There was a fire in the Palos Verdes Peninsula yesterday afternoon. It consumed about a 100 acres of the only untouched land left in the area. The conditions of weather and moisture in the air did not make sense as to why a fire would start. About 200 homes where evacuated. The fire is contained as of this morning.
The land is up for grabs from a private property for the Palos Verdes Land Conservatory and a buyer who wants to build 70-80 homes on it. this would be an opportune way for someone to say, "well, i can't have it, then no one can have it".

I heard about the fire from my mom [we live near pv..like..at the base of it, Torrance..like next to Riveria Village] and I saw it on the news today I didn't know it was that bad though.. If you ask me though, it's the season for these things so I don't think it was intentional
Although it does seem a little strange that someone wanted to buy it already..Forgvie me if I have misinterpreted or read anything wrong but I'm being rushed xp
