||First off, I'm new to this guild. Hopefully, you'll all get to know me soon. I'd like that. ^^ Right now, I do not have an application or character bios page. I will gain that tomorrow. So for now, the application is at the bottom of this message.||
There once was a time when Elementalists held their own army. With their powers over the elements, they became an essential key to help gain victories in any battle. They were cherised by their king, Riktor Stelno III, and was often called upon to aid their country, Isaldee, in a struggle. But then their beloved king died, and was taken over by a darker ruler. He had come out of nowhere. The former king bore no sons, and therefore the throne was given to his closest relative. Someone most had not heard of. He viewed the powers of the elementalists as dangerous and reckless. He saw no point in keeping them around, and instead, began killing them off. His dark mages had power enough to keep his rule. And so, the exterminations began.
Elementalists were killed on sight, to blindsided by the assault to flee in time. Men, women, children. All of them. Their dazzling outfits gave them away. But luckily, The Four were in existence at this time. The Four were a group of elementalists, each an adept in their own element, and they created what is called The Underground. With each of their skills working together, they made the elementalists a new place to live. The entrance was in a remote area inside a thin forest, a days travel from the Kingdom, also the Capital of the country. The Underground was built larger than necessary. There are hundreds of rooms, used as bedrooms, which are not used, ready for the oncoming generations. The Four had seen the future, and knew what they had to do.
Power that the elementalists had while they thrived has been lost. The earth elementalists now only have power over plants, and no longer have power over the earth itself. And the other three elementalists no longer have the same strength as they once did. Their immense power has now dwindled. There are still those who have made the rank of master, but there are no longer any adepts. The streets they once walked have been left dull and sullen. But as we always do, the humans adapted to the change, and now a day without any elementalists walking around is just another day. It doesn't effect the people much, the king treats them kindly. He is only called dark by the elementalists, but is praised by the commons. And so, the days where the elementalists were seen on every street has been lost, and the memory of them has seemed to be forgotten.
So now their mission is to gain their power back. It is believed that the dark king has knowledge on how to break into the powers of the adepts, and the elementalists are on a mission to find the document that is needed. They are also tasked with finding out more about the king. Because of the speed on the exterminations, there was no time, and no one in any position to gain any information. The elementalists were herded into their sanctuary to hide, and live. So, they don’t even know his name, so they must figure that out, and how they can remove him from power without assassinating him. It would require a full out frontal attack. An assassination would only put on of his followers into power, leaving them with the same situation. The elementalists, who are now presumed to be eliminated, must prepare.
