News released May 16, 2007 on WWE.com
Sabu and Vito have both been released from their WWE contracts. There was no reason given for either man being released, but I'm sure we can all speculate as to what happened.
What do you think about this?
I see this as the beginning of the end of ANYTHING ECW ever stood for in it's originality (the Extreme CW... Not East Coast of course).

I actually remember back when Vito was a force to be reckoned with in ECW and in TNA, but they poorly misused him in WWE (come on.."the toughest man to ever wear a dress"..what the fleck! >.<), okay but I hope that he goes indy and builds his cred back up...but no one ever forgets things like that
As for Sabu, Sabu is way too beaten up to continue on with this but I give the man some major props for being able to go out there and actually continue even though his body has been through (and over) it's limits. I also hope that Sabu goes indy (not to mention I heard that CZW needs some talent nowadays) and gets his life (in wrestling) together.
