin: Unknown for certain.
Occupation: None, for the moment. She is avoiding persuers.
History: Once bitten into a family of vampire aristocracy which included her biological grandmother, she remembered the pain of being human. She watched their families split up as members were provided for feedings. She began to refuse to eat. Finally, her adoptive famliy decided it was time to force her to eat, to save any shame from being brought upon them. That was when she met Ai. He was to be hers to dine off of, but that wasn't quite how things worked out; She fell for him. This, was even worse than her not eating. She was going to marry him, in a church, if the humans would allow it...She waited for a long time, as the humans debated, but eventually out of friendship to Ai, they agreed to it. Ruka got her dress, and all the arrangements were made to protect her from any of the holy relics that might be hidden in the church. However, her family wasn't too happy about this, and thusly decided to have a feast, with Ai as the main dish. They drained him until he was dead. As soon as Ruka found out, she threw together her things, put on a black-out cloak to protect her from the sun, and made to leave. Her grandmother stopped her before she made it out, and appologised for the actions that had been taken: She had argued in favor of the couple, but her arguments were drowned out in the wave of negatives. She gave her grandchild a sword to protect herself, and her blessing, and with that Ruka left for somewhere, anywhere where she could hope to be happy again. Since then, her eyes have almost always been Red, save for when she gets tot he point where without a feeding, her well-being is put at serious risk: Then, she feeds off stores of blood that would normally be used for humans in things such as transfusions. She doesn't like the cold blood much, but she won't feed off the living.

Name: Dr. Lucretia Marrick Age: 29 Gender: Female Race: Human Hair: Black normally tied up in a bun or with a clip. She’d be much prettier with it down. It’s very soft and straight. Eyes: Mahogany brown Height: 5’ 8” (170 cm) Looks: At first blush, Dr. Marrick is the stereotypical nerdy scientist, complete with lab coat and glasses. She is slender to the point of thin. At a second glance, she is rather pretty, underneath the severe hairstyle, the glasses and the coat. Her face has a delicate heart shape to it, with a fair, clear complexion. Her most prized possession, the one thing she is never without, is her staurolite (fairy cross) charm. Too close to a religious icon, she keeps it well-hidden on her person. Blood type: A+
Personality: Lucre likes order. She loves a clean hospital, fully stocked and running like a well-oiled machine. Sadly, she only gets that in her dreams at night.
Likes: Her clinic, though she wishes she could do more for it, lemonade, her fairy cross necklace Dislikes: The current, lesser status that humans now occupy, mushrooms, Family: Husband (Missing) Background: Lucre had a fairly normal childhood, as life before the war was idyllic and peaceful. She got married and began her training as a doctor, going to a nice medical school. Then the War started. Within the first few months of the war, her husband simply vanished. It was assumed he was taken by some dark force or another. But Lucretia didn’t have time to ever search for him. Medical personnel were in high demand, and Lucretia spent more of her time taking care of the wounded. She was never technically awarded her doctorate, but then, no one really cares about that now… Currently, she is in charge of the human clinic in Cascade. Color: Bloodred (#660000)
Name: Stephen Aquilla Race: Vampire Sex: Male Age: Appears to be in his mid 20s Height: 5' 10" Hair: Pale blond, cut feathered with layers past his ears Eyes: Pale blue Appearance: Pale and beautiful, Stephen is reminiscent of an angel. A cold, aloof angel, indifferent to the woes of humanity. Personality: Becoming a vampire changed Stephen quite a bit. He is more aloof now, much more careful with his true feelings in a race that could easily stab him in the back. He pretends to be warm and amiable, but that fire can quickly turn to ice… Likes: Partying (though you wouldn’t expect it of him), Dislikes: ???? Family: Grandfather: Kushai Aquilla(deceased); Sire: Vertu Emory Background: Stephen started out as the escort of his sire vampire, though the two eventually parted ways, both becoming bored with the other. Stephen began to immerse himself in the world of subterfuge and lies, becoming a spy for his vampire kin. Currently he is ‘on loan’ to Ash.
Color: Dodgerblue

The guy that Nadil, Sujika, and I came up with. =D
Name: Abel (Spanish pronunciation: ah-BEL) Veracruz Age: 50 (turned at 27) Sex: Male Race: Vampire (was Human) Sign: Scorpio Blood Type: B- Sexuality: Homosexual Eyes: Honey brown almost to the point of being yellow, ringed with light blue Hair Color: Black Hair Style: Long, in a loose ponytail tied at the nape of his neck and ending just below his shoulder-blades. Slightly layered with no real bangs, the front strands end at his chin. Height/Weight: 6'9" (1.75 m)/175 lbs Powers: Typical Vampire abilities, good shot, very skilled with words Weapons: Two pistols and extra shot (some silver), folding knife, two daggers with one hidden somewhere on his body. Major Likes: Coffee with cream, quiet singing, domination and control Major Dislikes: Real or perceived weakness, repetitious work, God Family: None Hobbies: xxx Physical Description: Tall and lean, Abel is used to keeping his hair long and tied back. He has darker skin, now slightly palid as a result of his transformation. With his fine bone structure and striking eyes, Abel knows he is very attractive and gets a lot of attention. He wears a long dirty-tan trenchcoat with the collar upturned to protect him from the sun and a black wide-brimmed hat reminiscent of the days of the wild west. Under his coat he has a longsleeved, high collared white shirt for extra protection and a pair of long black pants with polished motorcycle boots. His left ear has a single silver stud in the lobe. Personality: Like many others, Abel changed after becoming a Vampire. While he is not about to let on how he once was (and there are very, very few who still remember), it is clear that he has become more violent, more ruthless, and, secretly, more afraid. He has always been determined and with a need for control, but he has lost much of his rashness and his trust (in all but himself). Property: Abel owns the clothes on his back and all that he carries. Everything else has been lost or burnt. History: Too intertwined with the upcoming plot (and untold past). Will be told in full upon request, however. The short version is that Abel was born to a Hispanic woman from an encounter with an unknown, presumably Anglo-saxon man. He left home as a young man and never looked back. He left his city and went to another one. He spoke out against the uprising and was eventually captured, beaten, drained, and turned.

Sujika and Nadil had plotted some stuff together. Sujika spilled some of the beans to me. In return, I was telling her character history and mentioned Abel who, it turned out, was the same character as one of two or three guys she needed later. I finished getting out the details with Nadil later. =D It was a group effort.

Name: Malaki (for current human shape), light (this is, of course, not the actual word of "light" that we're talking about, but rather the idea of a specific spectrum of light, but this is as close as could be rendered in mortal tongue) some cheeky demon hunter during the war and the battle in the city that now is under the ground also called him Lucifer, once. Age: Unknown, unnoticed, unimportant Sex: Male (for current human shape, but since his self informs the physical sex, light's spirit is probably a vague "equivalent of physical sex") Race: Human, "Angelic" Height: 1.69 cm, the same as Spooky Hair: A bright sort of sun-blond, with platinum streaks Eyes: Nonexistent insofar as where the eyes are is where light's... well, light comes through, though since they look like eyes glowing a lot, they could be taken for normal eyes (gives a new meaning to "eyes are the windows of the soul"...) Looks: Very "softly" male, as in, his body is undeniably male, his voice is undeniably male, and he's got some obvious muscle-tone, but he looks, as our society would term it, like a rather "feminine" man. No age is readily apparent, though he'd obviously be classed as reasonably young (anything from early-late twenties to middle-late teens, depending on who's looking and what they (want) to see). Malaki's hair looks somewhat feathery, laying in soft, layered spikes about his head. Those who have seen enough of Spooky would also probably say they were related in some way, but unable to pin down what sort of relation. Likes: Sunlight, nature, particularly anything green and growing, wind Dislikes: Sadists, power wielded for power's sake, or to hurt others, liars, (but this is mostly because he can't really lie himself), violence (though will use it for protection of others) Family: None in the way that we would define as "family" Powers: In human shape, restricted to "protective" magic, blessings for goodwill, protection and "light"; this isn't just physical light (but that too), but the spiritual idea and reality of light, which means it works quite well as a weapon against any sort of demon or demon-afflicted/changed being. Background: Being a spirit/force of "good", but usually staying out of the affairs of the Earth, he nonetheless came to the defense during the Apocalypse (That Was Only Half-Way), being grievously wounded during a fight above a religiously important city. The fight caused the whole city to fall underground, completely unharmed, and changed part of the sea nearby. Has now been placed in Spooky's willingly given body as a way to balance the many demons on the Earthly mortal plane.
