The forest that has been part of Dacaiana all through time! Abar-eadhain, often just called Abar, is the largest forest of the land. It stretches from the lower south-west of Dacaiana to the northern-east of Dacaiana! Being such a large and pleasant area many wolves frequent the forest, packs have also been known to spring up here and there in the forest. A common paradise, some wolves call it.
Setting
- Abar is quite a large forest, though the densest part of it remains at the south-west end of it. Wolves find much more than simply trees in this forest! Beautiful flowers and other plants grow all over, vines crawl up trees that are sometimes thicker than five wolves standing side by side! Delicious fruit may be found hanging from many of these trees, though it grows high, high above and not much of it drops to the ground. Some of the fruit also grows from bushes, which are a bit more rare along the forest floor.
Several pools of water can be found through out the forest, the common three are Binchu Grove, Pith Grove and Sevenchu Grove. Each of these groves have the three largest pools of water in the forest, which are demanded by survival in Abar.
Weather
- The weather in this forest is usually calm and cool. The trees that create webs of branches above the earth provide most of the forest with shade and little sun, the temperatures stay to a comfortable low even on the hottest days of Dacaiana.
The forest is somewhat humid and it is a good weather for toadstools and hardier plants. The cool weather also causes many of the branches to grow higher up from the ground, perhaps to try and get the sun better. This generally makes trees much taller.
