Nature Legends and Lore: History

Summary: Attained/stole/was given/used [Working] power to transfer over to the human relm to aide in the physical aspects of nature, that humans were still unaware of. Was feared by the humans, so worked in solitary, in an attempt to set an example for the humans as to what they should aspire to do for themselves for nature, in secret. He traveled across the world, taking care of the physical forests for years upon years, always fast enough to avoid being seen by humans.
Eventually however, he made his way to Tibete. He became facinated with it, and how the people there were so in tuned with nature, even in it's cold climate. So while he still travelled the forests, he always came back to Tibete more than any other place.
He was eventually hunted down by humans with their newly manufactured guns, as the forests began to dwindle during the industrial revolution. Mortally wounded, the spirit bled slowly as the wound on the earth grew and grew.
When he finally reached Tibette, it was already too late, [add more stuff here later.]
