Ok so, a couple of weeks ago, we had a spring formal. The police had to come in and catch somewhere along the lines of 40 kids in grade 9 and 10 who decided that drinking was a great idea.
The next day, our entire tech crew got expelled because they got a hold of an admin password and were trying to change a grade in the system. They downloaded illegal software and screwed with the network. The ring leader of the group is said to have had a bunch of child porn on his computer when they seized it from him.
The next day, someone brought a gun to school. A real gun, yes.
Last Friday, a kid brought another gun to school; thankfully it was a toy.
Now it is Monday. What seemed like a regular file drill went awry when all of a sudden we were being evacuated to another building a short walk from our school. After a while they told us we weren't allowed to go back to get any of our stuff. Rumors circulating state it was a bomb threat but nobody really knows for certain what happened.
So now all my homework, my coat, cell phone, mp3, money, and flash drive are all sitting in my calculus class at school, all my books are still opened and there's probably half a sentence written on my page.
It's really crazy how all this stuff is happening at once. The majority of the culprits have been in grade nine and ten... I'm starting to worry that they're going to take away our graduation ceremony, our prom, our Safe Grad... because they can't trust the students enough. And it's not fair.
There are sixteen-ish days left of school. If anything else happens I am going to be royally pissed.
Anything like that ever happen to you guys?
