Drayeion

PostPosted: Sat Oct 11, 2008 11:06 am

Drayeion nodded in thanks, scowling at his sister. "Bella, you hold your tounge for everyone but me. I am offended." He knew full and well she didn't even try to be polite towards him, but yet he found himself agitated when she wasn't. He swallowed his pride, trying not to show how much she got to him. He took his right hand out of his pocket and brushed back his night-dark hair. He pulled his lips back into a devilish smirk, Just wait, Isabella. I'll have a lovely surprise for you later. His eyes sparkled with his misceviousness, knowing how Bella's own childish ignorance would prevent her from seeing his plan. He didn't think he had to worry about Kirus saying anything to her. He seemed to be primarily concerned with himself.

Someone entered the Bar, a Strange Charm around the person, he was wearing a black cloak and had two horns sticking out of his head, two Black thin horns, his eyes being a golden color and having small fangs showing in his mouth, he went over to the bar and sat down to relax.

Kirus laughed low, the noise rumbled from his throat and reverberated softly across the room like a brook bubbling over with blood. He shook his head lightly, the expression on his face was soft and smiling, the sentiment pulling at the corners of his pale lips and curling them upwards to reveal just a hint of fang.
"Sibling rivalry" he commented with mirth "How quaint"

He wondered if there had been such in life, or if the vampiric versions of Bella and her estranged brother had turned them bitter. He wouldnt be surprised, surely any man who would follow his sister into death and damnation had felt great love and devotion to her in life.
Kirus had never had any siblings, and the parents he had left behind though he had respected them with love, had shown nothing in comparison to the light of his sire, and once he felt the sting of death, he gave them no more thought than any trinkets he had left behind in life.

Bella laughed her own melodic, amused laugh and smiled a bright, genuine smile. "Yes, the two of us are an interesting pair. One of us is always on the others nerves." It was the truth. When Bella wasn't angry at Drayeion, he was angry at her. When Drayeion wasn't angry with Bella -which was seldom- the Bella was angry with Drayeion. Bella seemed to be the more even-tempered of the two, though and she could usually manage to keep things from getting to extreme. Bella casually brushed her hair over her shoulder and tossed her brother a sly look through her lashes. Her dark green eyes penetrating his thoughts, sending him a message of Don't you even think about it.

Kirus laughed again, the look that passed between Bella and her brother in that moment was classic. He had never had a sibling of his own, but recognised its traits altogether. Relationships like this had always interested him greatly. For all intents and purposes a brother and sister would feign to hate one another with a passion; when asked about the other they might comment on their siblings lack of passion in anything, or ineptitude at life- names may be thrown. Enemy territories would be set.
If anyone threatens that bond?
Sheer intent to kill.

They were enemies to one another only, any other enemy will be smote.

It is purely acceptable to say that they hate one another, if some stranger were to agree? Death upon them.

Kirus had seen it a hundred times, I hate them, but they're mine to hate and really, that wasnt hate at all.

There had been a silence then, stretching out across the room like spiders webbing. Kirus' smile had faded from his face as if blown into ashes by the wind, and even the general chatter of the unknown faces around them seemed to still for a moment.
He shook it off. Too long they had talked of serious things, and had been too serious themselves. This was a place of laughter and socialising, not of the anger and bloodshed that they had brought here, or at least that had been brought with them.
Kirus found himself shaking his head at the drama of it all. No matter where he was he seemed to manage to find a way to cause a scene. Perhaps it was simply in his nature. His fangs edged softly along the line of his lip, drawing no blood, simply worrying there. He raised one long fingered hand to brush away the tendrils of raven locks from the edges of his vision, to push them deftly behind one ear.
This had indeed been a long and eventful night, and for itself, was barely over as of yet. The sun was still far from rising, and it would be long before he felt the prickle of it on his skin.

Blinking softly, as if to brush away the events of the night as if from a waking dream, he turned, allowing his jacket to slip softly from his shoulders, catching it in his hands before it fell to the floor, and draped it with ease over the wingback of a nearby chair. He proceeded to make his way to bar, feeling heavy and tired in that moment. He ordered a glass of amaretto with a small fake smile at the bartender- all he could seem to muster in that moment of sloth. He mused as he sipped at the warm liquid, of the sins of the living, and if they so effected him, was he damned? and if he were already damned from the demon within, could he sin with more fervour and enjoy it so?
It was a question, or set of questions that he had allowed to cloud his mind on many moments before, and as yet, had never regretted anything his vampire self had inflicted upon the world. He was as he was. He was as he had been made.

The first Night in Gulity Pleasures saw our patrons finding friends old and new, and many events that will likely become heralded as sordid rumours over time. The night was long also, and eventually, the sun brings the demons among you to feel the itch of sleep pull at your eyelids. You sleep.

A new night will bring new adventure.

Snow swirled outside, coverting the landscape in a white blanket, ice draped over the doorhandle as she slowly turned the brass knob. A hush silance met her as the door creaked open, sending a blast of sheer cold around the room, a few glares met her entrance, as the door slid shut behind her, a small smirk brought to her lips.
She stood awhile, surveying her surroundings, veiwing what offerings where to be had, what little entertainment she could draw from tonight. The last time had offered her nothing but boredom, she hoped tonight would change that, willed for a little adventure to bring the spark back in her life, it had been to long since she had revelled in the dark side, to long she had lived among the humans, it was a pleasure to see others like her, others born of darkness.
Moving off, she decended down the steps, filtering through the crowd to reside by the bar, gently biting upon her lower lip in frustration as she awaited the barman to serve her.

Kirus found himself waking in a room wrapped in red velvet, and for a moment found himself transported to the past, before remembering the events of the night before. He was staying in a room of an establishment by the name of Guilty Pleasures. He remembered also how that name had amused him upon entering the bar, he had had no idea exactly where the night would lead, and it had led many strange places indeed.

He rose slowly, and washed in cold water, feeling the ice chill as he splashed his face, knowing that outside of this place, it must be freezing. He picked a soft towel to dab himself dry, and looked with a rolling of his eyes at his shirt from the previous day, ripped and blood stained. He was not a vampire who liked to wear his dinner on his shirt. Any one that knew Kirus in fact, would be painfully aware of the fact that he were one cloud away from being narcissus himself.

It was not long before the vampire had managed to talk his way into a clean shirt from a man staying in the room next to him. He was glad, of course, to have something neat to wear, however Kirus was less than pleased that humans only seemed to wear the most strange colours in shirt, in the end, he had settled for a white one. It made him look deathly ill, but had seemed a more sensible option than the pink.

Eventually he made his way into the bar area, which, on a quick glance, seemed to have recovered well from the events of the previous night. The curtains all hung straight, and any scent of blood in the air had been replaced with something sweet and low, with spice hints of cinnamon and cloves.
Kirus smiled. He need not look at the décor for long, there was only one ornament in the shop worth looking at.

Her skin was like porcelain, and her features painted by Michaelangelo himself, her figure crafted by the finest hands in Europe. And he should know.
He moved slowly, softly, his footsteps lighter than usual, not allowing leather to clip against patent flooring. His hand rested on the small of her back at the same time as he spoke into her ear, his words like sweet poisoned honey. "My dear, anyone would think you are stalking my haunts"

Bella woke late for her that morning, sighing a reprimand issued to herself for not being punctual. She was notorious for getting up early amongst those close to her. She ran a hand through her hair, now tangled beyond normal for her morning tangles. She must have rested uneasily. Why should she have? After all, Drayeion had left instead of staying last night, she should have slept like a baby. She dismissed the thought and stood, looking for a hairbrush. She dug through a few of her bags until she found one, then set to work untangling the golden blonde mass of tangles on top of her head. As she brushed, she couldn't help but think back on her father. Drayeion was so much like him, it was uncanny. And that's what worried her. Her father had either gone mad, or was just innately selfish beyond reason. She cared for Drayeion, weather he knew it or not, and she didn't want him to suffer the same fate as her father, whom she had loved even when it was his hand that caused the white scar at the hollow of her neck.
She gave a contented smile when she had returned her hair to it's former glory. She repowdered her face, and did her makeup back to the way she usually had it done, until it looked as perfect as it had the day before. She looked down at her bloody shirt and sighed. That had been the only shirt she had on her travels. It was so difficult to find one that suited her tastes... She ended up forced into a rather revealing blue dress. While it looked excellent on her, she was reluctant to have that much of her body exposed. She smoothed it in the mirror, then walked down the stairs, a light smile resting lightly on her lips.
