Liadan the Banshee

Basic Info: (This information is constant; it doesn't really change)

Name: Liadan (Lee-dan)
Meaning: "Grey lady" or "grey poet" in Gaelic
Gender: Female
Race/Species/Element: Banshee
Hair Color/Style: Fades from black (roots of hair) to dark gray (middle) to white (ends). Will end up being ankle-length at youth stage. Bright red lock (doesn't mix in with the rest of her hair) where a part of her bangs were suppose to be.
Eye Color: Blood red with grey irises
Skin Color: Tannish-yellow to a light beige

Abilities:

-Keening: Her main ability. Laidan is able to stun, paralyze or even kill a person, depending on 3 things:

1. The situation -
2. How she feels at the time
3. What stage she's in

She is able to use this ability for leisure, although when it isn't used to defend herself, it sounds horrible and can be compared to a cat being trotured. Slowly and painfully.

-Death Sensory: Liadan is able to sense the forecoming of death around her. When she does sense it, she keens, regardless of whether or not she's in public. She doesn't, however, know who will die.

-Shapeshifting (Animalistic): Liadan can shapeshift into animals associated in Ireland with witchcraft. (Ex.: weasels, hares, hooded crows)

-Empathtic Passover: Liadan is able to sense other people's feeling, and make them feel what she feels if the other person's/people's feelings are bad/hostile. (Ex.: In a room full of agitated people, Liadon can release a feeling of relaxation to calm them down.)


Weaknesses:

-Sunlight: When exposed to the sun or anything very bright, Liadan gets burned faster than butter on a hot sidewalk. Days when the clouds block the sun, like when a storm is coming and not much sun is being shown, won't have that much of an effect on her.

Appearence Throughout the Stages:

-Wand to Wisp: The shaft is white and neutral. On the head of the wand is an black opened mouth with sharp-looking teeth sticking out. Blood red splatters decorate the wand, making it look like it had been in a murder scene. The wisp is a mix of white grey and red, looking very puffy and thick.

-Baby: Baby!Liadan's hair is short and pure black, stopping a little bit below the ears. Her skin tone is tanned quite darkly. Her eyes are blood red with no grey as of yet, as well as the lock of red hair is thinner than the rest. As a baby, she has the normal soft, pudgy baby-build. Overall, Liadan looks like a regular, healthy baby.

-Toddler: Her hair grows slightly longer, reaching the space between her ears and shoulders. Some of the dark gray can be seen in this stage, but only at the tips. Her hair is kept out of her face with a headband. Her skin looses some of its color while the lock of red hair grows thicker and sticks out like a sore thumb. The grey irises appear very clearly, if one were to look close enough.

At this stage, colors that sort of "blend in" appeal to Liadan: dark colors like mauve, dark red, grey, and black. Bright colors are disliked extremely. Liadan would be seen wearing girlish outfits (dresses, skirts, blouses).

-Kid: Liadan's hair is a little longer now, stopping more or less below her shoulder blades. It is now kept in a loose ponytail or down. The red lock, however, gets longer (about a few inches longer than the rest of her hair). Her skin tone goes from being beige to a tannish yellow; this will be her permanent skin color.

Liadan still wears the girly dresses, but now with a lace and elegantly-patterened touch. The color scheme is the same as when she was a toddler. At this time, it should be noted that Liadan's dresses are similar to lolita dresses.
