I'm probably one of the biggest Depeche Mode fans you'll ever know, though I may not seem like it.
I have all of their albums, most of their singles, many of their remixes, two of
their touring DVDs, two Depeche Mode t-shirts, and a Depeche Mode jacket.
I've been a fan ever since the age of seven. The first song I ever listened to was World In My Eyes, and I instantly loved it.
My favorite DM song usually changes from time to time. Recently they've been:

My favorite album is Some Great Reward, just because it's so different from all the others.
My favorite guy in the band is Dave Gahan, because he's a wonderful singer and so full of energy. He's actually quite funny, too. whee
So, yeah, that's what I like about DM, let's hear what you have to say. biggrin

I love Depeche Mode to squishy bits....in small doses.
I don't think I've ever listened to an entire album of theirs from beginning to end all in one sitting, though. It doesn't work for me.

Nice, that you like so much of it. :3
Otherwise, I have found Depeche Mode just...recently. They have some good songs, the athmosphere in every album is bit different and that's the best part, what I can figure out from them. I'm not so big fan, it goes there, where the rest dear music goes as well. :B

They are the reason I'm in this guild right now, sitting on my bed, wearing eyeliner, an oversized cross, and painting my nails a deep color. They were my intro to 80's alternative, which led me to similar bands which led me to "goth". They are amazing. They are GODS. And I cannot wait for the Sounds of the Universe album. April 21st baby!

I just own their 'Violator' CD.
My friend got it as a gift and gave it to me so I could make a backup copy for her, so I ripped the whole thing onto my computer and got the album for free. razz
