Simple Blue Sunshine I definely liked the kiss too. A marriage would have been nice but the kiss was better then nothing. lol Well, that really couldn't be fit in the episode. I loved the series finale. I see nothing wrong wit hit. rolleyes

I think that it ended fine. It wasn't the perfect Finale. One of the best ever was The Wonder Years, they went beyond and went to the future with the voice over. But the set up of the show was completely different.

I honestly think it was a great ending. It wrapped up all the needed loose ends without making more.
I mean, I've heard some complaining like "We need more Luke/Lorelai" or "It wasn't interesting enough", but I thought it was fantastic. It was a return back to the end of the pilot, so it was a kind of full circle thing. Rory was out on her own. You can't exactly make a show without Rory and Lorelai interaction. I mean, you'd need A LOT of phone calls...
As with the Luke/Lorelai stuff, it was perfect. You could tell they were on their way to a happy ending of sorts, with the kiss and the necklace. It was short, and sweet. I think more could have ruined it.
All in all, a very good series finale.

i wish there could have been more of luke and lorelai. and i didn't think that it was the best it could have been. but some of the things that i did like about it, was that all the characters came back (except mrs kim!!) and were all there at the end. i also liked how it ended the same way it began..with the two girls at lukes....drinking coffee.

I cried my eye's out at the end of the series crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying
I loved how luke said "I just want to see you happy." then they kiss *sighs* it would be nice to have a guy who pines for someone for a long time then waits for them to get done with all their icky cruddy boyfriends and then the girl realizes that the guy of her dreams has been right in front of her the whole time...ohh goody...story of my life...oh wait...story of my friends life...woopy stare stare stare ...pardon my bitterness *sighs* Jess and rory should've been together, but all in all it ended beautifully. I salute thee gilmore girls *salutes*
