Seeing as how I'm an ex-scammer, Scam free for 2 years, [x.x;] I know a few reasons.
1. Boredom.
2. Laziness.
3. Tired of seeing other people get s**t in half the time you do because they get more donations.
4. Hate.
I dunno, That's what made me do it.
Not anymore. Don't worry, I was good too though. xP

Ofcourse, people actually sell gaian gold for real money, so they scam, sell it and make money.
