ok i have not had my first period yet and i have discharge and i have had it for 3 4 days and i was wondering how long after discharge can an average girl/women take before she has her period

Is the discharge clear or white? If so, then it is not related to your period. Women always have clear or white discharge. That's what keeps the v****a clean. You might notice there is more or less of it at certain times.
Basically, you have no way of knowing when your first period will come. It might start out slowly with some pink discharge, or it might just sneak up on you all at once. You never really know with that first one. You might even have some pink discharge, then not get a full period for another year. The first one just isn't predictable. You'll have to carry a pad with you just in case and wait for it.
