As for my problems, I can't get off the effing Heart of Gold. I don't know how to mess up Eddie and the Nutrimat so the ship starts to get attacked by nukes... gonk

To do that, yu have to, using the spare improability drive and ATS, go to Traal, and take the nutrimat interface there.
Using that, you can ask for a cup of tea, which messes up Eddie.

To get into Marvin's pantry, you must be doing something contradictory - holding tea and no tea at the same time.
The door will thne let you in, but you must make yourself very happy, otherwise Marvin's depression will kill you.
If you don't know how to hold the tea, you must have removed the black particle from the maze.
