Kaiorin II Well I'm playing with vista on my laptop, at first it errored a lot but I hadn't registered my Vista yet. After I did, the errors lessened, but there may be a difference between pc's with vista as the home OS (Operating System) and pc's who are upgrading to vista from XP. The incompatibility message comes up for me but I still tell vista to run maple anyway and after that it gives me no other problems. After I leave maple on my own accord it does give me an occurring message saying that the display driver has stopped working and has recovered but other than that, I have no other issues.
But Maple isn't compatible with Vista yet. At least not with pcs from what I've seen.
So I guess you just have to wait it out until it is compatible or get a laptop?

Maple's compatible on all Vista's. I'm not sure about XP-upgraded Vista computers, but you just need to change the compatibility and adjust some things.
1) Right click on Maplestory icon.
2) Click on the Compatibility tab.
3) Select Windows XP SP 2 on the dropdown menu.
4) Restart your computer and try running maple.
If it doesn't work, then right click it, go to Compatibility tab, go down and there is a box that says Run as administrator. Check that box. Then click on "Show settings for all users" Then a new window pops up . Then change the compabilitiy to Windows XP Sp 2 and then check the box that says run as administrator. Click Okay for that window. Then go back to the other window and click okay. Restart your computer and then try again.
The only reason it sucks is that Maple Story kind of lags on your computer because it's not officially compatible with Vista.
