I'm going to get my tongue web done this weekend. However, the shop offers the piercing in multiple gauges. BME recommends between a 16 and a 12, but if anyone here has any experience with tongue web piercings, would you care to tell me what gauge works the best for healing a tongue web?

I think 14 gauge is most common. My friend had one, but took it out (too much plaque I guess). I can't remember what gauge she had though...
