I want to know why this guild should only be specifically for video games. I'm 100% positive that there are many girls who are into more as far as technology. I'm sure that many girls have opened up their computer chassis and replaced a malfunctioning RAM module, or added an extra hard drive, and I wouldn't be surprised if guys like myself aren't the only sex that compile Linux packages on a regular basis.
I think that this guild should expand from "Gamer Chicks" to something such as "Click Chicks" and include all aspects of hardware, software, firmware, and other technology.

I don't think it should go as far as to change the name of the guild but there could be a sub forum...but I'm not a mod so I'll leave that up to celes or somthin.

I agree with Groovin Magic on this point.
I wouldn't think of changing the guild name...it was founded as a safe haven for specifically video-gaming chicks. Member levels of tech savviness vary.
So it would probably be best to create a sub forum.
Let's see what Celes has to say about this.

we totally have enough gold in the account for a subforum for it but like everyone else say that we have to run it by celes.

well, in all honesty, I don't see how the two are related at all, asside from the fact that some games are for the PC only. But personaly I can hardly get through an upgrade without having to call my nerd of a friend who can build a computer from the ground up twice over. (( no offence ment by the nerd statement... it is his self-proclaimed title))
But... Click chicks does have a catchy ring to it....
Still no, I joined for games and I will have games and not computers! 3nodding (( unless you mean computer games... thats another story))

Personally I'm a gamer, and just a gamer. Asides from stuff I need to know how to work for school like...WORD I know very little about computers. sweatdrop The only PC game I have is Knights of the Old Republic. Ultimately though it's up to Celes.

I'm not sure how easy or hard it might be to change the title of a Guild. Also, the mods would have to change the aspect of it too, baecause the whole concept of the guild would have changed.
And Gaming doesn't necessarily mean just the games; it could include the game systems, gaming items, game producing companies, experiences and quirks in games, cheats and the like, and other things. Someone could talk about how they broke their PS2 then torn it apart because they were bored--it would still count as gaming.

although the idea is def. a cool one i dont know that it would work in the guild as a name change OR a subforum even. in fact i def. feel that you should go out and get the 20000G (or however much it is) and start up an entire new guild. I know it would be a success, and hell, if it worked out i would be one of the first to join; and even help in running it if you needed me to.
but to say that you would change up what celes has worked on here just doesnt quite flow as well with me as it might with others. celes designed this thread on the intent of getting female gamers, and male gamers who arent too pig-headed to realize that we arent the only people out there who play games, together to talk about video games, systems, etc. etc. i dont really think that the latest camera or mp3 would quite come into effect as well with this guild unless the thread read something dumb like "what would be the bes mp3 player to get so i can have a million pics of cloud on there to stare at all the time to the theme song of ffVII?" or "which will give me the clearer picture of my gay/yaoi romp between sora and riku?" and if i ever see that last one on here i might actually hunt some people down and kill them!!!!!LOL!
but essentially i think this would be an awesome guild on it's own, just not so awesome inside another one.

I think we should keep this to a subforum or a whole new guild that Gamer Chicks are affiliated with.
And i would join that guild too!
