I finished the sixth Harry Potter in four and a half hours. Considering 300 pages of smaller text takes me three hours to read, that's an accomplishment.
Not to mention I got the fifth done in 14 O-o.

I think last time there was timed reading, with tests afterwards to see if you'd actually read it all, and stuff. 3nodding

I did it in three or four, give or take. Someone on da news did it in two.

The question is, do they remember any of it? If one doesn't retain the knowledge of what they just read, it makes reading that fast a bit pointless . . .
And why would you want to read it that fast anyway? I like to enjoy what I read and take in all that's written.

It took me four hours with frequent breaks from getting mind numbing headaches. I used to read Hairy Pothead because I geniunely liked it but now I read it to catch up on the news. He's becoming a real whiny prat.

My sister finished it in two hours and she's dying to tell someone about it. We won't let her though since we're still reading.
