Carefree meets Cunning Whimsy & Harl
She's Cute. 4laugh
Whimsy: *Tilts her head looking at the kitten. Trying to get a somewhat closer look without falling from her perch.* --- Thanks so much! *lifts Harl to kiss on nose* Soooo tiny.
Harlequin: *squirms*
*reluctantly lets Harl down* --- Lol. xD They are so small, You have to be careful not to step on them. *nods*
Whimsy, Shimmies down to the floor before sitting beside Kes watching the kitten. It certainly was small, she wondered if she had ever been that small.* --- They can be pretty slick. They know not to get underfoot.
Harlequin: *sniffs about around her owners shoe, flinches in shock before pouncing on her white enemy, biting and tugging on it.*
... Hey... let go of my shoelace... --- This is true. *Giggles watching the tiny kitten bite at the shoe lace.* You might need new shoelaces by the time it's grown.
Whimsy: *Laughs silently at the sight of the kitten and heads over wondering what their name was... She had only met two canines momentarily.* --- I hope she grows out of it quickly.
Harlequin: *Drops shoelace, uninterested. Glances over at blue cat, curious* --- Thankfully it wasn't toes she was after...
Whimsy: *Stops and sits a distance away, her white and blue tail twitching behind her.* Hello little one. *Though that might not have been the best thing to say.* --- Thankfully. Who knows what would have happened if she caught the taste of blood! *laughs*
Harlequin: *wanders over to the older cat, slightly affronted* Hello there. --- We can only imagine.
*Merely watches the kitten as it came over toward her. Soon laying down as to not seem higher then the kitten.* "hello, What might your name be? Mine's Whimsy." --- *Remains standing so as to have the strategic advantage* "My name's Harlequin. Nice to meet you." --- *Whimsy had reached out to try and catch the ball that had been smacked back toward her, but missed and ended up laying on the floor most foolishly. Shaking her head she got up and dashed after the ball to kick it back toward Harl where it bounced along the floor, the bell ringing most joyously.* "Perhaps you can take this ball with you when you do go home? I have another to play with, so you can have this one if you like." Nods as she had returned to where she had been.* --- Harl caught the ball and paused "Really?" Harl bopped the ball back when Whimsy was ready again. --- *Whimsy nodded as she juggled the ball between her paws on the floor for a moment before batting it back toward Harl.* "Of course, unless your own says other wise of course, wouldn't want you getting into any trouble." Says looking up toward the two humans, on her own and the other Cypress. "It will be much fun, more fun then any shoelace." --- Harl caught the ball and looked back at her human. "I dont' think she'll say no... Let me go ask." Harl took off toward her owner, quickly clawing her way up the pant leg. A few quick moments of quiet conversation and Harl was back. Pouncing on the ball eagerly she grinned at Whimsy. "She said yes. Oh. And thank you." Harl gave the ball a shove towards the older cat. --- *Whimsy watched Harl clambered up to speak to her human about keeping the tinker ball. She smiled catching the ball as it was passed back toward her.* "That's good, it's nice to have an understanding human." Nods batting the ball around before whacking it back, aiming it at an arc instead of a straight line this time. --- Harl watched the ball go sailing over her head. Chasing after it, Harl heard her human speak to her. "Okay!" she shouted, dribbling the ball back to Whimsy. "My owner said we'll be going home soon." --- *Whimsy nodded as she glanced over at her own sleepy human.* "I think I better urge mine home as well before she falls asleep standing up." Giggles watching Kes. "She can sleep just about anywhere I think, it was a pleasure meeting you Harl, perhaps we can cause greater trouble when there are more then just us two." Smiles a bit mischievously. --- Harlequin grinned gleefully, nodding her head "Definately! See you later, Whimsy!" Harl rolled her ball back over to her human and perched herself on her shoe.
Night Kesmi! *picks up Harl before leaving*

The Reserved Meets the Flamboyant Cosmos, Kisae and Magnolia
Kisae nibbles on Magnolia's ear, wagging her tail and growling in a manner she considers ferociously.
Magnolia sighs and woofs, rolling her eyes and flicking her tail as she provides amusement for her kitten friend. ---- Cosmos: *Eyes the larger kynds with barely caring eyes, as it seemed that the other kitten was dreadfully hungry though the canine refused to get it something to eat. It only caused him to shake his head, his twilight wings folding to his back before he started walking past them a bit. The star drops upon his fur almost seemed to glow as he walked, though it was only the shine from his coat, nothing more.* ---- Kisae drops the ear and her eyes widen as she screeches," Ooooh! shiney!" and starts to pounce towards Cosmos, oblivious to the fact that Cosmos was alive.
Magnolia woofs and rolls her eyes, grabbing ahold of Kisae's tail before she can land on the unsuspecting new Sidhekynd. ---- *Turning his head to the side a bit he looked at the young female that had come bounding toward him. Eyes narrowed and level with the female's, he just sits there watching her for a moment. His face looking like a stone mask.* "Shiny? Me?" he asked calmly, barely lifting a paw to look at his dark coat and star drop markings. ---- Kisae grins from where she is dangling from Magnolia's jaws, quite comfortably I might add, you could tell that she spent a lot of time there," I'm Kisae. You're shiny." she states wiggling lightly, her wings fluttering in Magnolia's face. "This is Magnolia. She's my friend!" she adds excitedly, her over friendliness making up for the other kittens reserve.
Magnolia wags her tail in greeting and smiles around Kisae's fur. ---- *Disregarding the human who seemed so insistent upon offering him treats, he turned his gaze toward the fluttering female who looked too over joyed for her own wellbeing. A brow raising a little he shifted to the side to glance at the larger, older canine who was insistent on keeping the kitten at bay, much to his content at least.* "My name's Cosmos." He said dipping his head in a bit of a 'bow' "A pleasure meeting the both of you..." Though he had yet to hear Magnolia speak at all... ---- Kisae fluttered her wings and pokes Magnolia with a paw," You can put me down now. Imma okay." she mutters.
Magnolia raising a brow sets the kitten gently down, she figured it was bad manners to allow the rambunctious fae kitten to go randomly pouncing guests. "I'm Magnolia." she says with a lilt to her voice, wagging her tail slightly in greeting. "It's a pleasure to meet you Cosmos."
Kisae pouts for about thirty second before perking back up and jumping to her paws in excitement," What kind of name is Cosmos? Why're you shiny?" she asks rapid fire, her wings fluttering at high speed and lifting her off the ground a little. ---- *His fur fuzzed out upon it's own accord before falling back into place over his sleek frame as he watched he pair. His ears twitched as he was asked questions, he whole body twitched when he was asked what kind of name was 'Cosmos'. He could ask the same about her name, but he chose to let that subside like a tide.*
"Reason that I am shiny is cause I tend to keep my fur well groomed, shouldn't you?" he asked raising his head up a little to look 'down' upon her with two toned eyes. "As for my name it was has to do with were I believe I'm from, that answer enough for your quick tongue?" he questioned while answering all questions in question. ----
Magnolia hides a smile behind her paw before settling back down on her side, apparently ready to resume napping. "Hope you manage to stick around Cosmos." she says with a smile knowing that Kisae could drive the most patient animal crazy when she tried.
Kisae on the other hand was completely oblivious to the twitches though she seemed fascinated by the fur that had so recently fuzzed out. "No..... not that kind of shiny Cosmos." she says with authority. "It's more like you're sparkly. Which does answer the question since it relfects your name." she rambles on, inching closer to the other kitten, she desperately wanted to play but didn't want to be caught by Magnolia again, after all no matter how her doggy guardian lazed about Magnolia was quick as lightning when she needed to be. "I do keep my fur well groomed. I just like to play and what's play without getting a little dirty eh?" she asks with a chuckle. ---- *He only watched Kisae as she inched toward him, not quite moving just yet as he let what she had said roll over him like a wave. Nose twitching as he soon backed up a step and sat down again he wanted to keep some distance between them. If that was possible, he didn't know, this one seemed to want to play more then talk. And playing wasn't one of his... Hobbies...*
"I wouldn't know the meaning of playing, as it is, it seems like a feinted fantasy of a young mind who has nothing else to do." He spoke rather blandly acting more like a grown up instead of the kitten he looked. "Try catching falling stars sometime..." Was all he had to say before standing and stepping past Kisae and Magnolia heading toward where he hoped would be a water dish or something to drink from. ---- Kisae's ears drooped slightly at the obvious rebuff before she perks up again and pounces her long suffering play-toy, Magnolia. "Well I like playing and I can't help but think that being a stick in the mud is a deranged sign of someone that's never had any friends or people that cared." she says from her perch on the larger dog whimsical. "Besides I chase falling stars all the time, but it's never any fun to catch something because then the game is over." she adds before sliding down the dogs side and cuddling up to her.
Magnolia raises an eyebrow since usually Kisae manages to make herself annoying, but instead she was cuddling her. She wasn't sure if she should be uncomfortable or not but she did add," Besides sometimes play is merely a practice for skills used later in life Cosmos." ---- *As if struck by a rock from behind, Cosmos stopped and swung his head around to look at the pair, mainly the female feline of his own kind. Ears flattening back, his eyes narrowed just a bit in a somewhat lazy fashion. A paw still hanging in step, his tail sort of lashing out behind him.*
"That's because I haven't." He said baring small teeth for a moment, before turning back forward and loping into the kitchen area. "I've had no one but myself and the stars as my company for many count of times. It's little wonder that anyone would understand my meaning of being..." He muttered more to himself then to anyone behind him.

Romance? O.o Cosmos & Junsei
Cosmos: *Flutters around a wind chime that was hung over his keeper's seat. His twilight wings beating somewhat like mad trying to keep him aloft, soon looking over toward those within the shop. Wondering what some were up to, but didn't move from where he hovered.*
Junsei yawned from a long nap, blinking around she rose from her spot into a seat. She looked up and smiled a little at Cosmos. "Hello!" She said waving her paw at him with a small, but sweet grin. She remembered him from last time.. Just never caught his name. Now that she remembers it. She didn't even ask. She hopped that he remembered her, at least a bit.
*His wings stopped for a moment and his body dropped an inch or two before they came back, making the wind chime jungle gently in the slight wind. Turning his head and glancing down with his duel eyes, spotting a certain feline he had met only briefly some time ago.* "Hello." He muttered in a stern tone, one he used with everyone. "Seems you're chipper today, even as bleak as it is outside." He announced as an ear turned toward the soft pitter-patter of the rain against the wind of his keeper's window seat.*
Junsei nodded and smiled at Cosmos. "Yup! But I somewhat do like days like these... Its something about them that makes it all romance like.." She looked outside the window and sighed, thinking of lovely-dovey things. She keeps forgetting to ask for his name. She looks back up to him. "Oh! I never caught your name, flying one. Could you please tell it to me?" She asked kindly. Feeling kind of odd, asking for his name.
*Glancing out the window watching the rain fall and splatter against the glass, a shiver traveled through him thinking how cold it must have been out there. Eyes turning toward the female, he let himself drop again, in multiple drops he came to sit upon his butterfly printed pillow, it lay just off to the side of the seat.* "My name's Cosmos." He said gruffly, his twilight colored wings folding upon his back in butterfly style as to not wrinkle in ways to cripple his flight. "My I ask the same of your's Miss Romantic?" tilts his head to the side a bit, though he held no care for romance, considering that it was an emotion of weakness.*
Junsei looked at him and laid back on the seat and smiled. "The name's Junsei.." She said in a cheerful voice. She looked outside once again and breathed deeply, feeling a yawn coming back. She shook it off and wondered. "What do you think about Romantic things Cosmos?" She asked him, in a curious state, having her little head tilted to the side.
"Weakness." He grumbled turning his head away from her. "It's one of the many weaknesses most have. Someone charms them to a fault then, they turn crushing the heart they had charmed and the body with it. I have taken liberties to illuminate my weaknesses, making myself stronger. Romance is just a weakness to over come and crush like an insect." *Rough, he was always steadfast about his ways, he had shoved all emotion he had besides some anger away from his mind. Locking them within a vault that no one could open, until a certain time and that would never happen. There was no one out there for him. They were all weak, kittens the lot of them, even those who proclaimed themselves as adults.*
"Weakness you say.." She looked at him thoughtlessly She nods to what he says. "You are right.. Romance, Love.. It is a weakness.. to ever living thing on the planet.. Everyone has to have it.. Or it wouldn't make a living thing complete. You can hide away as long as you want. But it shall come out some day." She said, knowing that he must be keeping something away from her. "But I.. Love everything and everything.. So I guess I'm overall weak!" She giggled.
*Cosmos gave a snort like laugh before his mask of reserve flooded back into place and he just say there watching the window, his lion like tail twitched just a bit behind him.* "I hide from nothing, I care for nothing, not even the human that considers herself my keeper. Trifle items that can be easily discarded like trash upon the human streets. I have learned much in my time alone before landing here and in the hands of that human that calls herself Kes. Learned enough to know that the slightest hint of emotion will land one into death before the day is out." *Was he trying to scare the female? More then likely, events in Cos's past had turned him cold, cruel and unbending to the whims of those who tried to show love and affection toward him...*
Junsei stared at the male like he was crazy. Sure.. Bad things did happen in her life.. But she wasn't heartless.. I-Is Cosmos heartless? Does he not care for others like Junsei cares for every kynd she knows. Every human she knows? This was a question that she could not answer herself.. But she didn't want to sound mean, or rude to him. "So.. You really don't care for nobody but yourself? You won't love for anyone that loves you back? Thats.." She stopped in the middle of her words and held it back. about to end the sentence with 'That is just plan out terrible' or something in that sense.
*Fur standing on end as he was rounded with questions. Him Care? Highly unlikely. There wasn't a soul on the earth that he could have an ounce of care for. None of the kynd, no humans, no one. It was just himself, then again, he didn't much care for that either.* "Lets just say, if someone were to love me, they wouldn't get anything back. Love at first sight is a myth, it will take too much energy to get me to 'love'. A kynd could waste away before I even show an emotion remotely close."
Junsei was getting really scared of Cosmos. There has to be a way to crack his shell. But she was to angry at the thought that he didn't care about anything. Its almost like a body with no heart, stomach, brain, eyes and everything else you need to operate. Cosmos fits that perfectly... She looked at him gloomy like. "You are a weird guy.. And you are going to be a tough cookie to crack.. But I'm taking the challenge before any other kynd female does!" She said standing up straight, pointing one of her paws in the air. "You are my lab mouse Cosmos.. At the end of this year.. or month.. You will be a changed guy!" She laughed evily.
*A shock wave of laughter erupted from the feline as he heard this female say that he was going to be her lab rat, that he was going to be a changed guy when she was through. Toppling over, his forepaws resting cross ways over his chest, Cosmos continued laughing until his throat became sore and he had to stop. Slight tears came from his two toned eyes as he finally came to compose himself once more.* "Oh really, and just how are you planning to do that?" He asked with a mask of amusement on his face, though it was thin and his reserve showed behind it...
A huge grin creep on Junsei's face. "You are going to be my Boyfriend! Hahah! Take them apples kynd of steel.." She laughed again in her evil tone. "I'm just joking.. But.. I must have some way to make you have the feelings of love agian! I will complete my goal.. You just have to work with me Cosmos!" She smiled at him. She jumped off the seat and into the floor. Stretching and looked at the door. "I want to go outside.." She mumbled.
*Straightening himself up once more, an ear turning toward the rain that still pattered against the window, he only shook his head. His wings fluttering behind him, shaking out what wrinkles might have gotten into them.* "Work with you? Oh I don't think so, And I'm NOT going out there. Don't you know what happens to wings like mine when they get wet?" *Like most his kynd, he hated getting wet, more so because water was death to his wings. He shook his head and remained upon his keeper's seat, his small claws knitting themselves into the fabric.* "And you're not going to be my girlfriend! I don't need you, or anyone else." Turning away he stalked closer to the window and out of sight of the floor. He was going to be as stubborn as an ox if he had to be...*
Junsei can deal with him.. Even though he is freakin' stubborn, She can deal. Its not going to kill her.. The words he say doesn't really mean anything to her. "Okay Punk-a**.. Get off that seat or I'll pry you off.. I'm a tough cat so don't mess with me.." She hissed at him from the door. "And I don't care what happens to your wings.." She said, tugging on his tail to get off the seat and go outside with her.
*A disgruntled yelp came from Cosmos as his tail was pulled, ears laying back, head lowering and slowly turning. What had been a stern male, had become very angered. His claws let go of the fabric, letting himself be pulled backward, but it wouldn't end the way she was hoping. Turning just as quick, Cosmos swiped toward the female with a paw, his other coming from the other side. he wasn't a very nice kitty.* Let go of my tail or you will regret ever knowing my name." He snarled, bearing tooth and claw. His wings fluttering behind him even if he didn't shove off from the ground. "Better yet, better hang on as tightly as you can." *With a grin, one that was even darker then her own a moment a go. Cosmos launched himself into the air, hoping to drag Junsei along behind him, high he pushed himself as the floor fell away beneath his paws until his head just about reached the ceiling. There he hovered for a moment, glancing down, wondering if Junsei had hung on, if she had, he wondered of her reaction... He didn't much care at this moment, he was having 'fun.'*
Junsei climbed on Cosmos back and looked down from where they float. "This isn't funny Cosmos.. Let me--.." She stopped. "This might be a part of his plan.. To kill me in mid. air." She thought to herself. Hanging on Cosmos's back for dear life, Hoping that he wouldn't do something too stupid as of letting her die.. That is Murder.
*Cosmos flinched as Junsei clambered onto his back, minimizing some of his wing movement, but he managed to keep them both aloft... For now... Turning his head the best he could, he tried looking back at the frightened female.* "Oh come now, this is fun to me, what are you afraid of? This?" he grinned letting them drop a few inches before his wings kicked in once more to bring the pair back into the air. "Don't tell me that you are scared, Perhaps you aren't ready to tackle my case of Feeling no love? Hmmm?" *Wings still beating, the floor was slowly come back to their paws, but Cosmos was also moving toward a chair where he could deposit Junsei and then return to his pillow upon his keeper's window seat.*
Junsei screamed as the both dropped and held onto Cosmos tightly. She shook out of it and grumbled at him. "Its not over Cosmos... You haven't won the battle yet." She sighed and jumped off as they came close to the seat. "Ground!" She shouted and hugged the seat. She was afraid of heights. Maybe she should have said that before they took off in mid air! She plopped on her back and stared at Cosmos. "You hate me don't you Cosmos?" She said seriously.
*Cosmos turned his head to the side as he looked back toward Junsei, hearing her shouts about the ground and merely snorted, his wings fluttering just a bit before he turned away from her again. A dark colored, star spotted ears swiveled toward the female as she spoke about him hating her. He hated no one, but it unnerved him that anyone would dare try and change him from what he was. It was like trying to tell a fly that it was a bee or something more annoying... No he didn't hate, far from it, loathed maybe, but never hate.*
"Hate is such a strong word, something that shouldn't be considered an actual emotion. No, I don't hate you, but it unnerves me that you try and change my ways, the ways that I had grown up with, see, unlike you, I had no mother. No one to look up to or care for me, you are lucky to have such things. I am who I am, there's no changing it." He said sternly as his back remained toward the female, his lion like tail switching behind him just a little.

Ding! Round #2
Cosmos: *Flutters around his wind chime, the small bells tinkling gently in the small breeze from his twilight colored wings.*
Koushouku:: -watches Cosmos flutter around the chimes and stares down at Junsei, seeing that she is mad at Cosmos- Hey Cosmos~ Think you could come down here? Junsei:: >>; Man you got some problems mom.. -walks away so she doesn't have to be near Cosmos-
Cosmos: *Barely looks away from the glittering beads of the chime, though his ears did twitch showing he had heard, he just refused to comply.*
Koushouku:: .___.; Stubborn brat! Get your winged butt down here! Thats an order! -isn't in a good mood at the moment and grabs Junsei's shoulder- Your not going anywhere.. -stares- Junsei:: -looks at the floor- You know.. Its just a waste of time standing here.. He doesn't listen to nobody.. and cares for nobody.. .__.; He's like on of those heartless things on "Freedom Hearts" ( xDD Rip off of Kingdom Hearts -gets shot for that- )
Cosmos: *Ears flattened back as he still didn't look toward the pair on the ground. His mouth held firmly closed as it did seem that he was resisting the urge to shout something back at them. He took orders from no one, so his wings beat faster to louden the chime and drown out the calls from below.*
Koushouku sighed and grumbled to herself as she looked up at Cosmos, seeing that he isn't move at all. "I guess I'm going to have to take orders in my hands.. Jump on my back Junsei.." She said determinded. As she started to flatter her wings at a fast pace, making it a challenge for Junsei to jump on her back. Junsei knew this was going to be interesting, she was bored and mad at Cosmos anyway, so why not see a fight between adult from teen. And all teens are stubborn. But Cosmos was super stubborn. "Wait up!" She said as she ran and quickly jumped on her back, they both flew up at a fast speed and Junsei began to feel sick.
*At the sounds of more wings, this was the only time did Cosmos move. he bobbed a bit before diving and moving off to the side, his pace seemed laxed in speed. His eyes narrowed in a lazy manner as this wasn't anything uncommon about him, he seemed to gain many foes now a days... Why couldn't they just leave him alone?*
"Making mommy fight your battles? Foolish, you never seem to want to leave me alone. I never challenged your ways of life, why challenge mine?" he asked bobbin from side to side, his wings beating with fury behind him. "You should leave well enough alone, I've never bothered you and now you both have wondered into dangerous territories, should turn back before someone loses and eye, or worse." He points out, eying the winged female, knowing well how easily their wings were severed and would never grow back.
Koushouku barely listen to what the kynd had to say. All she know that he was stubborn and did like Junsei really much. And when it comes to her "daughter" She will fight any battle. It doesn't matter how hard it is. "Dangerous territories my foot. I don't really care.. Its you the one that is in danger.. And stop all that bobbing.. Its making Junsei sick.." She said in a harsh tone, laughing at Cosmos in the inside, knowing that he is alone and weak.
Junsei was around her mother's neck, feeling sick but able to see straight ahead. "I didn't ask her to fight anything for me.. Why do you have to be so mean to the only whimsy that wants to be your friend! You could at least be less mean to me.. But like you give a damn about anyone else's feelings you heartless jerk!" Junsei was angry at Cosmos, not take anymore from him, like she wanted to jump off her mother and rip off Cosmos wings. But then again.. What if she misses?
*His expression turned dark as his reserve shattered to anger, he continued his bobbing as he moved back away from the pair. Paws dangling at his sides, he hovered around to the other side of his wind chime, making sure that there was something between them.*
"Get away from me, the both of you! Leave me alone, I never asked to come here, never asked to even be near anyone remotely friendly." He shouted before dicing off to the side as Junsei had leaped at him, his wings keeping him aloft as he glared, his fur bristling out like snall needles. "Don't touch the wings, Sever just one from the body and it never grows back!" He said in a scolding tone before turning back to the adult. "Some mother you are, You should know that our wings never grow back!"
*Shaking his head, Cosmos dove under the older Sidlekynd and made a beeline for somewhere secluded, it seemed that this place was no better then where he had been. Dashing under a door upon the upper floor of the shop, he found a quite, dusty old room that seemed to have never been used in ages and alighted himself on the dusty side table he glared out the murky window, wondering why he couldn't be left alone in peace, peace that he could never find... Anywhere...*
Koushouku grabbed Junsei and wanted to follow Cosmos. As he almost killed her daughter in her eyes and treated her like trash on a side walk. And talking bad about her! Saying that she isn't a good mother, she was just trying to help out Junsei. "Oh my god! That.." Her words got cut off by Junsei she looked up at her.
"That that.." Her angry was out of control. She was to far from the ground but she didn't really care because she was made out of steal. She jumped off her mothers back and darted off after Cosmos. Like a ball of out of controlled fire. But instead of running into the room and sneaking up behind him. She slowly peeked around the corner of where Cosmos laid and sighed to herself so he would hear her.
"Why do you insist on pushing me away? Pushing me further into what I am and regretting ever being born?" He asked barely looking back toward the female that had come after him. "Did I ever hurt you in a past life? Or your mother who seems more then that?"
*This time he did turn his head, his voice was soft, leveled as his wings slowly moved up and down, idle as it were, uninterested in running again, but can if need be. Cosmos watched Junsei with a level gaze, though they were a bit glazed over, he didn't really want to talk to her, nor anyone. He just wanted to be a lone and it seemed that he could never escape anyone in this infernal place.*
"Go back downstairs where you belong. Wouldn't want your fur messed up with dust. then you wouldn't be attractive nor would any male want to be around you." yes his would may sting, but he was at his wits end as it seemed that Jun would NEVER leave him alone, for friendship to him was a memory he wished not to create.
Saphira's thin, delicate wings fluttered quietly in the breeze as she flew about in one of the trees around the store. She landed upon one of the thick branches, resting her weight across it as she let her front paw dangle. Her eyes drifted around the yard, locking on the various whimsies that played there. She caught a glimmer within a window pane and her eyebrows shot up, before quinting to see better.
Saphira smiled slightly as she stood, unsure of herself. "It couldn't be..." she whispered, not having seen the young Sidhekynd since their youth. She shot out of the tree quickly, her wings seemingly trembling as she made her way towards the window of the shop. Fortunately, it was wedged open just far enough for her to squeeze through, but she landed with a thunk upon the floor. "Well that was graceful..." she mumbled to herself as she shook herself from head to tail.
Her face froze for a moment, her eyes slightly wide, and suddenly she let out a gentle sneeze. Saphira smiled and flit her wings carefully, moving up to the table across the room to land beside her young acquaintance. "How have you been, Cosmos? You look rather agitated."
*Agitated might not have been the right word to his mind, as Cosmos turned toward the new face that appeared into the room. Well not really 'new' but one he hadn't seen in a while. But he remembered her, Saphira he believed her name was, yes, that's what it was. He remembered her, and boy had she grown, prettier then he had thought when they first met. His expression softened a bit, but his wings remained idly beating.*
"I've had better days." He grumbled turning a two toned eye back toward the white and purple spotted feline that happened to follow him around like a curse. "Seems that no one likes the way I am and insist on changing it to suit their own needs." at this he shrugged and moved away from where he had been sitting and closer to Saphira as if she were going to save him...
As another kynd flattered in the room, Junsei was quiet and quickly ran out of the dusty room. Her feelings have never been hurt before. But Cosmos did some damnge to her. Her fur was matted up with dirt and dust. Making her sneeze and cry all the way down the stairs as she ran past her mother and went into a quiet room that was dusty. She sat on a small set and tried to whip away her tears.
Koushouku saw a blur came running past her and looked up the stairs. She flattered her wings and slowly went up the stairs and saw another Kynd next to him. Was this why Junsei was crying? But she has never been jealous before. She growled to herself and wanted to slap down both Saphira and Cosmos from their place. But that wouldn't be lady like.. or what an adult kynd suppose to do to the little ones.
*An ear turned as he listened to Junsei flee away from them, though he had turned his back against the side to the older kyn that had some. His attention was upon Saphira, he wondered how she had been since they last met, Though in the back of his mind he loathed the idea of Jun and what she had been trying to accomplish. He was a respectable kynd and she was trying to changed him, he wasn't the changing sort... Not after what happened to... 'Her'...*

Cold and Wet Alabaster's Story
Cold, wet, and Alabaster’s white feathers and coat were brown and soggy, it wasn’t fit for man nor whimsical that evening. Shaking his head to free the water that collected in his fur. Even his elegant feathered head piece wasn’t it’s shinning, glimmering self, it had a thin coat of mud and muck caked within its strands. That made the young whimsical even the more down hearted. Huddling under a drooping flower blossom, Alabaster shook again scattering mud and water in all directions. At least not he was a little cleaner, though still his wings couldn’t open and his eyes were almost closed against the rain and cold.
“Why did it have to be so cold when it rained?” Alabaster asked turning his, well what used to be a pink nose, skyward as if it would answer him.
Then there was the wind that blew over the gardens, sending shivers down then young kynd’s spin. The drooping blossom sways sending large drops of water splashing down atop Alabaster. Shaking again his coat turned more white then brown and his wings slowly freed from their muddy tombs. Stretching the small wings he tested them, still no good. They were still too heavy to fly with, pouting the young whimsical sighed placing his rump on the muddied ground once again. What was he to do?
Deep chocolate eyes closed themselves for a moment as he almost seemed to give up on moving as the winds buffeted the grass around him and shifted his shelter once more. Shaking his head, his headpiece looking more and more like its autumn themed self with each clear drop of water, but it wasn’t getting any warmer just sitting there. Giving his coat one more shake to clear any dirt that might have, though he doubted it, dried while he sat there. With a flick of his tail, Alabaster stepped back out into the rain. Oh he did wish that the sun would shine again.
Alabaster’s path took him close to the edge of the gardens where the shop windows often appeared for his kind to see in and at times wander in if they weren’t busy. Perching himself on the wooden ledge, his ears standing tall on his head as he watched those inside the walls. Oh it looked so warm and dry with there, the thoughts made him shiver even more against the cold that seeped through his skin to his bones. So young and already he felt old in the cold rain. Ears drooping as a soft whimper escaped his muzzle, he wanted in, in and out of the cold rain.
Tail drooping behind him, heavyed down by the water and what mud still clung to it. Standing on his hind paws, Alabaster pawed at the glass, digging at it franticly, trying to get in. He wanted warmth, food and shelter away from the cold, hungry, outside world. What seemed like forever, someone inside finally heard Alabaster’s small claws scratching upon the glass. A strange black and white canine came to place itself on the other side of the glass. Its emerald colored eyes watching his, its long black tail swaying behind. This one looked friendly, but he still wasn’t sure as he backed away, head lowered and tail tucked under his belly and between his legs. The larger whimsical nosed at the barely cracked window, pushing it outwards just enough to poke its head out and get a clearer view of the young pup, this made Alabaster shrink back even further along the windowsill.
“Wh… What do you want?” he whimpered, shaking from head to tail, not only from the rain, but fear as well. Fear of the larger kynd that stared down at him with an almost motherly light.
“I was wondering what you were doing out here in this bleak weather.” The larger replied as its head tilted to one side.
The voice coming across as a female, was it really that? Could she let him into the room where he could get warm again? Alabaster could only hope so as he creped shakingly forward, closer to the warmth that escaped the open window. Though his eyes remained fixed on the larger kynd as it too seemed to be watching him. He noted the black and white markings on the kynd, he wondered who she was, more importantly, he wondered if she would let him in or just watch him shiver in the cold.
Fly, as the larger kynd was deemed by her mother, watched the young shivering pup creep closer to her. Raising a paw she watched him sink away again, she smiled warmly as she pushed at the window again opening it still a bit wider, enough for him to pass her and into the warmth. Standing, Fly backed away from the opening, her tail raised and curled over her back, friendly in gesture, she stepped back giving him all the space he needed to feel at ease.
“No need to worry little one.” Her voice came again in a soft whisper as Alabaster walked cautiously in past her, and she tugged at the window to try and close it, but it wouldn’t budge so she forgot about it and turned to follow the small mud coated pup. “You are safe here. No one will harm you.”
Still shaking, the warmth slowly making its way past the soggy fur and mud coated feathers to warm his skin. He stiffened as the larger kynd laid behind him, her tail coming forward to wrap around him like a warm furry blanket before pulling away. Next thing he knew something warm and wet was trailing over his dirty coat. Turning quick, wings throwing themselves open and his tail tucking once more between his legs he looked up at the Fly with frightened eyes and all she did was smile back.
“Something the matter little one?” she asked her expression changing to concern as he stood stiff with fear, ears pressing themselves back against his muddy head.
“N.. no..” He stuttered trying to relax, but he was finding it hard to. “I… I don’t even know you…”
“Oh dear me,” She blinked, an ear flicking. “Where had my manners gone, My name’s Fly. Do you have a name little one?” her head tilting to one side as it lowered down to his eye level.
“It… It’s Ala.. Alabaster.” Stepping back still his head lowering in a sign of submission to the larger one. “Th… Though it’s nice to… To meet you, F.. Fly.”
Fly merely watched Alabaster as he stepped backwards away from her, standing again she walked over to the young pup and nuzzled her head against him. She felt his fur prickle out at the gesture of friendliness. Shaking his head, Alabaster looked up at Fly, his face still covered in mud, he really did look like he needed a bath. More so it was his stomach that made her giggle as its growl was loud enough for anyone to hear.
“Come, we’ll get you something to eat. Then I will give you a bath.” She nodded nudging him a little. “Come on. This way.”
“Fo… Food?” he tilted his head at the mention of it, his tail no longer hid beneath him, but wagged behind him. He liked food, and he was hungry enough to eat something larger then himself. “Where is this food… Ma?”
This surprised Fly and even Alabaster himself to the point that he was glad he was still dirty. Had he just called her ‘ma’? Where had that come from? Was it because if her ways and kindness? It had to be, as she only smiled with a small laugh as she shook her head lightly. Turning she nuzzled against the young pup.
“You are a silly little one Alabaster. But if you like you can call me Ma.” She nodded nudging him in the side until he rolled over onto his back and her nose tickled at his belly. “Now, come on, it’s meal time and I don’t think we want to miss it.” She giggled watching him roll over and bound forward with a little more vigor then before.
“Th… Then what are we waiting for?” he piped, though he still had that feared stutter.
Fly laughed at the pup as she followed behind him as he seemed to find a new energy at the thought of getting something to eat. She wasn’t sure if it was that or that she agreed to him calling her ‘ma’. Either way she still laughed watching the pup as they headed toward the kitchen of the shop to get something to eat.

Arguments and Frustrations (Thread Rp between pages, 1555 to 1559)
-looks at the breeding entries and chuckles- Ovan: Only Adriel would breed with the counterpart of his species....-shakes head- -chuckles again- Ovan: I am serious, if that pairing wins, those cubs are going to have some issues.... Because one is a celes and the other is a daemon? Ovan: Nooooooo....because Adriel himself seems to have a personality disorder. Adriel: I heard that! --- Anubis: *Lets an ear twitch before his head slowly glides to one side to watch the apparent squabbling between the felines?* Pathetic. *Snorts, though keeps watching the free entertainment.* --- Ovan: -scratches behind one of his horns lightly and looks over to Anubis- Well, well, well.....what do we have here? -smirks- Who is the allmighty that turns his nose on us? Adriel: Oh no....-watches his canine friend spot someone, knows that is never good.- --- Anubis: *Lets an ear twitch again before turning his head away from them.* Your kind aren't worth the time nor space. so just go back with what you were doing.
Andromeda: *Lays in the shadows behind the daemonkynd, a growl reaching her throat as lips roll back. This was one that wasn't going to be escaping from her.* No daemon will live with I'm done purging them from this land. --- The rum-colored lion-sized Celes feline stepped in front of the growling canine and let out a roar of his own. "If you touch my friend, I'll made sure every hit is return to you on the double, m'lady." Adriel growled, showing his fangs.
Ovan was about to respond when he heard the exchange, his ear twitch lightly as he looked back towards Anubis. "...Nor does your kind, but you don't hear me complaining." --- Anubis: *Merely shrugs while laying himself down to apparently sleep.*
Andromeda: I haven't a quarrel with you feline, nor of your cowardous race. My business is with the daemon. So back off, or do you wish to become yet another casualty of war. *Steps from her hiding place, her 'armor' shinning even if it were older then the feline.* ---
Adriel hissed, keeping his ground. "My race is not of cowardice, dear lady, my friend has cause you nothing. Taking his life will only bring your to an end by my claws."
Ovan sits down, quietly listening to the two, wondering if his friend really though him so weak. The daemon just scratched his ear. --- Andromeda growls even more as she stepped toward the feline, her own fangs bared. "You are naive, you know not of the war I fought and your race so nicely refused to help against, that 'things' kind. So as far as I'm concerned your race are cowards, never wanting to get your claws dirty. Now STEP ASIDE!" Letting her hackles rise as she looked ready to kill anything that stepped in her path for her goal. --- Adriel growled. "I do not care. I show you that I am different from those who did not help you in your so call war. I will not have you kill he who has done nothing to deserve it."
Ovan yawned. "Maybe I should leave and get the kettle on the stove, Adriel?"
Adriel smirked. "That would be lovely."
The daemon rolled his eyes but open his wings and took off into the sky. --- Andromeda watched the daemon leave before growling back at the Celeskynd "My war was very real. I lost more friends then your one. My whole squad was killed by the scum you chose to protect. He might not have done anything, but it is what he is that makes me hate him. And now you have cost me my kill." Snapping at the air between them, she turned away to leave, but she would be back. "Now that you have chose to defend those that have no hearts, you are now labeled a traitor. Be thankful, you will be of the first to die." --- The feline stepped in her way once again, his head low, purple eyes darken. "You have learn nothing, milady, you went through a war and learned nothing. You must be truly low in intelligence, you are not better then those who killed your friends....." --- Andromeda snapped at the air between them once more as her fur fluffed out all over her body, threatened. "Don't speak to me about being low, if your race helped, we wouldn't have lost so many when the daemons intruded upon the western gardens, YOUR lands. So don't speak to me like that, Kitten." Raising herself up some she looked down at the Celeskynd, her lips rolled back once more. "And I know there will be another war, and when there is, you won't be enough to defend them all." --- "I never said I would protect them all, you dimmed female." He hissed. "That funny part is that you think you are right and you don't even know what truly is going on. And for your damn information, I have never been to the west gardens." --- Laying her ears back, she merely stared at the feline, though not in shock or any emotion close to it, just stared blankly. "You should. Well, what's left of it. It's just a barren wasteland. No one lives there, no one dares to, anymore. I hear your kynd has moved on, good for you. Now get out of my way, you daemon in celes clothing." She hissed leaping over the feline and walked on again, her tail out straight behind her in anger. --- Jack watched Andromeda, having not seen her in a while and wondered where she had been. --- A laughed that would made a daemon proud rumble out of the Celes' chest. "Thank you. Thank you. That's a compliment, milady." --- Andromeda stopped and looked back at the celeskynd. "Traitor to your own kynd, what a pathetic use of feathers, maybe you should just shed them and take up leather. More suiting to your traitorous ways." Snorts at the feline before looking at Jack, saying nothing she just keeps walking. --- Jack wonders why Andromeda seems to want nothing to do with him and starts to jog after him. "That is no way to treat someone you haven't seen in a long time." he said looking offended. --- Adriel just chuckled and shook his head. "I am a celes, but you should look up the name Adriel. I may be an angel, but I bring death. I can see a daemons view of this world because of my origins, because of my job. You believe me a traitor, fine, but I am just someone who sees beyond stupidity." --- Andromeda looked back toward Jack. "Sorry, just frustrated with that pest back there. He was protecting one that is evil. And it seems that even the celes can be corrupted. Shame that" she sighed shaking her head a bit as her fur flattened down some. --- Jack sighed. "You must remember that there is not clear line between good and evil. Some things are just a shade of grey. My past is not all that pretty either. I have always been getting in trouble with the law. That is a pirate's life." --- Andromeda merely shakes her head as she was old fashioned and really believed that Celes were one kind, not a mix of both. This really changed things, no only did she have to worry about the daemons and now celes that forget what they were supposed to stand for. "The lines aren't supposed to blur," She muttered shaking her head again. "Things have changed too much these days, it's not like I had remembered it." --- "You said something similar to me on the day we met. About how the war had changed things and things could not return to normal. Do not be so sad, Andromeda. Think about things in a new perspective and embrace life. Besides life should be fun." Jack smiled and laughed. --- Adriel quietly preen his feathers before running his claws through the tuff of head fur to comb it back. He admitted being friends with Ovan tended to be more problems then pleasures at times. His tail moved slowly from side to side as he viewed the world, purple eyes calm and bright. "I wonder if tea is ready." He mumbled to himself. --- She looked back to where she had left the celes feline and shook her head some before looking back to Jack. Her eyes narrowed slightly. "To me life is a battle, there's no room for fun. I was just a pup when the war started, watched my family fall until I was able to join myself. I learned that there's no time for fun and games, only survival." --- Jack shook his head sadly. "See life as an adventure, not something to be dealt with. Otherwise you will end up hating your life and losing your reason for living. Be careful, Andromeda." --- "I've lived for longer then I can remember. Most my childhood has been lost. I can't go back and reclaim it." She put simply, still a bit frustrated from earlier. "I know my meaning for living, to protect this land against daemon invasion. It's everyone else that have forgotten their reason for living." --- Jack sighed. "Not all Deamonkynds are bad. I know one and though he growls a lot, he has never hurt anyone else at Kazuyo's place. Not even when the kittens were born, and now they are full grown!" Jack explained trying to get Andromeda to see his reasons. --- Andromeda had stopped listening. "So that's it huh? Becoming a human's pet? I haven't seen a human here, ever. Sure I've ventured into their said 'shop', but none have come to take me as their own. And I take none as my own, because I don't need their shelter and protection." Ears remaining back, she now knew why she was always alone, because all seemed to seek to change her mind on the world as she grew up to see it. "Just go back to your human, Jack." She said walking away from him. She was heading home, back to the ravaged lands. --- Jack ignored her and followed her. "Kazuyo is great and she actually lives in the south of France where my Adrianna lives. I've fallen in love since the last time you saw me. And it is great, you should try it sometime instead of forcing yourself to be a loner. Besides, try it before you say it is wrong." --- Ovan, cautiously, came up to his better half, Adriel and looked at him. "You never came, I thought for a moment you had stayed and eaten...." He smirked, red eyes twinkling.
"I wouldn't prey upon flesh of the blind..." Adriel responded with a sober voice the daemon dislike. "You are risking yourself by coming back."
Ovan shurged. "It will take more then her to take me down."
"I suppose." --- "Good for you..." She muttered, not really looking back toward Jack. "I'm not a people whimsical. I'm a loner, always have been, always will be. If everyone can't accept that, then perhaps I should just remain in the ravaged lands where none dare come besides the foolish." Though she didn't aim it toward him. "After you had come and gone, no one else had come, perhaps that's just for the best. Not like I need anyone anyways...." --- Jack looked angry. "I left to find you as you suddenly disappeared. Thats when I found my way to Kazuyo's place and met my Adrianna. I remember the ravaged lands and I believe that you deserve to stop feeling so bloody guilty and blaming yourself for what happened the way you seem to." --- "I had left to scout the borders. Now, I'm leaving to return to my duties, as you should return to yours. I pray that your lover bears you many sons so they can enjoy the seas as much as you. Farewell." She said with a nod before dashing off. the beads from her bridle waving at her sides and the tack rattling with her gate. She didn't plan on returning for a while yet... --- Ovan looked over to the two arguing from his perch shared by his friend. "How long have they been at it?" "Too long" "Ah....we are the peanut gallery." "Huh?" Purple eyes looked up. "Nevermind, human thing." --- Jack gave an exasperated sigh this time. "Sorry Adrianna, honey, might just be awhile before I can get back to you. I need to take care of something important." he said to himself as he took off after Andromeda, barely keeping up as he was not used to traveling by land as he prefered the waters. --- Andromeda could tell that she was being followed as another set of steps fell in behind her own, though she didn't slow not speed up. She kept her eyes forward before turning and changing course to where she had left what seemed like a small log structure. A raft? Yea, something she traveled down here with, but it wasn't much use now. Stopping there she looked back toward Jack. "I thought you were going home. Not like we have anything else to talk about. Don't you have a duty to your lover?" she asked, voice a but rough around the edges. --- Jack smiled. "Yes, I have a duty to Adrianna, and she is a hard girl to follow. But at the same time, I have a duty to my friends, and you happen to be one of them whether you feel like admitting it or not." --- Andromeda just looked at Jack before stepping over the the raft and grasping a hold of one of the ropes that was attached to it. Unhitching her tack, she laid it on the raft and slipped into the harness to pull the raft back toward the ravaged lands. "Friend huh? Well surely didn't seem that friendly when we first met. Not right off," She stated as she pushed the raft into the water and started pulling. "Besides you should get home before the night falls. Who knows where you might be if you still follow my path." Not that she wanted him to leave, it was just close to dark and she would hate to have him miss sleeping with his lover. --- Jack jumped into the water. "Do not worry about Adrianna. She will understand." He started to swim at the pace of the raft. The water was cold but it did not bother him as it would others. "Besides, I am more worried about you. What happens if you get into the deep water and fall off. Someone needs to be here to save your land-dwelling butt." --- "I know how to swim Jack." She hissed looking at him as she walked on the shore line pulling the raft. "Besides, I don't wear my tack when I'm on this thing. Only when I get off the raft and it has been pulled to shore." Not looking toward the water dwelling feline, she kept walking. "Besides, if I didn't know any better, I would think you had a crush on me. If I had been a feline like yourself, things might have been different?" she pondered, letting a brown eye slip over to look toward him. --- Jack had to laugh. "Perhaps, always did like your spirit though now that I have met Adrianna there is no comparision, and I mean no offense. Adrianna and her mysterious ways are always getting me into one adventure after another. Got to love her. So when will you find another dog to settle down with?" --- Andromeda laughed, quite loudly. "When pigs fly, or so this human saying goes. I'm not looking to settle down with anyone." She admitted quite bluntly. "I doubt that there is anyone out there that can put up with me, nor do I wish to settle down." She laughed again, knowing full well that the only way she would settle down is if someone beat her into submission and she would rather die then submit to anyone. --- Jack was smiling. "Now neither of us would have thought this old-seafaring cat would ever want to settle down and leave the oceans and stay in one place for a while, now would we?" Jack remembered how Adrianna all but blew him over and his smile widened. "There are just some people you cannot say no to." --- This made Andromeda laugh even harder, was there really any guy that could 'sweep her off her feet;? She highly doubted that, there were hardly any around that were worth her time. "You were due to have someone whisk you away from the seas, me, if anyone were to come into the ravaged lands and not leave. Perhaps there could be hope, but I highly doubt that, they would have to be a daemon or something and you know how I feel about those." --- Jack thought a while and wondered which of his canine friends would make such a journey. Kyo, a sidhekynd, and Riku, a celeskynd, were both very protective and Ren, a buiokynd, was tough. Though Jack could see them all go to the ravaged land to save a lost soul. He wondered if he should send one of them to see if they could put a dent into Andromeda's thick barrier. "There are some people who would." --- Andromeda had stopped for a moment, though the current of the water pulled at the raft she remained strong and unbudging. "I dare any of them to try. I bet they would see the ravaged lands and run the other way." She stomped a paw before walking again, the harness pulling at her shoulders a bit, but she wouldn't let the raft go, nor the tack that laid upon it. "So bring it, we'd see who would stay and who would flee, there's more to those lands then just being ravaged." --- Jack laughed. "Well do you want me too send a protective type or a tough guy. Take your pick and I will send them to you the next time I see them." Jack was laughing, knowing that if he wanted them to go, they would, and probably thank him for it too. He had to say he loved his friends. --- "I would like to see anyone try. I doubt they would last long." She huffed slightly. "Something will come up and they will flee with their tails between their legs." Shrugging lightly she yanked the raft back to shore and tugged her tack off it and leaned it against a tree base. "Anyways, I won't be making it back to the ravaged lands until morning, as for now. I'm going to bed. Do whatever you like." She yawned tugging the blanket from its place and somehow covering herself with the fabric and leaning against the saddle as a pillow and slowly falls asleep. --- Jack smiles. "I wonder if she would prefer sidhekynd, celeskynd, or a buiokynd dog. Well, perhaps I should send Kyo. He is always loyal." With that Jack settled down nearby in a shallow end of the water. He could still see Andromeda should she try to leave without him and closed his eyes as he drifted off to sleep.

Got what it takes? Andromeda: *Snorts,* Cause we're more superior then the felines, in some things at least. --- Jack laughes. "You may think that pup but us felines have a lot of tricks that we haven't shown you just yet." He had a smile on his face. "There is more to us than meets the eyes. Why do you think pharohs were in fear and awe of us? --- Ovan: Is there something she doesn't pick a fight about? Adriel: -shrugs and waves a flag- Ovan: -raises an eyebrow at the flag- Adriel: I am not going to answer on the risk that I might be beaten up by a certain female Ovan: -laughs-We aren't takling about miss grumpy pants over there are we... Adriel: No --- Amdromeda: *Raises a brow at Jack.* I think you've been drinking the seawater again. Don't you know that stuff kills brain cells? --- Jack laughs heartily. "Perhaps for a land-dweller like you but for some strong sea-dweller who has spent months in the ocean, I can tell you it's affects on me is like drinking your spring water." --- Andromeda gets a playful grin on her face before pouncing toward Jack looking to drive him under the water's surface. "Oh really? We'll just see about that." --- Jack laughs and jumps back into the water and watches and Andromeda falls in with him. Then Jack swam around her quickly and started edging her into the deeper waters, knowing that Andromeda had lost her advantage now that they were in the water. --- Laughing slightly she tried to reach out and grasp a hold of him. "Get back here you." Is slightly weighted down by her tack and slowly sinks as she gets closer to the deeper end. --- Jack noticed the sinking and dived under the water to untie the tack. He struggled with it for a few seconds then pulled it off her and dragged it quickly to shore and out of the water before diving back into the water and coming back up right before Andromeda. "Well that will give you more even ground." --- Andromeda watched Jack for a moment as he struggled with her water logged tack, but managed to get it off her and to shore without much trouble. "If you say so... So where are these 'friends' you were supposed to send my way?" she mused as she tred water to remain in one place. --- Jack smiled then whistled. He had made a little trip last night. Out of the bushes came Kyo, Riku, and Ren, who had been summoned by Jack to help out a friend. They were curious about a dog friend that Jack might have and were surprised to find the female everkynd splashing in the water. They sat on the bank and waited for the two to join them. --- Andromeda looked toward the shore and gave a disgruntled look. "You have got toe be kidding me." She uttered looking back toward Jack. "These three wouldn't last one night in the ravaged lands." Shaking her head she paddled her way back to shore, shook the water from her fur and wiggled herself back into the bindings to her tack. --- Jack just started laughing. "If Kyo can survive Yuri, then he can survive your lands. That cat had too much energy for her own good and always getting into trouble. And Riku is just as protective as Kyo and though Ren is new he has shown he is quite tough despite his small stature.
"Now come on, don't judge us by our looks, besides Jack asked us here to rescue you from boredom." Kyo smiled at her and made a little boy, his sidhekynd wings low against his body.
"Hmm, did she just call me weak?" Ren asked and snorted. This buiokynd was anything but weak and was always trying to be stronger.
"Now, Now, Ren, I am sure she is not trying to be rude." Riku stretched his celeskynd body and sat on the ground seeing that she needed no help. --- A wave of laughter erupted from her maw as she listened to the three talk and Jack explain who they were and such. They were just pups to her in age. Pups that would get scared any anything that jumped out from behind a bush and shouted 'boo!'. He really had to be kidding, these weren't what she would consider warrior material. "Nice to see you, but you are hardly what I would call warrior material. you three would be only fresh meet ripe for the pickings on the battle fields. No matter how strong you 'claim' to be." She snorted looking serious. "And I'm never bored, guarding the bounds of the ravaged lands is more work their your meek minds can comprehend." --- Jack began to laugh harder. "You are still judging them by how they look. Why don't you try a mock battle, you will likely win but you could test their skills.
Kyo stood, "I don't like the idea of fighting her. Not saying I am weak but I do not care much for fighting except for protection."
Ren brighten up. "Bring in on, evergirl. This should be fun." Ren loved battles and getting stronger as well as proving his strength.
Jack smiled. "Her name is Andromeda."
Riku sighed. "I will fight when I have to though do not go out of my way for it. Plus I prefer talking things out but if battle is necessary." Riku stood. --- Andromeda pointedly stomped on Jack's tail as he quite openly mentioned her name. If she had been any other she would have done worse, but having a slight fond to the feline. She couldn't quite bring herself to do anything to the feline, though the other three were another story. Glancing toward the one that was rearing to fight, she bore a bit of fang as she shifted her weight around, the rings that held her tack together jingling as she did, she wasn't looking on removing it while fighting.
"Your either really bold, her very stupid. But I'm sure I'll find out which in the end." She grinned looking toward her challenger. "I have seen more war then you have seen days in your life. Then again, your ind are still new here so you wouldn't know of the war." Her eyes narrowing. "So if you are that eager to fight, then come at me, pup." --- Jack yelped. "Now what was that for. I was doing you a favor." He sulked.
Kyo sighed and went over to Jack. "Somehow I think you asked for that."
Jack glowered.
Ren didn't run eagerly into battle but took a step closer to her. He watched her cautiously, not sure making the first move was wise but wanting to get started. He was a little impatient.
Riku joined Kyo and Jack. "That pup is strong, if he can stay still and not rush into battle at her taunting. She is a good fighter. I can see it in her eyes. Ren is good at street fighting but I don't know how he would do in a war type battle. --- "So Ren is it? What do you know about fighting?" she asked pacing around him, her rail out straight behind her and ears laying back against the base of her skull. "How many have you seen killed?" Ignoring those on the sidelines, she watched the one she was pacing around, watching the muscles tense and how he presented himself. A fighter maybe, but she would soon fund out. "alright," She nodded turning and padding away from him s few paces and turning toward him. "Come at me with all you've got. We'll see if you are as strong as you think you are." --- The others watched as Ren jumped into the air and into a low branch of the tree. Then he lept down and landed hard on Andromeda's back, before jumping back again, out of her reach. His ears went back slightly, and he let his teeth settle into a snarl. He waited to see how she would react. He was toying with her, acting childish and wondered if he could break her cool. "Why should I need to kill to fight?" --- Watching him carefully, she rolled to one side when he had leaped at her before getting back to her feet. Jaws snapping at the air between them as she stepped off to one side before coming around to have her maw right close to his ear. "When you have lives falling around you, that's all you can do to keep yourself alive, Pup." She whispered before backing up. "Had I been wanting to, you would be laying in a pool of your own blood. Eyes glassing over and your life utterly spent. Don't think your enemy would be merciful." Shaking her head she looked back toward the others. "Any of you think you can do better?" he gaze coming back to Ren. --- Jack sighed. "Just don't hurt him too much, Andromeda. I brought them for amusement and to get you out of your sulk." Then he saw a change in Ren's eyes. The pup was getting serious.
Ren snarled and watched the girl carefully, he wanted to win but knew she was way above him with her experience but that wouldn't stop him from trying. Ren bolted forward and used the weight of his body to slam into her side, hoping to knock her off her feet. --- She felt him ram into her shielded side, though the force lifted her up instead of to the side. Came back down to hopefully land on the pup's back and force him to the ground. Ears laying back. She would teach this one a lesson in what fighting really was. Tail raising over her back, normal dominance fashion she remained standing there, either on his back or her own ground watching him for another strike. "Going to have to better then that one," Andromeda huffed, though the blow had been lessened by her tack, she was still a bit winded from the force of the blow. "Do you think a Daemon would be scared of that small front? They would laugh just before spilling your insides about the ground for the birds to peck at." --- Ren flung her off him and snapped at her paw, just her. "I will fight to my death or until I win." he snarled and this time ran under her and jumped, trying to fling her up with the force of his body. "I will do whatever I can to win." he snarls. --- She watched the pup move and snap at her, backing up a pace she lowered her head, hackles raised behind her. "Fight to your death huh? Don't wish it so quick." She stated as he came toward her, looking to toss her aside, Claws digging into the earth beneath them. She aimed to use his strength against him, trying to roll him off his own paws and bring her maw closer to his throat, close enough so that he could feel her breathing down on him. "Had this been real, that would have been your last move." Straightening she stepped away from him, watching him once more, she was barely breaking a sweat, sorta speak, with this childish game.
"If you are that bold, and can stand one night within the Ravaged lands, perhaps you could make it as a warrior." She put simply shaking out her fur some, she was through with the mud slinging. --- Ren bowed. "All I wanted to do is to be recognized for my potential, it was obvious that you were stronger than me with all your experience. I had no chance of winning but decided to try and see how I would hold up. And your lands sound interesting from what I have heard from you and Jack."
Jack grunted, "Silly pup, you know that Ren." ---

Love on Wings (Done over AIM)
The pink celeskynd, had been unusually sad. Her normally boisterous self, had completely given in to the feeling of dread that came with the belly she had grown. She certainly had never meant to have pups with anyone besides a life mate.. But this.. This was all unexpected. She sat at the small puddle, which was the size of an ocean almost to her, and drifted her paw in and out of the water --- Alabaster had been on his own for a while now, getting quite used to being away from Fly. Shaking out his white coat, the sounds of someone else caught his attention. Wings stretching out at his sides a little he peeked around things trying to find the sound, before coming across a sad looking female. Tilting his head some watching her, he had to wonder what was wrong. Stepping around the side of the puddle, he edged closer toward the brightly colored female, a name escaped him... If this was the same he had meet some time ago... "He... Hello?" he called in a meek voice as if almost afraid of being answered. --- She looked up quickly, wiping a tear away with her wing and looking at him with a sad smile. "I know you." She said, voice having a little less happy in it as it had when she had met him. She stood, walking over to him, before giving another smile. "But it seems I’ve forgotten your name." --- Ala stood his ground for the moment, not shrinking back, nor going closer. Well, he had caught her attention and see too was at a lose for his name, but they did know each other? Well, that an almost comforting thought, though she came closer to him a smile on her face. Ears falling back a little that was getting a little too close, but he still didn't move, though wings fanned out a bit. "I know you too, my name's Alabaster. Miss." He said pulling his muzzle back closer to his neck as he watched the brightly colored female. "Why are you sad?" he asked, concerned. --- The pink dog bowed her head a bit in greeting and smiled. "Nice to see you again Alabaster. My name is Persephone." She giggled a little. "But, if I had any friends, they'd call me Persy." She looked back at the ground. Why was she sad? Her heart had been broken by a vain Nevekynd. giving her a sad reminder of what she'd lost. "Im a bit heartbroken I think." --- Alabaster tilted his head to one side as she spoke of being heart broken. Heart broken? He hadn't even heard of such a thing and didn't even know if such a thing as being heart broken. But she said she was, so there had to be, chocolate eyes blinked a little as he remained silent for the moment. "Persy then? My momma called me Ala when I was little, you can call me that if you like.' He said softly still thinking of this emotion called heart broken. "I'm sorry, but I don't know what being heart broken is, but from what I see, it's not something good." he reached out wish his muzzle to try and tip her back up from the sad downcast look. --- She smiled gently. "Ala it is then." She looked to her belly, after looking deep into his soft eyes and then back up. "Ive been tricked.. I was fooled into thinking I was in love.. and when love was material, the male ran.. Im having a baby." She said softly, and tears started once more. "All alone." --- Pulling his head back some he tilted it again, what a cruel thing to do to someone. Fake love then leave? And leave the other with a... Baby? Sitting back on his hunches he looked a bit dumbfounded. "This one that claimed love thought very small of himself to do a thing like that, huh?" he asked blinking a couple of times. "But you aren't alone..." He stood and stepped closer to her, a wing outstretching some in a welcoming gesture. "you have. Me." --- She smiled a bit brighter, walking closer to him as well, hoping to curl up in his pretty white wings and have him forever take her away from this feeling. "You’re very kind, Ala.. Very kind. But you don’t have to stay around.. I mean. " She motioned to her belly once more with a wing. "I’m tainted.. Ive lost my purity and now I have proof to show for it." But he was so kind, so hoped desperately that maybe he would stay around. She needed a friend, and he seemed to be the perfect friend for her.. Even if it was only because she needed someone.. anyone.. to be there. --- "Well, my momma would tan my hide if I were to be mean to someone." Ala laughed slightly as she came closer, his wing folding some as he laid down on the dusty ground, his white bely sure to become brown after this, not that a bath wouldn't cure that. "So? My momma said if one were to judge just by small things, they wouldn't get very far in life. Just cause your not pure doesn't mean that something better can't come along... Right?" he asked though mildly confusing himself in the process of everything. This confusion brought a hint of red to his pale cheeks, before shaking it away and continued watching Persy. --- She held up a paw, her eyes wide. Oh goodness, she was confusing the poor boy now.. And she only knew this, because she herself was confused. Her eyes gleamed a bit, and she cocked her head, looking at him with golden eyes that matched her golden swirls. "I’m sorry, I’m being a downer right now." Normally she was the type to buzz around in excitement, and to be honest, she was slightly excited about becoming another.. "I just wish circumstances were different" --- Alabaster merely looked away toward the pool that laid beside them, his chocolate eyes watching the ripples as the wind blew over it. Looking back toward Persy, he remained laying on the ground, looking mostly up toward her. "At least the pup will have a mother, I had only Fly when I was little. My parents left me for some reason, I never knew them." He nodded lightly before sitting back up again. --- The celeskynd smiled softly, touching his cheek with a wing.. "I’m so sorry.. But at least you had someone right?" She thought of her own parents, and wondered what they must have looked like.. or what they could have been like.. But she knew nothing. "My parents were killed.. I was never sure how, but I don’t think they’d just leave me.. --- Alabaster looked back toward Persy as he felt her wing against his cheek, though waited until she had thought through whatever she was thinking. "I'm not really sure what happened to my parents, I woke up alone in the cold and wet one evening. Fly let me into the human shop and took me in as her own. I really never wanted to leave, but I find that I need to do somthing with myself." Shrugging a bit he looked around again. "It feels like the seasons are changing. Do you have a place to stay?" Ala would hate to see her out in the cold like he was, though this cold was worse then what he remembered. --- Persy's home was a small little nest high in the trees, but it was merely to keep her from the winter days. It was getting colder, and the young celeskynd had needed something.. Besides, she had basically raised herself.. She had wanted to be loved so badly, and to have company so badly, that she would got o anyone.. And she had gone to Vegas. He had been a mistake. But the movement in her belly made her think that maybe it was a good thing.. She wasn’t alone anymore.. "I live up there.." She pointed up into the tall tree with a wing. "But it isn’t very homey, and it gets so cold." --- Alabaster looked up toward the tree, that was very high up. It was a wonder that other creatures didn't come to prey on her while she was asleep, he had heard that there might have been more to gardens then just the whimsicals that lived there. "I have a place in the bushes an old nest had fallen from the trees and I dragged it into the bushes. I have yet to see the wind blow it from there if you don't wish to sleep way up there in the cold." he offered, the evergreen bushes didn't seem to lose their cover in the cold seasons, and were very good at blocking most the elements. "The nest it big enough for at least three of our kind and a couple little ones if we all snuggle together, it's kinda spacey for just myself." he chuckled looking over toward the evergreen bushes. --- She smiled gently. He had said for three. He was thinking of her unborn pup. She smiled again, blushed a bit, but tried to hide it. "You’d really share your home with me, and.. and my pup?" She asked, her face glowing with the kindness she had never seen in anyone before. "You’d really do that?" Her smile was almost plastered on her maw and she hugged herself with her wings. "Oh that’s so kind of you Ala.. So kind..." --- Alabaster gave a small shrug, though nodded as well, he was willing to give them both shelter, well more shelter then the high home. "Of course, You are my friend Persy, and the pup will have to have a safe place too. I can't imagine what would happen if it fell from up there." He said concerned though wasn't trying to be rude. "You are always welcomed to share my nest, I wouldn't mind if you chose to move in and not leave." A grin came to him as he slipped closer and nuzzled up against her.
