holyredccphysicist Teh Tenshi holyredccphysicist Teh Tenshi Pretty much everything economic state of Finland is ******** up, and most people can get work only with connections.
I love living here, half of the time. O.o wow... that's... not very good... if you can't get work if you don't have connections...
I mean, it doesn't matter if one can actually do the job like professional, papers are what matter.wow... that sucks then...

I hate our president mainly.

Austin, Texas. I'm not really much into politics, but I'm not a big fan of the war in Iraq. I enjoy the freedoms we have, but not how people use them all the time. We're wasting all our resources too. So about America...meh.

friday i was watching something at the pne
it was called city rhytem and it was pretty much all about how fast and exciting vancouver is and i realized how proud i actually am to be living in bc
i still hate surrey but vancouvers a nice place though some of the homeless people scare me sweatdrop

A land of a large middle class, which is good, since it is the engine of the economy, greedy politicians, patriotism to be envied, law originally based on the hope of freedom of self expression, ie: speech, religion, etc, and to be a more perfect union, where one may have indepenance with law and justice, and secrets that are hidden from us, which we deserve to know. I love America... except for the politicians who keep secrets... Sometimes , I disagree.. I live in America too.. if it's the land of the free.. then why, why may I ask.. are there SO many laws.. I mean geez.. they are even banning same sex marriages? Where's the freedom, they are pretty much contridicting the constituion, which states that it is illegal to discriminate against, race, gender, and religion. ah. that is why it is a democratic-republican nation. so that if the majority wishes for something discriminating, the otehr side will say that it is not allowed, and will stand up for the minority. Such as Gay marriges. that is more of a political standpoint... but also belongs in the religion area, for it is a major issue. Marrige is about sexual love& unconditional love, and thus you can not have a marrige if you are missing one... But most of the politicians say that the reason married couples get lower taxes is because they are hopefully going to have children who will pay taxes. If that is the case, that would be anotehr reason I would want Gay marrige banned. Taking advantage of what is trying to keep the country alive...
@holyredccphysicist: Gay marriage should not be a political issue. Bush brought it into the spotlight because he knew a lot of people were against it and if he promised to ban it they'd vote for him. However, a man and another man or a woman and another woman getting married is NOT GOING TO AFFECT ANOTHER STRAIGHT COUPLE'S MARRIAGE. People talk about how gay marriage is wrong and how they need to ban it because marriage is sacred, etc. If you want something that goes against the sanctity of marriage, what about divorce? Getting married and then deciding it was a bad decision and just reversing it? I see that as much worse than a man marrying another man, etc.
As for straight couples having children to pay taxes later in life. . . gay couples obviously can't have children of their own. However, there is the option of artificial insemination in the case of two women. That would result in tax paying babies. And in the case of some women and gay men, adoption is always a good option. And by adopting, they are helping to control the human population, rather than just adding to it so our government can make more money.
Wow, ok, I definitely think that we need a separate thread on gay marriage in this sub-forum . . . lol

Like Shippo said, America is supposed to be the land of the free but we have so many laws and amendments banning us from doing things we should be able to do!
On the gay marriage topic, they are now trying to amend the constution so that gay marriage is illegal everywhere. That is bs. They are just being close-minded jerks.
There really is no equality in America. Whether we are talking women's rights, gay marriage, african-american rights, etc.

I think that the USA is not going to get any better until we get a better president. He's made too many wrong choices and he's seriously.. pathetic sometimes. I mean, not to insult his fans, if he has any here, but still atleast he could take some speech classes or something DD;
When I'm in college or maybe right after I graduate I'm going to move to Japan. I think the world's future is going to be within places such as Japan and the US (or it was maybe not so much the way it's going for us) and that's where the most opportunity will be for me. :3
