"Maddie- Maddie, no! Give that to daddy, you can't- Ugh, Madison, put that down!" the phrases and pleas were repeated over and over again as the father/daughter pair made their way down one of the many aisles of the super-market. Constantly the father figure was prying things away from the six-month-old’s hands, stuffing the contents back up onto the shelves (usually where they didn’t belong) as he tried as hard as he could to get his list completed. There were still several things that needed to be gotten to re-stalk their house with nourishment, but the child currently strapped to his chest had already worn him out- and his shopping list wasn’t even half way completed yet.

A groan left the man’s lips as a shriek of protest sounded from the child (that honestly didn’t look as if she should be able to produce that much noise.) “Madison, daddy is trying to shop…” he whined, as if it would help his daughter understand his plight. “I will get your baby snacks an cookies when we reach them.” Anyone looking on usually either found the situation highly amusing (for they knew the father and there for his daughter) or completely disturbing. After all, what kind of person spoke to their baby as if she understood them? The odd looks, however, didn’t stop him, and he continued to trudge his way along the super-market aisles despite his charge.

There were a lot of things that could be said about Kaden, but the fact that he was determined (both in his Game life, and in real life) was something no one could deny. Determination was the only thing keeping him going, as his daughter was squirming beyond all reason and draining his energy dry. Holding a job, going to school, and taking care of a six-month-old daughter was tiring enough- not to mention his avid hours of gaming when able to do as such. Sleep was not his friend, and right now he was regretting the fact. Another box of cake mix thrown to the floor only making his regret all that much worse.

The box of cake mix that had ended up on the the floor was scooped up, then shoved into the arms of the male accompanying her so he could put it back where it belonged. Aderyn ignored the put-upon sigh that resulted from this and kept her focus on the father-daughter pair in front of her. "Now, now, Maddie," the girl crooned in a sort of singsong as she reached to free the child and give Kaden some relief all at once, "let's not take our impatience out on Daddy... Tairitsu, on the other hand."

"Aderyn--" Before he had time to finish his protest, Madison was placed in his arms, and Tai had no choice but to take the fussy child from the female who insisted on dragging him over here. Sometimes he wondered if she had a sixth sense to pinpoint just when Kaden could really use a hand.

"Hush. No complaints out of you. Be useful for once instead of causing chaos."

"Ah, Aderyn, Tai, my saviors..." the obviously worn out male gave a sigh of relief, turning to face the pair with a greatful look. "You two always seem to pop up in the best of moments and I don't know what I'd do without either of you." he nodded a bit to this, then set about pushing the cart in front of him along a few more feet, scanning the shelves for the things he needed now rather then having to worry about the extras his daughter seemed content to add to his list.

Maddie, while still slightly distraught over not getting her way, seemed more then amused now by her company. She gave a delighted squeal, instantly reaching for the man's nose and lower lip with both of her hands. Content babbles (that she obviously expected him to understand) left her lips along with occassional giggles and more squeals. Despite her age, the child seemed more then aware of just who this guy was.
