I used to have a FF.net account, but I forget what the username and password are!! lol And none of my fanfics are on this computer... they're all on my old one... crying No, I lied... there's one on my literary LJ... it's a songfic for Labyrinth! lol

I've got an account on FF.net, with the pen name Sandstone. But to be honest, I have been neglecting my posted stories, in favor of some of my more whacky fanfics, that need some ironing before they can be posted.
Roy the flame: Slow? Here's a few things that could be causing trouble:
1: Virus / spyware / malware - run a scan for those blasted things. A basic antivirus and antispyware should clean up most of those buggers
2: I'd also see how fragmented the HD is. If the percentage is above 10%, it's a sign that your hard drive needs a good defrag.
