INTRODUCTION________
Roleplaying is a great hobby. It is (usually, hopefully) free, you learn and build upon your grammar and creativity, and it is a good experience all-around. We have all found playing the Metal Gear games a great experience - Why else would you join Outer Heaven? The goal for this roleplay is to combine both of these experiences into a unique one. That is my wish, and I hope that you enjoy the Metal Gear Solid: Simulation roleplay.
DOCUMENTATION_______
The year is 2010, a year after Arsenal Gear was uncovered by Solid Snake and Raiden. Despite massive protests worldwide, the government did not reveal what it was to the public. Thousands upon thousands of theories began to circulate, including the truth about the Patriots, but just as they said; too much information could be a bad thing. Terrorist milita factions came to power in many of the Third World countries, and some came to being in the United States itself, as small resistances with their own view on what was going on. None had it right, however, and the world went on as it did before, but with the growing worry of black market Metal Gear units and a gigantic spider web of terrorism.
The legendary Solid Snake has not shown himself or any traces of his existence since April 30th, 2009. A Metal Gear Ray unit is still unaccounted for, and the man named Jack, codenamed Raiden during the operation on Big Shell is believed to be in hiding with his wife. Otacon is a renowned cyber-terrorist, according to the CIA and the FBI.
In an effort to stop the huge amounts of terrorism, the United States is secretly putting together a team much like FOXHOUND to train with VR and extensive exercises in order to create a highly skilled combat and special operations unit the world has never seen before...
INFLITRATION_________
To create your character, you need to make sure to keep in mind that your character will be apart of the training for this new special operations unit mentioned above. That is not to say your character will make it all the way! It is always possible that they might not be able to complete or qualify to be in the new unit. Therefore, make some plans one what to do with your character just in case.

[Name] Kaedje Kumar. [Pronounced KAYE'D-JAY]
[Age] Twenty-seven.
[HC] Blonde-brown.
[EC] Gold with red flecks.
[Origin] Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India.
[Height] 5'7"
[Weight] 137 lbs.
[Identifying Marks] A jagged scar that continues from her left cheekbone down to her collarbone, perhaps further; snake tattoo running up her right ankle to her shin.
[Physical Desc.] Tall for her origin and lacking most Indian characteristics, it is assumed that Kaedje isn't full-blooded Indian, though who knows what that other half could be. Her eyes have a slight slant, which may indicate Asian origin. Her face and body are angular, as she usually sits upright and unmoving.
[Weapon Proficiency] Explosives or hand-to-hand. Dislikes most light firearms.
[Favorite Weapon] Remote mines.
[Abilities] Reconnaissance photography and detonation. Highly trained in locating structural weak points. She speaks 4 dialects of Hindi, English, and the Maa language of the Maasai.
[Personality] Bitingly sarcastic. Content to observe and psychoanalyze, she avoids most casual conversation and spends far more time perfecting her skills than bothering with things like interaction. Occasionally manifests a mischievous streak.
[History] Born and raised in the city of Varanasi, she left home at age fourteen with delusions about joining the Indian Army, but was of course denied due to her age. After returning, defeated, she took it upon herself to learn everything from survival tactics to use of the Indian Special Forces' 7.62mm SLR rifles. Upon her nineteenth birthday, she enrolled in basic infantry, but was transferred within the year to the 10th Para Cdo., one of the Special Forces' elite "Red Devil" Paracommando units. There she specialized in clandestine subversion and sabotage, and was stationed near the Kashmir border.
In 1996, India disbanded and reformed their Special Forces to form the 21 Maratha LI Cdo., which left Kaedje with no formal training in anything but warfare, frustrated as all Hell, and utterly out of a job.
Since then, she has stationed herself with a mercenary group consisting mostly of Elgon Maasai near Bumba Zone, Africa, whose talents were hired to quell rebel uprisings in the Congolese areas.

[Identifying Marks] Thorough body scarring, Green eyes, an uncommon trait for a Filipino.
[Physical Desc.] Skinny and slender, while not lacking muscle, Res excells in his speed and agility. He seems very loose and his movements are flowing; graceful. In battle, one might say his movements are comparable toa dance. He's flawed in his impatience and hyper activity. He is uneasy sitting up straight and frequently turns his chairs backwards at briefings. He has thick, black, wild hair and wears dark goggle at all times.
[Weapon Proficiency] Knives and bladed weapons, automatic rifles.
[Favorite Weapon] The 8 inch Bowie, stripped from the corpse of a dead US Marine.
[Abilities] Is at home in the bush and can survive for weeks on end in the wilderness if needed. His frame and agility make stealth a natural strong point. His skills with a bladed weapon have never been matched and his proficiency for fighting in dark areas or nocturnally have caused rumors of him having the ability to see clearly at night.
[History] Born and raised a Catholic in the predominantly Islamic Basilan province in the Philippines, Res turned from his beliefs at an early age and joined the Terrorist group Abu Sayyaf. At age ten he was trained in survival techniques and in both Urban and jungle warfare, and his small frame and agile body made him a perfect candidate for risky stealth operations. In the first half of the first decade of the new millenium, The United States' war against terror brought US military to radical Islamic-associated groups all over the world, and eventually to the Philippines. At 13 he was part of a raid on a US military camp that severly ebbed US military aspirations in the Philippines. At 15 he guarded nuclear silos, and assembly facilities, with some exposure to radiation, which may account for his eye color (It's metal gear. If Hideo can have and upside down man being pulled into a helicopter by a bunch of hornets, then I can have this). The terrorist faction was eventually found and sacked by both Philippine national and US forces and Res was placed in an internationally-sponsored rehabilitation (prison) center. He was eventually taken from the prison secretly throught covert Us operations in exchange for being a part for the current project. Scouts for the project had heard of his skills during the various battles with the US marines. Trapped in a room with 10 US marines, he set off a smoke grenade and escaped the room, but not before leaving 5 marines dead.
