It is forever for you to think about the open possibilities, I am sure there will be some completion or 8th season thing on fanfiction.

It was a very symbolic ending. They ended it the way Pilot ended. Pilot's ending was meant to be open ended allowing it to break off into any which way to develop a story line. It served the same purpose with the Series Finale, it's a story that could go on forever, but it is how YOU want it to end is what will happen.

Luke and Loreli get back together and Rory goes on Obama's campain, to become a writer. The ending was fine. It was not the "worst send off" ever. rolleyes

it did not do the show justice. it would be fine for a season finale but not for the show. it might have been better if they had known that it was the end. i didn't like it. i felt like they could have done the shortened season and it would have been satisfying.
i thouhgt it was kinda tacky with all the lines like
"im so glad your my best friend lane!" and
" if i think about you leaving im gonna fall apart"
and the wonderful gem "im proud to be your grandmother rory gilmore!"
it wasn't what i was hoping for!

I think that even if the lines weren't perfectly eloquent, they proved how they really felt, and that doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be there.

I personally liked the ending because it left options for what could happen next, and you could imagine all of the possible outcomes, and can please everyone.

But it's understandable that some people might not like it.

I liked it... I mean it hurt for it to end but I thought it was right... it leaves enough room for questions... heart
