ATTN: Thank you for all who've clicked on this thread. However, I am only looking for people who, when asked the question, can say, "I am/was a Buddhist." I can NOT use people who are just familiar with the religion, because then my [school] project will have the wrong type of information. Sorry for being more picky than a finger in a nose, but, seriously, it's my grade I'm talking about. ><;
Thank you.

Sorry if this is a misplaced thread. I just really need this information.

I am doing a teaching assignment in my World Cultures class on Buddhism. I thought it would make it much more interesting and realistic if I included quotes from people who were Buddhist. So, if it's not too difficult/time consuming, I'd greatly appreciate it if you could answer 1 - all of these questions.

**(Since this is for a classroom presentation, your words will be shown publicly to a class of about thirty. By posting here, you are also giving me permission to display your words (credited of course) in a PowerPoint format. Just so we're clear on that.)

The Questions:

1) Briefly, in your own words, describe Buddhism (e.i. the beliefs, etc.).

3) Briefly, in your own words, describe Buddhism today.

2) Briefly, in your own words, describe the history of Buddhism and its influence upon the religion.

3) How has Buddhism affected your every day life?

4) What branch of Buddhism are you a member of? (e.i. Zen, Tibetan, etc.)

5) What is your opinion on Buddhism, or any idea from Buddhism?

6) Do you think Buddhism is a religion, or a way of life? Why?

7) Have any thing else to say? Please say so. 3nodding

I might add some more as I do more research. Thank you all so much. It'll help make my project amazingly awesome.
