ok...lets see here...
edward HELLLLLLL the F NO! thats just...*dies*
richard...ONLY yes IF and i REALLLY mean IF...he went back to the way he was in the 3 or 4th book...because at that point he wasnt an a** and retarded...otherwise HELL NO
jason...NOOOOO WAYYYY...i see him more as a friend...

jean-claude...maybe...i dont like him...well...scratch that...hes ok...he obviously loves her but still...you dont freakin force someone to be with you...oh and the fact that he ruined anita and richard's relationship...GRRRR
asher...hes awesome...but i dont really see him with anita as a couple...

micah...YESSS YESSS YESSSS!!! OMG YEEEEEEEEEEESSS! he's perfect...in almost every single freeeakin way. =] i really have nothing against him
nathaniel...again FLIPPING YESSSS! just cuz nathaniel happens to be my freakin favorite of all the characters she's been with =D
damien...again...NOT A PROBLEM! =] i love damien as well...so yeah...not much to say about him =D

-with that, i leave you with the following quote-
im dating 3 men, living with 2 more, and having occasional sex with 2 others. that's 7 men. im like a pornographic snow white. i think 7 is plenty. -anita (danse macabre)

I agree that the Richard from waaaay back when was so great. BUT, how do we know that was the real him? I'm sure he still had so many of the feelings he has now... he just didn't show them. That, and they weren't quite that bad. I'm sure he would've still ended up hating himself and hating Anita for not hating him for being a "monster." It never would have worked out no matter how much had gone differently.

As far as Micah... I think he's almost too perfect. There's just something weird there. Maybe I'm too much like Anita, but if something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I think the metaphysical connection is too deep for them to really judge what they have. Yes, they've built upon it, but it's the basis for why they're even together in the first place.

I think out of anybody, she truly loves Jean-Claude the most. One of my favorite quotes EVER comes from Incubus Dreams.

"'Together we are more than we are apart, Anita, that is what love is.'

I held him, and the tears started down my face, hard and hot, and choking. 'Not Anita.'

I didn't have to see his face, to know the smile was there, I could hear in his voice, 'ma patite, ma patite, ma patite.'

There comes a point where you just love someone. Not because they're good, or bad, or anything really. You just love them. It doesn't mean you'll be together forever. It doesn't mean you won't hurt each other. It just means you love them. Sometimes in spite of who they are, and sometimes because of who they are. And you know that they love you, sometimes because of who you are, and sometimes in spite of it." (Incubus Dreams, paperback Pg 421)

I do notice that most of the time when she talks about love it usually involves Jean-Claude like that quote.

There was a part in Blood Noir like that.... or maybe it was two parts.... either way, Jean-Claude is the best choice in my opinin. She truely loves him and he truly loves her and i just wish she would go ahead and pick him.
Micah = too calm with little evident personality
Edward = friend, no more, but honestly, i think they'd be good together...
Richard = I will burn the books if she ends up with that emotional, misguided, backwards, pile of nothing. I hate Richard. HATE HIM!
Jason = He's too young in that he just wants to play and he is just a friend
Asher = He has eyes only for Jean-Claude newho

I'd say Nathanial because he complements her personality type and is gaining a backbone.

Richard is a big NO!!! I cant stand him. (Sorry to any that actually like him) But then again I have never liked Richard. It makes me miss Phillip.
I think Jean-Claude would be best for Anita but I absolutely love Jean-Claude. Ever since the beginning. As for all the others I don't really care about them haha. I think they are cool but they are nothing compared to Jean-Claude.

Well, I've read all of the Anita Blake books and I'd have to say that my favorite is Micah. But as much as I would love for Micah and Anita to get together and live "happily ever after" I think that would totally ruin the books because then something bad would have to happen for drama and then I'd end up hating Micah. So, as much as I want her to be with one man I have to say I think she's better off dating all of 'em.

I'd have to say its a mixture of her closest men.

Jean-Claude, cause like her he is very practical in dealing with life not to mention ruthless when it calls for and they aren't afraid to make that ultimate decision.

Micah because of his practicality and his ability to adapt to the current situation quickly without hesitation. He's laid back and lets Anita be who is she is and what she is. Human servant, Nimir-Ra, part of two triumvirates, federal marshal, and zombie raiser.

Nathanial because she needs him to be the homemaker she isn't and to keep her life on the more domestic side easier. Cause lets face it, without him, she'd starve herself and her house would get messy. He's the "wife" of her group of men, as well as one-third of her second triumvirate.

Richard..I'm not sure what he brings her life other than doubts and pain. At first it did look like that he would be right for her, but he doesn't want her to be who she is and what she is. Necromancer, zombie raiser, federal marshal, and human servant to his main rival Jean-Claude. And girlfriend to many men because of her being a succubus. It wasn't her choice to be, but that is also what she is and he needs to deal with it.

Damien brings calmness when she needs a cool head when the situation is not to her liking but all depends on her controlling her rash actions. While not a favorite of Anita's he is also her vampire servant and the other third to her second triumvirate.

Asher is good for her cause I'd say he gives the most pleasure sexually. But other than that, he wouldn't be a good candidate for a permanent relationship. ( Sorry Asher! )

Jason is good for her because he brings her laughter when she gets too down in the dumps or is just a plain grump for some reason or another.

As for the other men? I hate to say they are just good for feeding the ardeur. But the ones I listed are all good for her in some way or another. In a way that the others aren't. So I don't think there will ever be just one man for her. Whether she likes it, these men fit into her life for different reasons. No one man will fill every aspect of her.

So there we are.

i'd have to say micah because out of all her men they seem to be the best fit and he excepts who she is in her entirety!
