After already using the men’s bathroom on the second floor in order to change out of his work suit, Chester Owen sits at his desk, staying after hours, looking over some papers from the recent pop quiz he brought upon his students earlier in the week. He hears a rapping at his open classroom door, and looks up from the stack of red F’s.

“....Mr. Owen.”

“Travis? It’s late, and waay beyond school hours. How’d you get in?”

Travis James, a seventeen year old blonde, short haired little hardbody, walks through the entrance to the room, and steadily walks up to Chester’s desk. Owen stands up from his sitting position, and drops his papers nest to his bottled water.

“The janitor, the big softie, let me in. I told him that I had left my wallet in one of my classrooms.”

“And did you?”

As his fourth period student nods her head, flirtatiously, Chest imagines what it would feel like to sodomize her on his desk with duck tape around her mouth right this very second. He shirks the thought out of his mind quickly, and fingers something in his back pocket.

“Here. Next time someone might not be able to let you in.”

Chester brings out a light blue wallet that is dressed with shapes drawn on with markers. He come close enough to Travis to hand her possession over, and to catch a wiff of her scented lip gloss. He hears it in his head, “Take her now!” But he refuses the temptation, and backs away slowly. She smiles, and begins to leave.

“See you on Monday.”

“Drive safe, Ms. James.”

An hour or so passes by, and the lights above Chest suddenly go out. He ventures outside of his classroom only to discover that every light in the high school has either gone dim, or has completely shut off. Moaning is heard, coming from the downstairs boiler room. Owen decides that it’s in his duty to investigate. A harsh yelling of a grown man encases the hallway leading to the basement door. It sounds like the janitor. Chester opens the door, and runs down the stairs quickly. He darts onto the graphic scene of the black and portly custodian being ripped apart by other humans....but these aren’t ordinary humans. Their skin is gray like the ash of a bonfire, and they smell like rotting cow’s meat. Chest sees a box on the wall to his left that contains an axe and reads “IN CASE OF FIRE”. Owen jams his left elbow into the glass, shattering it all over the floor, cutting himself a bit. After ripping the axe from the wall, Chester grips the weapon tightly and begins to hammer it down into the body of each of the flesh eaters. After laying the horrid ravagers out onto the ground, Chest darts back up the stairs. Upon re-entering the school hallway, more and more stumbling mutant like humans begin to flood his vision. Keeping the axe in his grasp, Owen swings rapidly, making a pathway for himself through the sea of monsters. Chest makes it to the front double doors, and pushes them open without haste. He flees into the parking lot, noticing that more of these creatures begin to approach him. Owen stops in front of his car, a gold Mazda 626, and quickly fuddles the key into the slot. He jumps into the driver’s seat, sticks the ignition into gear, and quickly burns out, storming away from the parking lot.

*BOOM*

Chester hits something real hard, so he stops his car, and quickly exits to see what in the hell he just smashed into.
