Tala watched his beyblade as it spun before him. He wasn't sure what, but something just didn't feel right. Of course he was happy that BEGA was defeated and things were returning to normal. But he just couldn't shake that feeling from his match with Garland. Was he really that weak? To loose so easily? "Ugh..." The Russian sat back down on the bench as Wolborg started to wobble. Running a hand through the top of his hair, he asked himself. "What's wrong with me?"

Crimson orbs narrowed in frustration as Kai snatched his blade from the air. He just couldn't seem to get the technique to work as he wanted it to!
Dammit! he cursed silently, even as he ran a thumb gently over the picture of his beloved Dranzer - just to show the phoenix that he wasn't mad at her. He was more frustrated with himself; it usually took only one or two tries to modify a new technique so it would work against other Beyblades and not just discarded pieces of would-be scrap metal.
"Once more..." he muttered, reattaching his blade to his dark blue launcher. He didn't bother with the launch command anymore; he just yanked the ripcord. The whirring of the blade as it flew, and the nearly inaudible thud as it hit the ground running - rather, spinning.
Kai frowned in concentration; he often didn't have to yell his commands often for the connection between him and Dranzer had grown stronger since their last match against Brooklyn - the one where Kai nearly lost his life and Dranzer lost hers. She returned in due time, of course, but that didn't really change the fact that Kai lost her in battle that time, and it was not because she'd been stolen from him.
All right, Dranzer... he thought, watching his blade charge a steady course towards their target: a large rotating fan. It still worked - in fact, Kai had set it to spin specifically for this training session - but it was already rusted and wouldn't be of much use as a cooling medium in any factory. But it was perfect for this instance. If only what had happened earlier - the Dranzer blade nearly getting sliced to pieces - didn't happen again...
