(( I was hoping to wait for BishiBeloved, but I guess we'll go on? ))
Blank nodded when Avari decided to help search for water, before questioning Ryuk. "Did you want to come with us or hunt?" he asked. "I'm sure you could help either way."
Waiting for a moment for Ryuk to make his decision, Blank turned to the girl in the tree and offered for her the same option. "Join us if you'd like, miss," he smiled. He then looked at the others and gave another nod. "Let's go then."
Taking initiative, Blank turned off the path the group was taking, waving to the 'hunters' as he left. "We'll meet up later, okay?" he called back.

Before she had time to get lost in her thoughts, Avari noticed Blank already walking away. Startled and hoping not to get left behind, she hurried after him. She'd only taken a few steps when she suddenly skidded to a stop and retraced her path a ways, stopping by a tree and calling back to the group of hunters.
"Oh, um... Please be careful!" she called back quickly before turning back towards her original direction. A moment later, her face reappeared from behind the same tree. "Phoenix!" she whispered loudly. The cat's ear flickered and he turned his head to look at her lazily. After a final glance towards the others, he rose from his seat and sprang off after her.
Spots of sunlight dappled Avari's face as she looked upward. The wind was blowing high up in the trees, but the breeze in the forest was barely alive. It was muggy and suffocating. It seemed that even the wildlife was uncomfortable; Avari hadn't heard a buzz, hum, or chirp since they'd begun walking. The only sound was the snapping of twigs beneath the travelers' boots and the whisper of canopy leaves high above.
"It's way too hot..." mumbled Avari as she trailed behind Blank and Arashi. She glanced down at Phoenix. His black coat wasn't doing him any good. The cat's mouth was open and his sides heaved. Sympathizing with him, Avari picked him up and carried him in her arms, despite the heaviness of the pack on her back.
"So how far is this stream?" she asked, hoping it was close. Avari pushed a strand of hair out of her eye and scanned the forest. "I don't see anything yet..." Her mouth felt like sand and her feet hurt from walking, but the girl didn't complain. As long as they made it to water some time soon, she would be fine. The thought alone gave her hope.

((Sorry - Just getting use to college and all so I havent had much time.))
Blank stopped and glanced behind as Avari said goodbye, waiting a moment before continuing onward. Walking through the forest, Blank too felt the heat of the sun sifting through the leaves. He nodded slightly with agreement when Avari commented on it. "I'm not exactly sure how far, but it shouldnt be long before we get there."
Shuffling his feet every now and then as they went, Blank tried to think of sometime to talk about while they walked. It would take their mind off the heat, hopefully. "So what do you suppose happened to the girl in the tree?" he finally asked. The image of her scarred face flashed in his mind. Maybe he shouldn't have brought it up.

{{ Wah, sorry... >.<;;; I've been sooooo busy with school. It's crazy. x_x; Like... there's just so much stuff. Classes, APs, COLLEGE APPS, swimming, volunteering, clubs (I'm in 4 o_o)...!! I don't even want to get into it. xD;
Anyway, I don't know when I'll be posting, if at all... I might just have to wait until the summer (x Ax;;), and... I'm (dundundun!) thinking of quitting Gaia alltogether... there's so much to do, and I don't want to spend the rest of my life sitting in front of a computer... and you must admit, Gaia is really distracting. xD I don't know if I will completely though, 'cause I really like RPing. ; ;
So... yeah, I dunno. D; But... I guess I'll just... post when I can? x 3x;
I have to go back to homework now. D:

Well, truthfully, I've been really busy too and not really in the mood for roleplaying... Which is probably due partially to the fact that no one is posting either. The thing is, if we dont post at least once every two weeks, our new thread will be deleted! Again! gonk
So, I'm really at a loss of what to do. Guys - (This is mostly toward Mitena and gigashadow, though I doubt anyone that joined before comes back to this thread.) - should I just save everything and we could start again some other time? Or do you want to slowly RP by posting just enough to keep our thread?

I probably won't be able to RP here anymore. . 3.

Well, then I guess there's no point in keeping this alive if I don't have my conspirators with me. I'll save the story on my computer and maybe we could try some other time. crying Should I ask the guild mods to put it in the "Archives"? Or did we not progress far enough to do that?
