DemonLadySesshomaru Sesshomaru would NEVER have anything to do with Kagome or any other human. Get that one straight. The only human other than Rin he ever felt any emotion towards was Sara, and since he had to destroy her to save her soul, I don't think he will ever mate... unless, as previously said, it's with ME! ok seriously get off it. were talking about couples that could like you know actually happen. and other people are entitled to their opinions too. seriously i bet every girl here [[and a couple guys] would like to have fluffy to themselves. but face it majority wise kagXsess is a hit. its even as popular as kaguraXsess personally i like either one

Sesshoumaru x Sara - no dice, as she does not exist in the actual story. Sesshoumaru x Rin - no dice, either. As though Sesshoumaru does tolerate humans (and no doubt loves Rin), the love he has for her is that of a paternal love, nothing more. And tolerating humans does not mean he's suddenly pro-hanyou. Sesshoumaru x Kagura - about the only one that actually stood a fair chance at happening (if Kagura had lived, that is). She is the only one that Sesshoumaru had shown to have possible romantic feelings for in the entire series. Sesshoumaru x Kagome - Seriously, has never happened and will never happen. There is no indication whatsoever that these two share anything more than a barely tolerated acknowledgement of one another's existance. Again - there is no evidence whatsoever that such a pairing stood even the most remote of chances of ever happening inside the canon universe. Kagome loves Inuyasha (and vise versa) and the only one Sesshoumaru stood a chance at loving romantically is dead - end of story.

Fireball96740 kaze no sakura [i-talk-with-a-lisp] my whole stance on kag/sess is odd i think. in the anime i want kagome to end up with inuyasha(but i thinks its because i have been devoted to that relationship since the begining) but in any other situation (mainly fanfiction) i support kag/sess, but usually kagome isnt as anoying in those stories, and i think its just because i put myself in her place when i read those (muahaha love). so in the anime and as the ACTUAL sotryline goes, i dont think sesshomaru should end up with anyone(dont like kargura/sess pairing) and he should be just a father figure to rin...and for him to kill jaken I find that most of the fan fics I read regarding the Sesshoumaru/Kagome pairing are poorly planned and are ridden with grammatical and spelling errors. There are a lot of good and well written fanfictions for the Kagome/Sesshomaru pairing, you just have to look for them. 3nodding Oh I'm well aware of this. I've read my fair share of Sesshoumaru/Kagome fanfics. And though they were nice, that was four years ago, back before the S/K fics went batshit crazy and flooded the crap out of FF.net to the point of annoyance. And as much as I like well-written stories, I like well-written-fanfiction-wherein-characters-are-not-OOC-and-not altered. "Tales from the House of Moon" would have been a great story if it was original fiction, because Sesshoumaru and Kagome were really OOC in it. I'll give it credit that it was beautifully written but Sesshoumaru bowing down to Kagome? No. Just, no. There was another story called "Protectors" (I think) which was also great with its content, but there were many elements in that story that just made me frown and discontinue reading it. Not only had the author altered both Kagome's nationality and her ethnicity but she even went as far as to change the color of her eyes. Of course, had the author replaced Kagome with an OC, I probably would have continued reading it, because the descriptions were great and the plot was indeed thicker than molasses. But just that in itself was enough for me to turn away. Finally, there was another Sesshoumaru/Kagome fic--again, well written and even humorous--which I actually managed to finish because it was short. What put me off about this one was all the Kikyou bashing that went on in the story. So yeah, I've had my fair share of well-written but often times not so well thought-out Sesshoumaru/Kagome fanfiction. I can be considered something of a canon semi-purist because if an OC is written out beautifully without messing around too much with the canonical facts, I am more than happy to read about them. To make the long story short, if you want to pair two existing characters together, make it canon. If you want to mess around with canon, pick an OC. Unfortunately as it is, I have yet to find a good OC fic in the world of Inuyasha fanfiction. crying
