Arenas (what it can be changed to ^^):
Classic: A flat field with no obstacle, a quite smooth hard surface. Its Easy to get a grip on this floor but its very hard to hide in a course such as this. There are 4 statues at each of the corner. Each one has a statue of of a warrior on it. Tall and mighty. Breakable XD.
Grasslands: A large grassy scenario is used here. here everything is highly flammable. No trees, just tall rich green grass.
Jungle: A large Jungle scenario with plenty of places to hide and duck about. Beware of some random marshes here. (yeah the Arena is HUGE) Everything is quite flammable too here, but not as much due to the plant life type.
Factory (Fire): The factory is a complete Steel arena with fiery machines that constantly hiss and give off some flames from the top. In the center there is a huge furnace type machinery that is quite dangerous to be around O_o;; . this makes it so that battles aren't only limited to the ground. People can leap onto steel platforms and take their battles airborne ^^.
The Frozen Tundra(ice): A completely frozen battlefield with plenty of various frozen obstacles. There is a large Ice creating machine frozen underneath the battlefield. Traction on this type of battlefield is almost impossible. (its ice.. duh x_x)
Lost Desert: A giant Sandy battlefield made with its own weather effect of sandstorms. Made to obscure fighters vision and add to the difficulty of moving around. The sand gives you a lil too much traction that is hard to start moving quickly and such.
Cave: Here a giant cave will be formed in the battlefield, darkening players visions and such and a heavy chilly moist cave feeling around them. The playing field is breakable but it would take a lot of strength breaking the power of mother earth's tightly packed rocks.
Sea of Hope: A complete water field with a only 2 islands. Its.. water... not much to say about this : / . Its rather deep, like 20 feet deep.
Abyss:: A complete Dark Aura battlefield. No obstacles but there is a hazy purple mist that lingers around the field. Mainly for those who use dark magic can summon up powerful spells here.
Alchemist Paradise (Junkyard):: A giant Junkyard with many objects Alchemists can use to transfer them into weapons or anything their heart desire ^^; Plenty of hiding spaces here. There are a few conveyor belts about here that are working O_o.
Pearly Gates: The pearly gates is just the Abyss but vice versa. It has a huge Spirit energy floating about for magic and Light users to use to summon Their spells. Very cloudy like here ^^.

Monster: You control the monster, along with your partner. You make it's movements, and what powers it has, what it looks like/size, and so on.

Vlad oomphed as he was tossed into the icy confines of the arena. He looked around, He had a Dark Elf for an ally, an arena with no traction, and hadn't had a fix in nearly two months... Whatever he had to fight was going to die a long... horrible... painful death as he ripped out ever single piece of the thing's mana. He pulled out his daggers and stabbed into the ice, staying low to keep some traction, and his balance. The frozen water below him shook a little, then a Purple Worm burst forth from the ice below, sending shards everywhere. Vlad rolled to the side and took cover behind one of the larger chunks that had embedded it's self in the ice, looking over to make sure his ally was ok.

Nakashima stood on the ice, survaying her surroundings. The entire arena was ice, but small ice sculptures was around the rink. Although the ice was clear and water could be seen underneath, the ice was rock solid and had no intention of breaking without being provoked. Shima wobbled as she moved toward her teammate who had, apperently, discovered the monster for this arena.
It was a large purple serpant that seemed more like a worm. It was covered in hard, rocky scales that took the appearence of large bolders. Scales laced on the top of the serpant were purple and the scales along the bottom side were a dark olive green. The long body of the serpant itself was almost twenty feet long and the lower section of it's body sat underwater. As it reared it's head, the long teeth protruded from it's upper and bottom lip. Inside it's mouth, rows of teeth were laced inside. The purple worm slithered over by Vlad, dragging bits and pieces of ice shard across the field. Vlad had taken shelter behind an icicle, Shima had nowhere to hide. She stood still, shaking occacionally due to the ice, and grasped her spear tightly. The worm was too close to her, any movement was dangerous or perhapts fatal.
" Vlad....A little help would be nice. You know, anytime soon? " She whispered quietly to the icicle that Vlad was taking shelter behind. " Nice worm. " She said slowly as she faced the worm, trying to slide slowly back. " Niiiiiice wormmy. "
The worm closed in on her, it's breath leaving smoke trails in the cold air.

Vlad grinned, the Worm had taken the bait, Ironic and Strategic. He squat turned out from behind his little hideaway, skittering on all fours along the ice, using his daggers for traction, making it easier to move across the ground for him than the giant purple menace.
He took in a deep breath, the magic from the worm filling him with new speed, just enough to dodge over the coiled tail coming to take him out. As he rolled over the scaly body he sunk his dagger under a smaller scale, wrenching his arm but giving him contact with the Worm's body. He slammed himself down on it, the tail whipping around angrily, trying to knock him off as he climbed up to the head, which had taken to trying to take a chunk out of Nakashima."You called?"

Nakashima smiled and used her spear as leverage to stand to her feet. Vlad was riding the worm as if it were a bull at an American rodeo. She crouched down to the ice and reached into her boot and pulled out a small dagger, which she stuck into the ground. She used her spear once again to rise to her feet. Once she stood, she raised her foot and pounded the dagger into the ice. Time stopped and seemed to move in slow motion for that split second. A loud cracking sound emerged from underneath the ice and as soon as it did, the smile disappeared from Shima's face. A crack appeared and snaked along the center of the rink. It rung around the statues becoming longer and longer with each loop and zig zag it created. It stopped at the fourth statue, and with it, the loud sound. The worm stopped as well and simple stared at the crack. Shima removed the dagger and slid underneath the worm.
" Vlad! Now! " She screamed.
Nothing happened. No movement at all. Shima understood. The ice was breaking, they had to be careful from now on.
" Damn! " She cursed under breath.
It would be even more difficult to defeat the worm now.

Vlad smiled and shot an off black tentacle out of his mouth, it's tip sinking slowly into the back of the Worm's skull, it had hit. He drank heavily from the Worm's magical supply as it started to writhe and smash up the ice, taking great chunks of it out at a time.
Vlad lost control and started sucking in more than he could handle, small sparks of arcane power forming off his body, coming out of his mouth, eyes, fingers, back, everything. He managed a small warning before stabbing into the worm and holding on tight."Stand.. Clear!!"

Nakashima watched in horror as Vlad released all the energy back at the worm. Large sparks of lights hit the worm and it groaned in pain, squirming around in circles. Vlad was knocked out and his body fell limply to the ground. Shima slid clumsily over to catch Vlad's body. She stopped early, but tripped over a hole in the ice and flew to the otherside of the arena.
The worm was still squirming on the otherside. The bashing of it's tail was causing the ice to break. The seperated ice chunks floated on top the water, peacfully despite the constant bashing. Vlad's body was ontop a rather large chunk and would be safe, for now. The worm began to freak out, and began coiling up into a large, scaly ball. The ice was sinking, bringing the worm down with it. If that worm got underwater, it would be impossible to defeat it. Shima would have to work quickly.
She crouched down, like before, then slid to the end of the ice chunk. Next, she jumped over the seperated ice chunks and landed clumsily in front of the worm. She brandished her spear and it shined brightly in the face of the large, purple monster. Water had covered most of the iceburg now, there wasn't much time. However, the water allowed Shima to walk normally on the ice. The worm paid her no attention, which was the way Shima had wanted it. She slowly approached the worm's tail and took a deep breath.
Without anymore thoughts, Shima dropped her spear and grasped the worm's tail firmly. The worm uncurled and thrashed around frantically. Shima was thrown back and landed in the frigid water, her spear flew onto an ice sheet by Vlad's unconsence body. There was no way to get it back in time and her left arm was bleeding profoundly. She had to think fast. The worm was seconds away from sinking into water. She stopped paddling and sunk into the water. Quickly, she tore off her boots and grabbed the dagger that she had placed in the right boot.
" I only have one shot..... " She thought, gritting her teeth viciously.
She reemurged above water with the dagger in one hand. The worm raised it's ugly head, opened it's mouth wide growled loudly in triumph. All of it's many rows of teeth were visable. She hurled the dagger from her hand with all the force she could muster. With the release, she let out a large battle cry.
The dagger left her right arm and enter the worm's mouth and straight threw the worm's head. The dagger came out and landed ontop a large statue. The worm roared and fell down, unmoving, immediatly after. It was dead. They had won. Shima summoned all her stregnth and paddled over by Vlad's sheet of ice. Her left arm was not responding and a small stream of blood followed behind her. She tried to pull herself up, but only managed to pull the upper torso onto the ice. Her body laid on the still, cold ice. The ice surrounding her body was stained red and the weaponry shined brightly once again. Shima lifted her head slowly and looked toward Vlad, who was sitting up smiling at her.
" We........won....... " She said slowly.
His image was blurry and it seemed like a shadow. Her head hit the ground and everything went dark.

Length and Pacing: Rebel did a very good job, but I think Null could have done a lot better with the posting length.
General Grammar rules: I did see many spelling mistakes from Rebel, but I don't believe I saw one from Null.
Personality: Honestly the personalities of your characters was kind of boring. Null kept with his magical need thingy, but really I felt as though both were pretty bland.
Use of Environment: One word, GOOD.
Details: Rebel did a very good job describing what happened, Null I felt as though you just kind of blended in with the background you know? Rebel stole the show.
Rebel In Training's final score: 7.5/10
NullCollin's final score: 7/10
Sorry if I'm being a little to harsh.
You both did a good job, I just think overall you could have done better.

Lenght and pacing: OMG short! No offense, but a lot of people wrote a lot more. You could have described the worm instead of using a picture too. Rebel did better here.
Grammar: I tend to read fast, but I didn't really notice anything. 0_o
Personality: I have to admit, I was pretty bored too.
Use of enviroment: You definatly mentioned the background. Not too bad.
Details: Rebel did better in this part too. Null didn't really stand out.
Rebel's final Score: 8/10
Null's final score: 7/10
