Citizens of the Vanguardian Axis, lend me your ears and listen carefully to what your conscious says to you. It has come to my attention that the recent election for the position of Governor of Vann Sky has come as something as an issue to the candidates involved. I come to you today to speak the truth of all that has happened and all that is so! I come not as Guilliam Yaeger, but as a man torn between two selves that have observed both sides and come to a conclusion that reflects all that I have pondered over since the election's end. I ask you to be completely honest with yourself, as these questions are to be asked to yourself. There is no sense in being dishonest with yourself.

Some of you may have heard that the election was rigged........that votes were placed moments before the election's end. I ask you, is it not the point of an election to rally votes? Can you honestly tell me your decision was based on belief of competency and not of a thought of friendship or obligation? Some of you may have heard that applicants to join the RP were turned down during the election. This I know, for I made a suggestion to do so. Is it not logical that only the current citizens know enough of the guild to warrant giving them votes? Would you allow entrees for the sole purpose of voting in the election only to have them become inactive later? It can also be said that the former governess relied on an undisclosed vote which was thought to be misplaced as a means of securing a victory, or tie at the very least. Standard electoral format dictates a ballot of utmost privacy! If a citizen does not wish to share his vote, that is his or her right! I speak from the view of the one vote relied upon. Though I may not have been right in my actions, they allowed me to see what would have been. I see things for what they are now. Can you see them as such?

I'm sure some of you have asked yourself why an election was only called for the position of Vann Sky's governor. The truth is, the issue was to be resolved as direct impeachment. Truthfully, this election never should have happened. A Vote of No Confidence had called the current Governor's action, or lack there of, and the position was to be immediately replaced with a new governor. However, the current could offer little than a short lived defiance, until an individual unregistered with the Vanguardian Axis took the better part of four hours to stand up and make several irrelevant points, only bringing about our election when our council could take no more of these pointless arguments and meaningless debates. Having been present for over half of the affair, I can vouch for the irrelevance of the comments made from the unregistered party. A good portion of the conversation is available from myself upon request, if you need such validation. As for the other governing powers, this has been called into question, and I offer the answer. They have been hard at work, preparing story material, graphical design, and a java script battle program exclusive to the Vanguardian Axis! This brings me to my next point.

It has come to my attention that the Vanguardian Axis has been called a "communist party" since the election ended. This is being spread by those who are deluded with the thought that only one governor was fit to rule the party. They try to sling slander, but show little in the way of knowing what Communism is! Is this to be an insult? I take it to be a complement! The communist party had a good idea, but it was too idealistic to be successful with the restrictions set forth by the bounds of reality. Since we've little to no such restriction, we can cover every aspect they failed to succeed with. Currently, the government of the Axis is everything they wanted. We employ a classes system. We have the potential to succeed with the equality the Marxist party sought! Moderators? Even in a classless society, law and order must be maintained. Flame wars are not welcome in this world we have put so much into! Governors? Just a title. Governors are story elements, just as the people of Vanguard. Citizens possess the same ability to contribute material and work with the resources of the cities to make the Axis a better place for all. You needn't have a title to make contributions to the guild. Vanguardian Axis Racing was a one man project, contributed on the simplest of suggestions from the old days when we still used topics for all Vanguard related activity. I contributed this project, and now it's freely available as a game in the Golden Phoenix for all to access. No position of authority, yet I managed to do something for the RP, and it became, along with it's elements, an instrument to the development of out current story. It is not required for one to have a title to make Vanguard and it's subsidiaries a better place! It is only required to be yourself, and enjoy all that is offered by the community!

I ask you to ponder these things as you continue as citizens of the Vanguardian Axis. We simply want a Science Fiction Role Play to rival any other on Gaia. It is up to you, and nobody else, as to how you feel in the guild and what actions you decide to take! Be in the guild for yourself! If for no other reason, I urge you to make that your reason for being a part of the Vanguardian Axis!
