Arenas (what it can be changed to ^^):
Classic: A flat field with no obstacle, a quite smooth hard surface. Its Easy to get a grip on this floor but its very hard to hide in a course such as this. There are 4 statues at each of the corner. Each one has a statue of of a warrior on it. Tall and mighty. Breakable XD.
Grasslands: A large grassy scenario is used here. here everything is highly flammable. No trees, just tall rich green grass.
Jungle: A large Jungle scenario with plenty of places to hide and duck about. Beware of some random marshes here. (yeah the Arena is HUGE) Everything is quite flammable too here, but not as much due to the plant life type.
Factory (Fire): The factory is a complete Steel arena with fiery machines that constantly hiss and give off some flames from the top. In the center there is a huge furnace type machinery that is quite dangerous to be around O_o;; . this makes it so that battles aren't only limited to the ground. People can leap onto steel platforms and take their battles airborne ^^.
The Frozen Tundra(ice): A completely frozen battlefield with plenty of various frozen obstacles. There is a large Ice creating machine frozen underneath the battlefield. Traction on this type of battlefield is almost impossible. (its ice.. duh X_X)
Lost Desert: A giant Sandy battlefield made with its own weather effect of sandstorms. Made to obscure fighters vision and add to the difficulty of moving around. The sand gives you a lil too much traction that is hard to start moving quickly and such.
Cave: Here a giant cave will be formed in the battlefield, darkening players visions and such and a heavy chilly moist cave feeling around them. The playing field is breakable but it would take a lot of strength breaking the power of mother earth's tightly packed rocks.
Sea of Hope: A complete water field with a only 2 islands. Its.. water... not much to say about this : / . Its rather deep. like 20 feet deep.
Abyss:: A complete Dark Aura battlefield. No obstacles but there is a hazy purple mist that lingers around the field. Mainly for those who use dark magic can summon up powerful spells here.
Alchemist Paradise (Junkyard):: A giant Junkyard with many objects Alchemists can use to transfer them into weapons or anything their heart desire ^^; Plenty of hiding spaces here. There are a few conveyor belts about here that are working O_o.
Pearly Gates: The pearly gates is just the Abyss but vice versa. It has a huge Spirit energy floating about for magic and Light users to use to summon Their spells. Very cloudy like here ^^.

Noelle stood in the midst of chaos. Black and purple smoke blew around her bare feet, which where covered in the black, black dirt that covered this forbidden land. She shivered, whether it was from the cold or from the blank fear racing through her mind, spreading like a drug, she could not tell.
Before her stood a creature- the kind of abnormality that appeared only in ancient lore and children’s nightmares. It was grotesque- long, snout-like jaw unhinged on one side, causing acidic-looking saliva to drip over its curled, black lips. Its nose was as black as the earth she stood upon, with shocking, ridged lines of pink scar tissue cutting through the soft flesh.
It snarled at her, and for that moment she stood, completely frozen. The unsightly abomination in front of her, staring her down. Sure, she had seen werewolves before. Some of her friends were werewolves. However, none of her friends happened to want to kill her. Or be undead.
Her first thought was to run, and her clouded blue eyes flickered back and forth, searching for an exit. She found there was none. Next, she looked at the creature’s legs, finding them lean and strong, looking ready to pounce. She was a slow sprinter- if she ran, she would die.
It growled menacingly and she flinched, then quickly looked down at the blade in her hand. Primal instinct had drawn it at the first sign of danger, and the black hilt in her stiff grip cooled her thoughts and eased her mind. She smirked, ready now. Ready to fight.
Briefly, she looked over at the man standing near her. Now that her thoughts were clear, she was able to recognize his presence. She sensed no evil from him, and upon further study of him, realized that he was, indeed, Mark Soulflame.
The creature in front of them twitched, and Noelle quickly looked back at it. Tightly gripping the hilt of the sword, it’s normal, silver gleam covered in a purple haze. Noelle knew that in order to survive this, she would have to attack, and fast. It was undead, and so, would not feel pain as easily as another opponent. It would fight to the bitter end, and Noelle wasn’t sure she was ready for that. But she did know, in the back of her mind, that she would have to try.
If not: only death awaited her.
Suddenly faced with the decision, Noelle brought the gleaming blade to her side, and took a deep breath.
The monster roared as Noelle pursued it, running as fast as she could at its decaying body. She leaped into the air and brought her sword down upon its head. It blocked, it’s fur-covered arm covering its face. Noelle leapt back, landing on one knee, preparing for her next attack.
She let out a yell and sliced at its legs. Noelle’s eyes widened as its legs were replaced by air, and her muscles ached with her miss. She let out a yelp as the creature stomped the ground next to her, dust flying into her hair and eyes, and purple haze temporarily blinding her. She rolled out of the way and stood, breathing heavily, lifting her sword in front of her once again.
“Mark,” she said, frowning, “As much as I hate to say this, we gotta work together. I don’t wanna. But we gotta.”

"By the looks of it, I agree!" Mark said staring at the creature rising above him. Mark gulped as he unsheathed one of his staffs. Holding it in front of him he prepared himself. He could tell he was going to be the one expected to attack next.
The fog surrounding the room blurred Mark's vision and for a moment he couldn't see. But this didn't seem to affect the werewolf so it took advantage of this moment and dashed over and landed a blow deep into the boy’s chest. Red was now among the fog.
Coughing up blood, Mark laid on the ground defenseless. He landed hard in the so hard in the dirt that- Dirt! That means there is probably rocks, and if there is rocks! Mark stood up, his spasm of blood coughing over. "Now it's my turn!" He said walking toward the werewolf, his staff trembling in front of him.
The furry creature had noticed of the boys rising, and found it quite interesting. It only took that long. Normally it would've taken much longer. The werewolf knew this wasn't a normal staffs man. This was a mage and must be a good one if he is able to heal himself. Intimidated the werewolf also began to walk toward the human. Raising his claw he slashed down at the boy.
The creature’s attack was easily blocked by Mark's staff and at that point he had already been preparing to use a spell. Holding his hands up high a green glow surrounded him in the immense darkness that filled the area. "Sand Demon!" A monster rose from the dirt, almost invisible with the fog. The creature really was not alive, nor was it even able to survive an attack. Once hit it would turn back into its original state, sand. But, it did buy them time.
“Noelle! Attack the werewolf while it goes after the diversion! I will spike up some rocks so if it leans forward, that will be the first thing it lands on!” As he said that the glow surrounded him again. “Rock spikes.” He whispered as pointy rocks appeared in front of the monster. Looking over at the older girl he nodded and said “Go!” I sure hope she understands! Mark gulped and let out a cough of blood as the pain from the punch returned.

Noelle leapt once more, jumping over the abomination and landing behind him. Swinging out her sword, Noelle deftly sliced through his tendons, and a grayish-red blood splattered onto her face and onto the dirt.
The wolf howled as he fell to the ground, unable to stand for the moment. She jumped into the air and landed hard upon the wolf’s grotesque head. Dust and haze swirled about them as Noelle was thrown from the wolf’s head, landing on her bottom. She rubbed her head, silently feeling for any abrasions. She found one, lightly bleeding. It stained her blonde hair pink as Noelle stood back up, ready to fight again.
“Man,” Noelle grunted, dragging the tip of her sword in the ground, “I wish I’d never gotten out of bed, today.”
And with that, she prepared to attack. The creature swung at her, its claws slicing through air and hair. Golden strands flew into the air as Noelle ducked, eyes narrowed in concentration. She swung at its belly, trying to gouge out its innards. It hopped back, making a guttural growl and then-
“Oh! Gross!” Noelle yelped as the monster spat up a large wad of…God knows what. She attempted to move out of the way, but the wad of mucus attached to her left foot, and pinned her there.
Noelle was frozen in complete and utter disgust, “Oh, ew. This is just…ew. I’m so grossed out right now.”
The wolf came at her then, swinging its arms blindly at her head and chest. Noelle ducked, starting to kick with her other leg. She let out a small cry as the substance on her left leg hardened, making it impossible to side- or sweep-kick without twisting her ankle.
As she realized this, a great, giant paw came out of nowhere, smacking her across the face. The hollow sound of its pad against Noelle’s cheek echoed in the deserted area. Blood trickled down in tiny rivulets from her eye brow and head. The tendons in her leg strained as her head moved with the paw, her foot still chained to the ground. Her knee dislocated, and then popped back into place with a sickening sound.
She would have stumbled if not for her frozen foot. She remained on her feet, panting and attempting not to cry out in pain, for she hurt in a million different places, and could find no way to ignore any of it.
Noelle felt close to crying when she shouted to Mark, “Hey, how much longer? I’m not doing so good with the whole… fighting thing.”

"Um, not too well! I cast a fake summon, but the werewolf doesn't seem to be distracted." He answered quickly for the longer he took the more time the monster had to attack his partner. Thinking, Mark tried to hold back his spasm. He didn't want to seem weak.
Checking his condition, Mark noticed he had blood covering his whole cloak pretty much. Perfect! There goes my water proof cloak. I wish it was blood proof. He had a bloody nose, a huge bump on the back of his head from the landing and many bruises. Mark also noticed he was becoming tired. The Mana was flowing out of his body. "Noelle! I won't be able to finish him off. I think I can only cast about two more spells. I can weaken him, but you will have to do the rest!" He could already feel her anger growing.
The fog seemed to be not as dense anymore. Or it could just be Mark's eyes becoming use to the darkness. A breeze blew and pushed the fog even farther away. The boy could see the whole attack now. The whole, bloody attack. Racing over to the werewolf he yelled a battle cry. "Get off of her!" He said as he whacked the werewolf right in the stomach. Helping the older girl up he began to think up a spell. It didn't last long for the humanoid sliced Mark's back.
"Sand Shield!" The green glow returned as sand blocked the werewolf from the two humans. Sweat poured down Mark's face as he waited for the spell to finish.
As the sand fell, the werewolf was no where in sight. "Where are you?" A roar came from the right as foot steps pounded against the ground. Preparing himself for the attack he yelled! "Rock Spin!" Pebbles flew into his hands spinning at great speeds. As the werewolf came into view, he shot one of the out of his hand. It missed. So did the next. And the next. With two rocks left spinning in his palm, Mark shot one and the monster blocked it with its arm. As the creature was about to slash Mark with a finishing blow the pebble flew so fast it was almost invisible in the darkness. It hit the creature in the eye. Still attacking the werewolf clawed Mark's throat before reaching to his eye from the pain. With only a few breaths left Mark yelled to Noelle, "Attack now! This is his weakest point! Finish him o-" Mark fainted from the pain. Even in his unconscious position he choked for breath. Every molecule that he got would be like finding the Holy Grail. Not even knowing what was going on Mark laid on the ground in pain.

Noelle sighed deeply, “Oh, you have got to be kidding me.”
Frowning, she took her sword and stabbed it into the hardened shell that encased her leg. It shattered, and she silently thanked Mark for weakening both the gelatinous goo and the werewolf as she shook out her leg.
Her knee ached as she shifted her weight back and forth, testing her strength. She was not going to hold up much longer. Her lazy-senses were tingling and her body was unhappy at the unaccustomed exercise. But, once she started something, Noelle Yokobue had to finish it.
Oh, who was she kidding? She never finished anything.
Noelle smirked and started walking, then sprinting, then running full out at the creature, still hunched over in pain. She quickly looked for a weakness, scanning the body of the wolf, its fur mottled in places. The grayish fur was particularly thick around the neck of the beast, and Noelle figured that should be her first shot.
Just as in her karate classes (which she had quit at purple belt. Go figure) Noelle slid in front of the beast, crouched down low, gathering her fading strength. Her body took over, and before she knew what she was doing, she launched the sword upwards, like a rocket exploding into space.
Except, this time it was her sword, and it was exploding horizontally through the werewolf’s mouth. The blood leaked onto her face as she drew out her sword and deftly leaped atop the wolf’s back. Lifting her sword above her, Noelle slammed it down through the skull of the beast, willing every ounce of her strength into the blow.
It worked. The tip of the blade punctured both skull and brain matter, driving on through.
The werewolf collapsed to the ground, falling into the harsh, black dirt that would be its grave. Noelle fell with it, exhausted. Taking deep breaths, she sat up on her knees, and then maneuvered herself to the creature’s head. Putting her feet on either side of her sword, she pulled with whatever strength she had left. The sword slid evenly out from the wolf’s skull.
Noelle shuddered. “Gross. I got brain on my sword.”
Standing up, she allowed the tip of the sword to drag out behind her as she moved over towards Mark, her partner.
“Hey, buddy.” She muttered, looking at his wounds. “Damn. You got owned.”
Well. She was completely insensitive as always. That was a good sign.
Smiling, she fell onto her back, beside him. Looking over at him, her vision riddled with rifts and holes and abysses, she nodded off.
“Thanks, Mark,” she murmured as her mind faded and her strength left her. “Thanks.”

Length and Pacing: Wow! I was very surprised, I didn't expect anything like that from you DTS. You both did an excellent job.
General Grammar rules: Pretty good, only thing I could find were some places were there should have been a comma or something like that.
Personality: Very good! Neither were lifeless! They both had there own unique personalities.
Use of Environment: Very good, I know with an arena like this it's hard to use the enviroment, but you did a good job.
Details: Pretty good, easy to follow and you didn't get lost because the post was so long or anything.
Don't_Throw_Stone's final score: 9/10
The Writer Under a Tree: 9/10
