Less of a location than a group of people devoted to removing the current theocracy from power and returning America to it's former glory. They move frequently, but are not unknown to the current Church.
Their leader is a man of mystery, who leaves behind letter in full which his assistants, whom rarely see him, give instruction by. He is known as 'The Minstrel of Truth' but no one, save but himself, knows his true identity. It is rumored that he has a gauntlet similiar to The Archbishops, in fact, identical except for the fact that it resides upon his left hand.
The Church has deep connections with the occult, and as such, most of their defenses are magical. It is frequent that one of the Clerical patrols will come across a rumored 'Hallowed Ground' (which is what Newchurchsman call temple sites) only to have the ground cave out from under them, closing up as the last of them fall through.
That isn't to say that the church is without physical defense. Their numbers were rumored to be around four thousand nation wide, with the largest regiment of three hundred stationed in boston throughout the city.
