this is the first romance novel-ish book that i've read by a man. it's pretty good. i actually managed to cry towards the end. i love it. i like it A LOT more than i like the movie. it explains at the end of the book why allie and noah made the notebook that he reads to her everyday. i'm kinda anxious to read "the wedding", which is the sequal to "the notebook".
anyone else have any thoughts about the movie or the book that they wish to discuss? that is if i'm not the only who has read it. sweatdrop though some how i doubt it. mrgreen

I've never read the book or saw the movie but I did watch them renact the kiss when they won best kiss at like the MTV awards or something and that made me week in the knees...

ok. so the wedding isn't a sequel. it's about one of his daughters and her husband. it's not very good. i got rid of it. sent it to the library. mrgreen

I read "the Notebook" and loved it, but like you wasn't as happy with the wedding. I did just finish "The Rescue" By Nicholas Sparks and it wasn't bad.It would make a good movie too.Especially if they get great great actors like they did for" the notebook"
