((The herald shop is having an RP event. RD is taking the baby Devin out to show her what the rest of the world is like. As things progress in the event, I will put more into this post.))
Event part 1: The MallRain, rain and more rain, that's the weather he was dealing with. Fortunately neither Devin or RD is bothered by the rain, though Devin
seemed to be terrified of it, like everything else. To a mall he went with the little actress in hand. Terrified she may act, but he saw thee look in her eyes. Little escaped her scrutiny of the world.
Once there he point things out and told her about them. One of the worst things to do to a child is to talk down to them or speak baby talk around them. After a while of that he started to walk through the mall pointing things out and telling about them till he came to the food court, the most interesting part of ANY mall. During the silence that ensued, except for the general noise, she continued to look around.
Once RD had received his plate of food, she dropped the act and grabbed for his food. "So, this is when you stop acting scared." He chuckled while keeping his plate a safe distance from the child. She glared at him and tried some more.
He eventually found a place to sit, and gave Devin a bit of the fried noodles and meat to chew on. It kept her busy, though messy, while RD ate. After that he took her around the mall some more to tell about more shops.
