They will speak in text talk all day during school, they will actually say something like "Lol, su tht iz 2 mch 4 m!" It's pretty scary and I always have to decode for the teachers because I know the most text talk decoding.

That's just sad, really. Shows how much the public education system is a piece of crap, really. stare A steaming pile of crap you call General Education.
If this were to be a post-apocalyptic world, we literate typers here would be the only sane guys left in this illiterate cesspool.

Today they kept saying "txt tlk" words I pretended not to know and they actually spoke for real. It was amazing, I truly did not expect it to happen.

It goes to show you how intelegent our generation is. Computers are frying our brains! *Chuckles* And here we are, frying our brains out. However, we're doing it slowly. They are going about 100 neurons a second.

I've heard a girl go "Rubs in face, Dead!" like she does when she talks online. I think I just stared at her for like five minutes. I think that cell phone commercial really didn't help our cause (I don't remember which phone it was for, but the girl's talking in txt tlk with her own subtitles. They made the literate mom look like an idiot). I say "OMG!" in real life, but that's usually when I'm with other English majors and intelligent people who understand I'm being a smartass.

I say brb occasionally, and then I feel incredibly stupid, because everyone's all, "Huh?"

I made a topic about that in the main fourm title "IDK, My BFF Jill?"
