So, has anyone tried them yet? Thought and / or opinions?

Well, they've just been released this Saturday and I must admit that they are a real help in painting things with speed.

I have yet to try them myself, according to a friend, they make it possible to paint dark things quickly.

It doesn't look as though the paints are being sold seperately yet, I've only seen them available in one box set for 45 bucks stare , other wise I would have gotten some the other night. They look like they'll work quite nicely, but I'm not gonna buy every single foundation paint ya' know? I just need 4 or 5.

the foundation paints are really really useful for annoying colours such as reds (blood angel players!) and yellows because you can use the foundation paint and they layer it with your chosen shade of colour and bang main paint done!

I'm working with a can of darkish blue, which is working really nicely. I picked it up out of necessity without looking at it too much because I found myself out of blue. (Ultramarines do that) As I tried it on my new Assault squad, I thought it worked well. Mordian Blue is the precise color if interested.

i find "Adeptus Battlegrey" really useful when painting grey, or you can mix codex grey with chaos black, which is longer to do
