Gelfin Iris_virus ((*luffles on Sin* Work is hellll. crying And soul crushing.
Hrmmm.. I have the linearts, but I don't believe I have the colored/certed pet ready for you yet Sine, so this'll have to be the key one only right now. We can rp out the chest openning sometime later, or if you prefer I can just give you the plush when it arrives and you can self rp the openning. Whichever you prefer. :3 ))
-Iris, who was always a bucket of sunshine, was particularly glowing and oozing with excitement and glee today as she sat crosslegged on the shop couch, taking the delicate care to paint tiny spirals on the egg in her hand, while at the same time, a small chocolate bunny dangled from her teeth.
This was important and wonderful work! She didn't have time to stop and nibble on Easter candies! She could just do it while she worked. Hell with just NOT doing it until she was done.
Already a barrage of eggs lay drying beside her, 20.. maybe even 40. Each with some silly little design or color. Some dyed, some not. And on and on she plugged as the morning slipped away. Everyone deserved to have an Easter egg of their own. And if it was up to Iris, each and every velvet AND plush would have one by the time the Easter bunny made his rounds.- ~Sinecura~ ((That's fine Iris. =D I don't mind doing the chest RP later. *snugs*))
Sine paused for a moment outside of a shop door. She still needed a few goodies to put into Easter baskets and this place seemed as good as anything. Gently opening the door, she peeped inside for a second before stepping in.
"Hello?" she called out softly, not wanting to interupt the intense looking girl for her work.Iris_virus ((Intensely crazy XD
Iris' description is on the frontpage if you need it. But for simplicity's sake we can say it's pretty similar to what my avvy is wearing at the moment. Since she'd be all dolled up for easter.))
-The jingling of the bells as the doors jostled them, drew her attention upwards however. And with a shift of egg and brush to one hand, and half-eaten bunny in the other, she grinned pleasantly.- "Morningggggg!"
"Something I can help you with?" ~Sinecura~ Smiling plesantly, Sine stepped further into the shop.
"Morning, miss. I was kind of hoping that you'd be selling some cute little things I could put into Easter baskets."

"Ohhh, of course, of course!" -Setting the candy and egg to the side, Iris slide herself from the couch, not even bothering to rub at the small splatters of paint that dabbled in messy drips about her. It would only have smeared anyway.-
"Easter is such a wonderful holiday! What in particular did you have in mind?" -Usually Iris would have noticed a future keyholder from an instance, but her mind fuddled in holiday planning didn't seem to, and lightly she motioned to the shelves full of natural plushies.- "What kind of animals tickle your fancy? Or colors maybe? Easter is all about pastels I think, and I just ADORE pastels!"

Sine smiled happily and hurried over to the indicated shelves. As she inspected the plushies, she answered the girl's questions.
"Well, to be utterly honest, these will be gifts for my family. If it were just me, I'd be huntign for gargoyle or gryphon plushies," chuckling softly, she gently stroked a small rabbit plushie. Her odd little family would simply love these. "And you know, I think you're absolutely right about the pastels. My family is sure to love these colors."
Grinning, Sine proceeded to collect up several chick and bunny plushies. All in soft, pastel shades.

"Ahhhh, when I was little I used to get a bunny or lamb stuffed animal for each Easter! In fact my uncle, who used to own the store used to send me one."
-She hovered around softly, not really to be intimidating, simply because she lacked the foresight of 'personal space', but made no effort to push the girl towards the counter, letting her pick and choose at her leisure.-
"I'd have continued the tradition myself, but since my children were once plushies themselves, it seems a little bit silly to GIVE them plushies. Besides, they have a whole shop to play in."

"That's ni... Wait.. what?" Sine paused, arms full of plushies and threw a startled glance at the girl. "Your children were once plushies?"
Unsure of exactly how to take the remark, Sine simply stared and blinked. How could one's children have once been plushies? It simply didn't make sense! Granted, some of her own family members defied the laws of logic as well, but still!
"Ahh... if you don't mind my asking, how exactly did your children start out as plushies?"

-Iris seemed less then perturbed at the response, hand lifting to wave away the surprise, as her shoulders shrugged to accompany her sheepish smile.- "It has something to do with the shop. A magic chest and all that."
-Motioning back towards the shelf of various plushies she mused softly.- "This shop sells regular stuffed animals and toys to whoever wants them, but it also sells something a bit more peculiar."
"Sometimes people come looking, sometimes the shop calls for them, but on occassions people leave with keys instead of toys. And those keys deliver a plush far from ordinary!"
-Cryptic answer aside, Iris began to gush softly, hands motioning in tiny proportions.- "I remember when I first got Nayati! He was the softest cutest little plushie.. and next thing I knew he wasn't a plushie at all! Just a precious little miniature unicorn."
-Fumbling around in her pocketless little ensemble, she finally procurred some sort of wallet, flipping it open to reveal a picture of a small half unicorn/half man, tending to flowers that were almost as tall as he was.- "Nayati!"

"A plush far from ordinary," Sine repeated in a musing whisper. She instinctively beleived the girl's words. After all, there was no reason to lie about such a thing. Looking at the pictures, Sine had to smile and giggle a bit at the tiny Unicorn man tending his flowers.
"How precious," she murmured before looking up with a solemn expression. "I know I'm a stranger to you and all, but please tell me that not everyone knows about him? I'd hate to see anythign like him end up with someone who only cared about turning him into a cash cow."
Dropping her eyes, she stared at her armful of plushies. Really, what riht did she have to make demands like that?

"Oh?" -The thought was a little above the naive girl's regular thought processes, and as she slowly flipped the picture closed, she was silent in thought, before finally she nodded, just as bubbley and chipper as before.-
"The other velvets know about him. And a few family friends. But that's part of the magic of the shop."
"They grow with bonds and love. Only if they're treated right and given tons of love and attention do they ever grow. And should anything happen to that bond, or their bonded one, they revert back to plushies once more."
-Her voice hushed near the end of the statement, mind drifting to her own daughter, who really wasn't hers at all. How lucky it had been for Chastity that Iris had found her. That Iris had been so connected to her uncle, Chastity's previous owner, that the hummingbird had been allowed to wake from it's slumber once again after her owners death. What a sad thought... to be stuck in that eternal sleep.
Somberness uncharacteristic of the bunny-girl loomed in silence for a long moment, before finally words escaped, sounding awfully nonchalant despite the weight behind them.- "Would you like one? Would you like to take care of one I mean?"

For a brief moment, the bunny-girl's words didn't quite sink in, so relieved was Sine that the little unicorn man would be safe. Then... "Wha... what? You'd trust me with somethign like that? But you don't even know me!"
Truth be told, Sine felt rather honored to have even been asked such a question, but she couldn't help feeling shocked at the same time. Giving her head a small shake, she hugged the armful of plushies closer to her chest.
"How can you be sure I would be a good parent to someone like your Nayati? I mean, I would love the chance to care for someone like him, but how can you be sure I'd be a good parent?"

"We've never had an occassion where the chest made a key for someone who it wasn't meant for. So I trust you're very capable for the job."
-Motioning finally for the girl to follow, Iris made her way to the counter, resting one elbow on the edge as she fished around with the other hand.- "There have been alot of parents come through here that have been unsure of themselves, and worried about things. But that only goes to prove that they ARE good parents. Worrying keeps you on your toes, and besides, you've always got other parents and older velvets to fall back on when you need help."

Quickly puttign the plushies down and following after the girl, Sine figured she would see what else happened and buy toys for her family later. Doing her best to not allow her utter befuddlement show, she tilted her head and simply watched the other girl.
"You make several good points. But, forgive my ignorance... the chest making a key?"
